Wacky Zingoz Celebration
This year’s Wacky Zingoz Celebration runs from August 1 – 12, 2017 in Webkinz World. We can win the Wacky Zingoz 600 trophy again for Wacky Zingoz.
In WackyER Zingoz, each time we earn 11,500 points or higher, we will be awarded 1 of 4 brand new Wacky clothing pieces: Wacky Tuxedo Jacket, Wacky Tuxedo Pants, Wacky Ballroom Gown, or Wacky Ballroom Shoes.
We can also click on a floating Wacky in Webkinz World or on the Mobile app to win a bottle of Zangoz Orange Fizz or a bottle of Wacky Lemon Fizz. (limited to 4 bottles of fizz per day, per account). Here’s the twist: Each time you feed your pet a bottle of fizz, you’ll have a chance to win one of two Wacky Fridges, including the brand new Wacky Soda Machine Fridge!

Just a quick check in for me this morning. Despite my nice long nap yesterday evening, I am actually quite tired. My evening turned sour after I posted here last night and the bad vibe has continued to follow me into the morning.
Yay, Wacky Fest! I’m super excited! Last year I didn’t have time/energy to play WackER Zingoz and get those nice prizes, but this year I’m determined to get those cool clothes! My goal is make sure I play at least once a day, every day.

The Wacky clothes are just adorable (those shoes!!!) and the new soda machine is so cool. Sigh. I’ll have to figure out how to carve out time for both catching legendary pokemon and Wacky Fest. Plus the Ant Mania trophy this weekend.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! My WWID is clm88. I don’t know if anyone else has problems with friend requests, but I can only accept one each time I log in. If I try to add a second friend during the same log-in session, it tells me my friend’s list is full even though it’s not. If I log out and back in, I can accept another. So if you send me a friend request, I can eventually accept it, but if you try to add me in game and I’ve already added someone, I can’t. I don’t want anyone to think I’m being rude if I can’t add you in game. Does anyone else have this problem?… Nevermind, I just read Zingyginger’s post. Apparently this is a known problem. Glad to know it’s not just me!

Boper911, I think I know who you are from Webkinz Newz. If you’re who I’m thinking of, you’re famous for your awesome room designs and videos! Of the games you listed, I can win the Jumbleberry Blast trophy routinely. That’s my favorite game. I don’t get to the end every time I play, but if I play it a few times I will reach the end. My high score is over 46,000. I’ve also won the Pet Parade Trophy. I’ve only made it to the end once because I don’t like the game very much, so once I got the trophy I quit playing it. It might take a while, but I could probably do it again. That said, you don’t know me, and you’re wise to not trust people you don’t know with your account information. I’m just putting this out there in case we do get to know each other at some point. I’m happy to help people with trophies I can win. I’ve also won all three of the new polar plunge trophies. I’m happy to play those games again too. That’s the only bad part about games with non-tradeable trophies, besides the fact that they’re not tradeable, once I win the trophy there isn’t as much incentive to play the game… unless it’s Jumbleberry Blast. That’s just pure fun. If you, or anyone else, needs help with trophies, let me know!

Miracle, I know what you mean about sometimes wishing you didn’t have wifi. RubyCubes, I haven’t had issues with friend requests up until today. I only had one pending friend request when I logged in Webkinz World tonight, but when I tried to click “accept” of course I got the “Please Wait…” message at the bottom of my screen. What a day! I went food shopping and the car battery was dead when I came out. I had frozen popsicles etc.
I called by son in law and he was available, thank goodness.
I ran back into the store and purchased two foam coolers to put all the frozen and refrigerated stuff.
So happy he was able to help and the popsicles didn’t even melt.

Good morning, everyone!
Worked all day yesterday hauling and sorting books for the library preview sale, and went to bed happy, but exhausted. But logged on this morning to find so many generous givers! Wow!
Received a 2016 Golden Cracker Gift from Secret Santa, and it gave me a Peppermint Tuxedo Jacket and a Gingerbread Top Hat (which perfectly matches all of my other new gingerbread stuff, haha!) Also, thanks to my new gingerbread stuff, Helping Paws sent me a couple of nice boxes too (got sneakers, and flooring)!
And wow! items from my wish lists from Wophy, ggmomcat, Boper, and PawsomePony. Really, never would I have thought I would have gotten some of these items from years ago. Blown away. 🙂

SantaLurker – I’ve noticed two give away prizes, but it said round #20. How often do you do these? And do you host these giveaways from your personal stash, or is there a pool of sorts where forum members send items? This is very generous. I’ve been to several Webkinz forums, but I’ve never seen one like this. Most that I’ve been to in the past were just general information or trading forums. This seems like a group of friends who genuinely enjoy helping each other out, which is awesome. I’ve spent several hours exploring this site, but I’m still trying to wrap my head around the format and the rules.
Boper911 – I agree 100% that you have no reason to trust me. I would be very leery of sharing my account info with anyone, especially someone I just met. But I thank you for the friend request in WW. I accepted. I hope to get to know you and others here over time. I thought I recognized your name from Webkinz Newz. Did you put together a video a while back about a realtor showing different types of homes to a couple of Webkinz pets, and they had to choose between a loft that was above their price range and two other homes?
Everyone – I’ve been looking through the wish lists. I don’t really know anyone here, so I’ve just started at the top and I’m working my way down. I have only made it through a few. I will look at them more this evening. I have quite a few items that I can send from those lists. As I look through each list, I’m trying to add you as friends, so if you get a friend request from clm88, please accept it. I’m only going to send stuff to accounts with lists that have been recently updated. To get what you need instead of receiving duplicates of items you’ve already gotten, please keep those lists updated frequently.
I actually started playing Webkinz in 2007 with my daughter on her account. In January 2008, I made my own first account. I started trading regularly in the trading room in 2009 or 2010, back when they had like 5 different color rooms plus a gold room for deluxe members. When I’m in the trading room now and I see “blue” down in the right hand corner, I chuckle. I think of new players (wait, is there such a thing?) coming into the trading room and thinking, ‘Why does it say “blue”? Is this like a preschool thing, where they have to spell out the color of the background?’ It’s an old-school relic.
Anyway, I’ve been collecting stuff for years and years. I started out with a small inventory, so I just traded for stuff that I could use to decorate my house. I put a lot of work into room decorating, and I had pets asking to come see my house all the time because it was awesome. That was back when you could actually invite people over. Now we just have a blued out button on the bottom of our phone that teases us with the idea. Somehow, over time, the size of my house and number of items I’ve collected grew much quicker than my ability to decorate it. So at this point, half of my (enormous) house is just storage rooms with a ton of items that I vow to some day use when I get a stroke of decorative genius (which doesn’t happen very often these days).
So what I have is a crap-ton of stuff that just lags my account out even worse than it normally would. I refuse to give anything, even a junk item, to someone who comes into the trading room claiming to be a newbie asking for free items, because I’m a jerk who assumes that anyone claiming to be a newbie to get free items is really an experienced player who has simply learned how to easily exploit other less-experienced players.
I’ve had a few friends in the past, but like my daughter, they had to grow up and for some reason Webkinz just isn’t relevant to their lives anymore. I don’t get that. I mean, just because you go off to college and are working to pay your student loans, and may give the little remainder of your time to a relationship or something, why does Webkinz have to suffer?
So I’m really excited to find this forum. As I’ve read through the posts over the past couple days, I’ve realized that some of you also have teenagers/warthogs, who probably don’t actually play Webkinz anymore. And if your life is anything like mine, your kids probably say things to you like, “Mom, I don’t know why you still play Webkinz, but it’s ok as long as none of my friends know.” Of course, being the understanding mom that I am, I not only tell her friends that I still play Webkinz, I invite them over to see my amazing collection! I even donated a huge box of new Webkinz with unused codes to her school team last year to help them raise funds at a fair so they could go to a competition. My daughter was like, “Wow! That’s great, Mom! Could you drop the box of Webkinz off anonymously?”
So, this my long-winded way of saying that, because I have very few friends in WW and I don’t trust “newbies” who beg for freebies, I’m super excited to find this forum because I see this as an opportunity to give some of this stuff away to people who will actually use it and who are invested in helping others. This is not entirely altruistic. I am hoping that by freeing up some space on my account, I will be able to move from one room to another in less than 3 minutes.

WebkinzRUs, the floor tiles came from the Zootopia movie promotion, which was a floaty clicky where you’d get a giftbox and the tiles were some of the prizes inside. I think they have since been re-released on the wheels though. I wish those would come back because it would be great to have more. They should put them as Peek a Newz prizes.
Mist, I haven’t been able to follow who has asked for what, but if there is one of those spring baskets left, I would love one!

I have not had this happen in a long time but fortunately when I logged back in to check on things I got a message that said the items had been returned to my dock. Maybe I didn’t add enough postage! RubyCubes – I hear you on the “I’m new, you got any free stuff?” peeps in the trading rooms. Those people are offered nothing but really common stuff, like food, and WShop items. For some reason, they always frown at them and leave the table.
Which just proves, in my book, that they are long-time players looking for handouts. I’m generous to a fault, but I’m not gullible.

Catmom, it can’t hurt to post your wish list either on the trading list or here. You never know when we come across them.
Boper, Discord is the app I’m referring to. It’s great for getting enough people in a raid. If you’ve gotten both legendaries with decent IV’s, you probably can save the premium raid passes for the next legendaries and just use the free raid pass you can get daily. Personally, though, I’m more likely to get TMs from Tier 5 raids (legendaries) than from other tiers so I keep going to them so I can fix my other pokemon. I get TM’s like every other raid now compared to a TM every 8 raids before.

There was a Lugia right next to my daughters’ art school this afternoon so I walked over to see if anyone was there and ran into a Discord group. We also picked up a couple who had just signed on buying a house and saw the group there. No luck catching anything but I had fun going to a couple other near by places with them, the library and the rec center while the girls’ were in their hour and half class. We won two of the battles, the third was just barely lost due to technical issues. Got a couple fast TM modules anyway and candy.

Thank you all for the Happy Birthday wishes! It was very nice, quiet, and low-key, which was just what I wanted. 🙂 DH and kids brought dinner, cake, flowers, chocolate, presents, and of course, a new book, and cleaned up afterward, so can’t complain.
Welcome, RubyCubes! I related to so many parts of your introductory post, and several times you had me LOL. My kids have fond memories of Webkinz, but they are pretty much done with it and think I am a bit strange for forging on. They have all moved on to Zelda and Minecraft, which I’m sure I would get completely addicted to should I ever start playing. At least with Webkinz, it is a bit contained.
Otterkinz, hope you feel better. I am feeling dizzy myself (okay, dizzier than usual!), and have been wondering if it is the weather here (on the east coast). It has been overcast and “heavy” all day today. The coffee helped this morning, but I think it’s time for another aspirin. 🙂

I haven’t even gotten that far yet LL don’t seem to get much time to play games with everything else.
I am excited I think my webkinz buddy from England is going to get a proposal at Liverpool Pride this weekend. Will be on pins and needles waiting to hear what happens. I know his boyfriend is going to ask soon and he has plans to talk to him we just aren’t sure what his answer will be. I tried to throw him a subtle hint and get him to tell me what was on his mind the beginning of the week but from his response the goofy man is going to be completely blind sided.

Miracle – Yes! I agree. My kid gravitated from Webkinz to Animal Jam to Minecraft, and she tried to rope me in with each one. I was all like NOPE. One ten-year video game addiction is enough for a lifetime. What I do like about Webkinz is that it offers a variety of entertainment – games, activities, challenges, room decor, trading, and social interaction. Some days I only have a few minutes to play, so I might just do some daily activities. Other days I might kill a few hours decorating rooms. Sometimes I two box – have the trading room up on one computer while I’m working on another computer right next to it. And a lot of nights I curl up in bed and play games like Jumbleberries on my phone app until I fall asleep. Its versatility allows for a flexible schedule.
Boper911 – I had an idea about how I might be able to help you and others get the Jumbleberry trophy. I don’t know if this will work or not, but I’ll toss it out there. You have mad video and social media skills, which I completely lack. But I have figured out a lot of tricks that make it much easier to complete the Jumbleberry game, which is why I can win it over and over. If you know of any way (that isn’t too complicated) for me to record a tutorial, I could play the game and add suggestions that might help you and others through it. I don’t know if that’s even a possibility or how to record or post something like that, but I thought I’d toss the idea out in case that’s a thing and you feel like walking me through the process.

You will fit right in here! I’m in the same boat with my boys – silly kids outgrew Webkinz. I tell them not to show people my Webkinz closet, but they do and all laugh at me and invariably one of the friends asks me for one. 😛 And yes, you read that correctly. The friends here can tell you that was a big selling point when we bought this house about 7 years ago – it had a closet with shelves next to the coat closet that was meant to be 😳

tmt – a blind proposal…that’s scary and exciting all at the same time. When my hubby proposed, I pretty much knew it was coming, because he took me to the jewelry store and asked what kinds of rings I liked. 😆 I told him “I don’t want a big honking stone, that would scare me to death!” and of course he didn’t listen. I’m terrified to wear it to this day, but I never ever ever remove my wedding band.

I’d love to see some tips for Jumbleberry Blast, Ruby. I can’t seem to get past level 26 on that game. Those darn jars make me nuts. And people give out pet codes here all the time, but I am super paranoid and super cautious. For your own safety, if somebody does give you a pet code, don’t ever mention what account you put it on.
I can give you some tips for Pet Party Parade, moms. My best one is, when you get to level 30, start shouting horrible things at the game. That way, when you lose that level, at least you will have already said everything that needed to be said.

Momskinz and Santa Lurker – Thank you for the info regarding codes. Maybe it is just selling them that’s against their policy. I’ve never given codes away or accepted them to know. I guess I just assumed that was against the rules. Why should people not know which account they’re on? Are they able to use codes to hack into accounts? I’m glad this forum doesn’t have a lot of rules. I tend to not like a lot of rules…. except when it comes to restaurant workers washing their hands after they use the restroom. Everyone – I will plan to do a tutorial of some sort on Jumbleberry Blast since multiple people are interested. If someone can help me with the technology to create a video or put it in a visual format, I will do that. I think it will be easier to follow. If not, I will just type up a list of tactics that I use on each level, and then everyone will have to play around with it to see how it works. However, if I do that, is there a way to post it on here where it will stay accessible? Ok Rubycubes, I’ll share.
As far as career, I have worked as an Optometric Assistant for the last 14 years. Straight out of University I worked at a shelter for abused women and children but quit after a situation where an abuser found the location. I have 2 teenaged daughters, less than 1 year apart. They were both born when I was 28, 2 day on either side of my birthday. I’ve been married 20 years to a man I met in University. We have a cat and a guinea pig(originally had 4 but lost 3 in the last 2 years..age realated). I have always wanted a pug, hence the joke of how I got into playing Webkinz…my sister gave me a lil pug for Christmas in 2011. I love to read, goof around with my family(amazing the girls still like spending time with us) and playing Webkinz of course even though my kids have given it up years ago.

Hello
Caught my first legendary in pokemon go yesterday. Went to the mall and there was a raid battle for an articuno with a large group of people already forming for it. I was able to join their battle and i caught the articuno afterwards. Probably wont be doing too many legendary raids because i don’t have the time to search for them and i hate approaching people to ask if i can join their raid (had to ask my bf to approach this group for me), but it was fun. Does anyone know what the charged tm thing does? I got that after the raid and i’m not sure what to use it for.

Hello rubycube! I always like seeing new people around here, so i’ll share a bit.
I’m a college student majoring in psychology. I’d like to eventually because either a school psychologist or a clinical psychologist, depending on what i decide to go to grad school for. I’m currently working as a caregiver for a child with special needs, which is interesting and kind of ties into what i want to do. I no longer play webkinz because i lost interest a while back, but i still like to check in here to chat with everyone since i was quite active on here when i did play. I’m in the process of because vegetarian and (probably) eventually vegan. As it is, about 75% of my diet is unintentionally vegan, so it shouldn’t be too difficult. I almost never eat meat as it is, aside from the chicken in my favorite salad from panera and eggrolls, but i don’t have those things too often. I have a cat and a chihuahua who thinks he’s a cat. One day i’ll probably end up being a crazy cat lady.

Chococat- the charged TM (technical machine) can be used to change a Pokémons charge move 🙂 I haven’t been playing much since the change in gym mechanics, and haven’t received a TM from a raid to speak to its use from experience, just from reading. My hubby is getting dementia.
He has a blood test tomorrow morning and I just found out he ate a corn muffin two hours ago, so glad it wasn’t a SNOW GLOBE.

dee.. know you are a kitty person and served in the military… Very touching story about a black lab Cena.. featured on nightly news last night..Was given fully military honors farewell as she was carried to a waiting shop for her to be euthanized.. She was dressed in uniform.. told her story about serving in Afganistan..with her owner… by the time the story ended I couldn’t see through the tears…..If you google Cena’s final farewell.. the story should come up..

We have a Christmas room with a Christmas tree that is surrounded with snowglobes. We love snow globes and have collected some real ones while on vacation.
I enjoyed reading the posts from the newbies.

Miraclemom, I started to look for the foods on your list, but ran out of time because I had to run out doing various things with the kids. We have food storage rooms, but there is no organization and it is really hard to find anything.

Good morning! 🙂 It’s a beautiful, but hot, Friday here. Headache is gone and coffee is being consumed at an alarming rate. Good thing, too, because I have TONS to do today.
The requested intro – I am a graphic designer and high school journalism teacher, responsible for the school newspaper and yearbook. I also manage the website, and handle branding, advertising, some IT, and, of all things, the school library. 🙂 (We were short-staffed for a few years, and I just took it over and loved it!)
I think the designer aspect is what keeps me on Webkinz. I’ve left several times to play other “more grown-up” games, but keep coming back because the graphics are so beautifully done and well-designed, and I enjoy creating those rooms with enough storage to hold everything. And, of course, the collection bug which affects us all. I’ll never understand the need to have one of everything, but for some reason, it is so much fun to try!
Have been a Webkinz addict off and on since 2008, and have only been on the blog for a few weeks, but what a great place. 🙂 Wish I could give back as much as they have given me!
Speaking of which, I think I will sit out this contest as well. I would love the snow globe, obviously, but I’ve been given so much the last few weeks, I’d rather it go to someone who has stuck with Webkinz longer and is farther down the collecting road than I am. I am still completely happy collecting Fall Fest items that I’ve missed (love, love, love Fall Fest)!
I would love to do a little Peek-A-News swap if anyone is interested. I always end up with several of one thing, and none of the other. I’ll go and figure out what I have to swap and what I need and be back to post soon. Also still trying to get that Daisy Diner side counter from the Deluxe wheel before they switch prizes. If anyone has an extra, hold on to it for me in case the odds are against me! I have several of everything else and would be happy to swap! Off to go try again … 🙂

I checked my first snow globe post and noticed I forgot to add that I was not actually entering the current contest either. I was gifted one years ago and I don’t want to take the chance away from someone who doesn’t have it. I thought the concept on this was great fun and wanted to play around with it but now realize it might be confusing so I think I’ve now had my fun for now.
