   good news and bad news about the whole new a/c heat pump thing

   inspector showed up today from the electric company to verify we really did have one installed so he could issue rebate check………I read the rebate thing wrong online………we are not getting 150 dollars back

    and PEEPS, if you have to replace any big things on your house, check the IRS website and your local utility companies for rebates or tax credits. trust me……

    it was so perfect as the guy showed up right when I was leaving, so I dealt with him versus dh…………I ran back in and told dh that I had messed up reading the rebate info………and he was all grump grump mcgrumperson

    We are having a very nice sunny week for a change.
    There is a new spend 20 get a Cherry Car starting this weekend and there is a secret code hiding in the e-store starting tomorrow.
    The e-store had some challenges yesterday, but I got my wig code in the mail this morning.

    how was camping? was it real camping (in tents, cooking food over fire, going potty in the woods) or was it glamping?

    I have real camp recipes if you go again, I love it………we did a lot when dd was younger, then she got older and dh did not want to sleep in tents anymore………….boo hoo

    gramma, they had so much………..but so expensive………if they had a monopoly potter I would have sprung……..we kind of do the monopoly games. not crazy, just super special ones………..right moms?

    made soup tonite…….cold here today, but back to turn on the lovely ac for thhe weekend.

    bought a baquette and split it and brushed it with olive oil and minced garlic…….smells mighty fine here right now

    soup was dh soup…….cannellini beans, carrots, beef, beef broth, garlic and fresh spinach at the end. gonna reuse the leftover fresh spinach in a greekish salad this weekend. cooked up some farfalle to add to soup and greek salad….sounds yum to me

    glad to hear boper……….we went out and about quite a bit in Alaska…they have lovely campgrounds……..just that camping season and bear season coincide……….found out our first trip that our campsite backed up to some pond just full of freaking out salmon………..eeeeeeeeeekkkk

    make sure you do check for ticks tho…………they are supposed to be really bad this year.

    and for anyone following along, I have three cilantro sprouts! and some crazy weeds in the garden that I have been hacking at. Anyone have suggestions that are non chemical?
