Back to School Community Challenge

Summer is over and it’s time to go back to school – in Webkinz World! That’s why this week from Sept. 4 to 8, we offering a Back to School Community Challenge! A Community Challenge is where Webkinz players work together to complete a goal!
If you reach that goal, you can claim your prize on Webkinz Newz the next day! And every day you get a prize just for participating!
Here’s how it works:
- Visit Webkinz Newz to get your Community Challenge for the day
- Work together with the Webkinz Community to reach your goal.
- Check Webkinz Newz the next day after 9:30am to see if you reached the goal.
- If you reached the goal you can collect a Community Code for your prize! But the Community Code is only up for one day so be sure to enter it in the Code Shop on webkinz.com!
- Get the new Community Challenge and start over again!

hi everyone!
it’s been a very hot labor day weekend – it hit 100 last saturday! where’s dee when i need to ask about what to cook when you don’t want to heat up the house?
went to a wedding at the zoo on sunday. thankfully it was a tad cooler. alas, they didn’t let us see the animals, apparently, they go to bed at 6pm 🙁 but it was a pretty venue and, instead of one of those instant pic booths, they had 2 artist render people as cartoon drawings so we got to take one of those home.

Good morning, all! Wow, school in session really slows down the extra free time. It’s all I can do just to log into my accounts and send out acorn requests. Really like those fall items, though, so even if that’s all I’m getting to, I’m trying to keep at it.
Thanks for the community code! I am starting to wonder where I’m going to put all of these academy clothes. I made a whole locker room so that’s where they are going at this point.
Got to watch my boys play soccer last night. I’m always amazed at how fast they are growing up. When people told me it went fast when they were little, I just couldn’t see it, but now that they are in high school, the time goes faster. I love watching them mature, though. They are trying to figure out what they want to take in college and we are exploring all of their options. It is so fun living through them vicariously!

Good Morning from Florida!!!!
Everyone is a buzz here on the west coast! Some gas stations are out of gas, hard to find propane, Walmart sold out of water. Thankfully we collected a lot of stuff, including water, at the start of season. Still I have more things to track down. My inlaws are on vacation in Mexico and really worried since they fly in on Saturday. My brother and his family are evacuating their home and coming to stay with us during the storm. They have already cancelled school for Friday to prepare the shelters. Only thing I’m worried about is my husband works for the sheriff’s department as a corrections officer. They might call him in to stay at the jail for the duration. Other than that I’m not overly worried for myself anyway. I’m keeping those in the tropics dealing with the full strength in my thoughts. Hoping everyone comes out okay.

Other ideas are things like brownies, rice crispy treats, and pumpkin/chocolate chip bread. I made peanut butter chocolate rice crispy treats before, but don’t remember where I found the recipe.
