TSL, your beach room looks awesome! And the outfits are just adorable! How many lake tiles did it take? Thanks for sending the fairy forest dress to gaga! I know I have it but it just takes some sitting down time to look through all the pets (to see which one had it on from when I got it from a Webkinz Friends challenge).
Otterkinz, good to hear that you’re enjoying the blog and thanks for the kind words on the room. Like TMT said, momskinz will need to make you an author first then you can post your wishlist/trading list.
boper & moms, I think found the plugin that was making the pics on the posts (not comments) disappear – it’s the one for caching. I’ve disabled it but haven’t found a replacement or fix yet. For now, posts with lots of pics will take just a bit longer to upload.

zingy, that was 15 lake tiles. The lake tiles are furniture, while the beach tiles are carpets, so you can lay the lake tiles over the beach tiles so that none of the yard grass shows.

Wophy, that took me a while to figure out, too.
While editing your comment, there is a dropdown menu at the top right corner called ‘screen options’ where you can check a box that says ‘discussions’ … this adds a new section under your comment where you can uncheck comments and trackbacks. It’s like you have to enable it so you can disable it.

otterkinz – have you already created a login for the blog here? that’s step #1, then lmk if you want me to make you an author to post your wishes/haves. i used to just make a header for WISH LIST and WHAT I HAVE TO TRADE list, but I couldn’t keep the what i have list current, so now mine is only a wish list & i use other people’s wish lists to see what i have to gift or trade
we don’t have a lot of picky rules about trading vs. gifting here, and we are a pretty generous group – more likely to gift than trade these days, but i remember when this was a big trading site and as long as both parties are happy with the trade and no one is taking advantage of anyone, we’re good with it 🙂

Today is Snooty’s Birthday!!! Snooty is 69 and the world’s oldest manatee. He lives in a museum in my area. He was born in captivity. School children have taken field trips to see him forever! When I was a child he was in the tiniest pool inside a building. You could walk right up to him. He would even come up to the edge to look at you. You were not allowed to touch him. My husband and I remember that even the naughtiest kids followed this rule.He now has a large aquarium and often has friends visit him while they wait to be released back to the wild. He is our area’s mascot and everyone here loves him. They throw a big party every year for him and make him a cake out of fruit and veggies.
I remember someone mentioning a few post back that they went to a zoo with a manatee. I thought it would be cool to share.

Would also go down to Florida to visit and my Dad and I would go to this area where the manatees would congregate… I guess they like really warm water..
