Webkinz Day Weekend
Saturday April 29 is Webkinz Day, and the new fan-designed Axolotl by taydarsauce becomes available in eStore. There were so many wonderful entries in the Pet Design Contest, but one cute entry really caught our attention.
The Farm Fresh Egg by worldcombiner earned an honorable mention, and now this sweet design has been turned into an adorable outfit for your pet.
This weekend, from April 28 to 30, everyone in Webkinz World has a chance to earn all three pieces of the Farm Fresh Egg Costume. Just look for the ads featuring the new Axolotl and Farm Fresh Egg Costume. When you find the ads, click on them for a Community Code for one piece of the costume.
On Friday, April 28, hatch a plan to find the ad with the Farm Fresh Egg Helmet.
On Saturday, April 29, get cracking to find the ad with the Farm Fresh Egg Suit.
And on Sunday, April 30, if you’re clucky, you’ll find the ad with the Farm Fresh Egg Shoes.

The 12th Webkinz Day giftbox is available on Asian accounts now but Asian account superwheel & wheel of wishes can only be spun after midnight EST and before 9:59am EST because they’re glitched (they’re somehow synced to N. American time ever since we switched over to daylight savings time). Same goes for Euro accounts.

Happy almost Webkinz day!
Finally got the gem wardrobe to finish my topaz room and the amethyst wardrobe which makes that room half done! ! Topaz, and Emerald Rooms are now done! Leaving me with aquamarine, zircon, garnet, peridot, needing only 1 or 2 room items to be added before they are finished! Opal and amethyst are the hardest rooms so far and are only half done!

Afternoon Gymbonians, and Happy Webkinz Day!
Sorry I’ve been MIA all week…just returned from a week in Illinois visiting the parents. For once, it was a fun trip…we went to the zoo and a couple of museums, but otherwise we just sat around catching up and reliving old times. The drive is a killer though…fourteen straight hours of highways and absolutely filthy public rest rooms and tractor trailers and bickering kids in the backseat and terrible rest stop restaurant food and idiots who switch lanes without using directionals darn near made me crazier than I already am!
Please catch me up, because I’m not sure what I missed in WW. I *hate* being without computer access for even one day.

TLL – i hope you have been able to collect some baked goods – that’s all i know of that was happening other than the codes for the egg hat & outfit – make sure to enter those because the items are not sendable
i did the deluxe wheel of wishes spin for all the accounts for the free deluxe preview day and did not get a single bubble blower – ugh! i did get the tire swing like April at least …

Oh, and dee, yes, the drive was super boring. At least, it was super boring through northern Ohio. For those who’ve never had the dubious pleasure of driving through northern Ohio, it is as flat as a pancake and has no landmarks other than dilapidated barns and the occasional rusting farm implement.
Driving through the Appalachians was beautiful, since the trees are in flower at the moment. So many colors…almost as beautiful as fall.
We stopped at the Flight 93 Memorial on the way home. There are no words…
Everyone must see it. I’m glad I did see it, but I never want to see it again. We were there for two hours and I spent the entire two hours bawling my eyes out. 🙁

Glad to see you made it back safely, TLL. I have yet to go to the 9/11 memorial in NYC but I expect I’d feel the same way too.

Gramwebbie, years ago we had two boy kitties; strictly house kitties. Our girl was a stray who showed up in the backyard with a neighbors’ cat. She thoroughly enjoys the comforts of being indoors, but goes out several times a day to patrol the yard. Fence is 6′, which she can get over; but mostly she’s happy to stay in the yard.
gagagee, we have no nieces or nephews. 🙁 hadn’t thought about it til now. our eldest granddaughter was born in June 2001. she and our daughter came to our house right after seeing the news about the first plane. it was an awful time.

I agree with you shorty. 16 accounts only one bubble blower and one tree swing.
We have an old wooden pole standing in our back yard and the woodpeckers love it because it is full of wood buys. They have drilled holes all over the pole and one year they made one of the holes big enough to raise three (flicker)woodpecker babies. This year a momma squirrel had five babies in that pole. She is a very good momma and the last few days she has been teaching them to run up and down the pole and how to find the tastiest buds on the apple trees. My dh has been taking video of them and we spend many hours watching them from the kitchen windows. So unbelievably cute.

My dads mom is now forgetting basic skills like walking and talking, so likely when she forgets how to eat, thats it. No estimate on a timeline yet but thats what i know.

when we moved here, main cat brought home a squirrel that we saw him drag to us…….it was half his size!
I think dh was more proud then than any of dds little prizes!
but then he got another!
no other kitties have gotten a squirrel.
amazing as he was fourteen when we moved here!
sounds silly, but the look in his eyes, he was pretty proud of himself……providing for his family and all…..

Bepsy, sorry about your grandmom. 🙁 I was taking care of my mom for over two years. Tho’ she was still in her own home, she was confused about…just about everything; and nasty in the mix. She’s in a nursing home now, with professional care.
