   Good morning! Thanks for the windows, Moms! I have the WORST luck with that Deluxe Wheel. It is convinced that I’d rather have cash than prizes.

   I’ve had such little time to play this week … I am having withdrawal. I’m going to have to start getting up earlier … like 4:30!

   Having fun focusing on Webkinz Academy stuff, after having ignored it for so long. I still feel slightly guilty for failing my pets, but they seem happy enough, and they are looking forward to recess.

   Been painting in our actual school getting ready for the year to start. Our Admin is finally ready to add some color to the walls, and has given me permission to coordinate it, so off we go. Did some myself last night, and have painters coming in today to do more. It is keeping me super busy!

   Hi friends! My kid started back to school today. We have been busy with back-to-school shopping and events, but hopefully things will settle down a bit. Fall is right around the corner. This is my favorite time of year. I always look forward to summer, but by the end, I’m looking forward to fall.

   Tmt5- Happy anniversary! 24 years is a lot of years! Hopefully you will be able to do something really special for your silver anniversary. Also, I love the idea of your superhero room! I might have to try something like that.

   I’ve been able to get some trading done the past couple evenings in the WW trading room. I snagged several things I needed, which I’ve removed from my wish/trading list. I was crossing items out as a I went, but then I realized it was actually making my list even longer (and it’s already ridiculously long), so I’ve started removing items as I acquire them. When I’m in the trading room, I also trade with your wishlists in mind. I hope it doesn’t seem like I’m playing favorites because I keep sending items to the same people and not others. Some of you have super short wish lists, which means you don’t need a whole lot, or you’re way better collectors than me and already have everything! I still keep your lists in mind when I’m trading; it’s just easier to snag items for people who have a lot of items on their list! So please don’t be afraid to add more items if there are more things you want/need. Also, I’m only sending items to people who keep their wishlists updated and who post as part of this community.

   Does anyone know if bowling balls still sell in the Curio Shop? I know they retired from the Wshop a long time ago, but I’ve been watching the Curio Shop as frequently as I can for days, and I can’t find any.

    it is funny tho, as I cook all this stuff and only eat a bit……….
    but I am glad that my vegan has officially approved my baked goods, as I will now be able to send her stuff at school. she leaves in 16 days or so………..

    I just have ideas and share them here……….and pass on good recipes….they are not all fatty mcfat fat ones……….
    for example, we love grilled veggies!
    I am married to a meat and tater guy tho…………has to have a starch, but he has gotten way better over the years to accept rice, or noodles or spaetzle…. and so on

    we are both tired – she is flat out exhausted, but we didn’t have any of the “hard” work … kitty seemed just fine with it – he knew his furniture, so he explored but was pretty relaxed about it

    My girls will occasional help items jump in to the cart to my surprised at the check out. Rarely cookies though. Key lime and the caramel ones sound good. I bought some key lime Twizzlers for the girls because OD likes the pie but they seem disinclined towards trying them.

    Moms – I’m glad you were able to get your mom and kitty moved into their new place. As long as the kitty is happy, I’m sure your mom will be fine. Unhappy kitty = nobody’s happy!

    Dee – I’m glad you share your recipes, especially the vegan and vegetarian ones. Now that I’m off work, I do a lot of cooking for my husband and daughter (although I’ve never gotten much into baking). I’ve been vegetarian for nearly 12 years. I decided to go vegan earlier this year, and it worked well while I was working outside the home, but now that I’m cooking regularly, I have trouble maintaining a vegan diet. Cheese is the devil, I tell ya’! (not you, Cheese!) So I’ve compromised. I’ve gone back to a vegetarian diet, but I only eat dairy products from natural or organic free range farms, which means I eat no dairy products when I eat out at restaurants. And that’s fine because we rarely eat out. My husband and daughter are both meat and dairy eaters, and I will cook meat for them. I don’t like to cook it, but by doing so, they actually eat a lot less of it, and the meat they eat is healthier and from animals that are more humanely raised. I made an absolutely delicious vegetarian creamy potato soup from scratch for dinner tonight. My husband and I both thought it was the best soup we’ve ever had, and I made a large pot of it, so we’ll have that for lunch tomorrow! As you would say…. num num num. 😀

    Good morning! Just barely time to login and get my gift this morning … and found a bunch of other gifts, too! Thank you Ruby and Cheese for the academy gifts! and to Leenie for the cars! I was just thinking maybe I should take them off the list because it probably won’t happen, so that was great timing and a wonderful surprise. 🙂

    Ruby, I have always had an irrational fear of the trading rooms, so I’ll have to get some tips from you sometime. How in the world do you happen to match up with someone who just happens to have something you actually want? I just can’t fathom how it works in real life. I need a walk-through tutorial … haha!

    The school painting is going well. The custodian who paints for us is so fast … I usually do a couple of samples or a part of the wall to make sure I’m okay with the color. He isn’t too keen on painting sample colors, but once we are sure, he can crank it out. We got a lot done yesterday, and the kids who have seen it are thrilled with the color. It was so past time.

    Sorry to type and run, but got to get those boys to soccer practice this morning. I hope I have some time this evening. Thank you everyone!

    I spent a lot of time in the emergency room yesterday, they took a Cscan and found out I have a kidney infection, WOW, I wouldn’t wish the kind of pain on anyone.
    After IV antibiotics and some pain meds I was sent home.
    I am feeling much better today, thank you for all the good wishes and prayers.
    Now I need to drink 2-3 quarts of liquid a day that can’t be tea (my usual drink of choice). Water here isn’t good so I am off to buy some gallons of water, we usually buy little bottles.
    Thanks again, as I lay there getting poked and pricked I kept thinking of WW and what I had missed these last few days. Yes I am an addict.

    today was all about moving this here, trying that there, fix these plugs, get this outlet strip – settling in stuff … i only had to move one big piece of furniture and shift a few and move a few little ones, but it was busy – left my mother worn out in her recliner with her whiny kitty & her soap operas coming on tv

    LeeAnn – he isn’t that chill – he runs around and hides when anyone else is there, but he is a bit more comfortable with me now. he’s very rotten – spoiled – whines to her when he wants to be rubbed or wants her to sit down and let him sit on her lap

    gramma – i have heard such great results with the hips – i hope you’re optimistic because they have gotten pretty good at hips & hopefully you’ll have a good experience too. of course, that also means following drs orders …

    kgh – so glad to hear from you! i’ve heard kidney infections can get really bad – glad you are on the road to healing. have you tried the squirty “drink enhancers” in your water? walmart has some that are clear – no artificial dyes – grape, strawberry watermelon, and strawberry lemonade. they are 0 calorie, so yes, chemicals, but they really help me drink enough water sometimes. tons of flavors if you don’t mind the dyes – they even have sweet tea and peach tea flavors, koolaid, tons of options

    kgh, I hope that you feel better soon. Maybe you need to take some probiotics to add back the good bacteria if your antibiotics killed them off? Some antibiotics are worse than others. I am not sure what kind you had. I have a lot of yogurt in my fridge now because my son went through 20 days of antibiotics this past month (two types of antibiotics).

    The new eclipse glasses I ordered arrived today. These ones look alright. No slightly off iso symbol or manufacturing information.

    Does anyone want to trade a pare of the Wacky fest pants for a pair of the shoes? I added a pet to an account today and I had an extra jacket for it but not the pants. He is currently in rain pants which look OK but have this baggy effect.

    Good Friday Morning

    Loving the cooler weather we are having. I spent yesterday trying to help my poor garden that got forgotten while I was away. At least my kitty babies were well taken care of.
    My ds would love all the wonderful flavours for oreos that you get in the US, alas we are not so fortunate here in Canada. I have to make my own fun flavoured cookies. Right now our favorite is dark chocolate with butterscotch chips.
    My apple trees are ready for harvest and so are the blackberries. I see tarts and pies in our future.
    I am wishing everyone a safe wonder filled weekend shared with the people who mean the most to you.

    Dee, thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely try the cherries in my sugar cookie recipe. I love cherries. My DH makes his chili with only the finest cut of steak, silly chef steaks are for grown ups. For my kids I make a budget vegetarian version. Lot’s of beans, the only tomato comes from the beans in tomato sauce(no pork), celery, carrots, corn and a little onion and garlic plus mild chili powder. We put the hot sauces out and you add your own to taste.

    Cheese thanks for the happy. I usually cook the apples into sauce and then make an apple strudel type tart that my family will gobble up as fast as I can bake them.

    Shorty thanks for the tip, I actually kinda like Booger.

    Boper thank you for the codes all on one easy to see list. Awesome.
