Hope everyone had a blessed Easter, I have been sick since last week. I was eating and my jaw seem to slip out of place. Then it felt sore then the next I started to swell up my ear was killing me, ended up at the hospital on Friday cuz the doc was closed(that gonna cost me a fortune cuz my EM deductible is 2000) I’m still sore but in much less pain π

Hi Everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Thank you for hosting the contest Boper!!!
I have been on and off past few days. I’ve been having some stomach issues so today I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. I had to do a long prep so liquid diet Sunday (Easter) and Monday (my birthday) lol. Needless to say I was not a happy camper being as food is amazing!! I can eat now however. Trying hard to to overdo it, but I’ve been dying for some Easter candy!! Hoping for a birthday cake tomorrow!!

dh and I went a few towns over to there walmart….I found a red pepper plant….still looking for banana pepper and jalapeno……….then the garden is done………but I still have some space left…………hmmm……..

dee, wish I had your oomph! dh got a couple guys to get the leaves out of the backyard. in addition to wacking off a bunch of overgrown shrubs (what was I THINKING????) Photinia’s(sp? are cool shrubs as their leaves change colors. However….they need constant pruning to keep them normal people size rather than gihugical. backyard…sides, around pool, etc. were/are out of control. last couple years have been rough; shrubs used to be my job; dh does lawns and vegie garden. ‘least we don’t lose kitty in the jungle. :eyeroll:

I was fighting a kitten earlier when I weeded! He thinks it his territory or something……..after several bites, I yelled for dh to scoop him up. he keeps eating my flowers!
I am hoping to find some cat grass at lowes tomorrow so he can have his own garden………totally spoiled rotten kitten…….surprise surprise surprise
and we got the ER bill for dd………….less than half of what I thought It would be, but they did not do insurance, so they are recalculating……ha ha ha ha ha

I think dh was a little disappointed……I know I was……….food was good, just not “eastery” enough for us………..dd loved her basket I sent. the vegan chocolate bunny surprisingly arrived intact……….I am amazed as it was one of those flat rate post office shipping boxes that you can cram as much as you can for one fee………….and I soooooooooooo crammed it!

you have making up to do, but at least the Easter candy is on sale now! A neighbor told me a couple of years ago to buy the Easter peanut butter m&ms because they freeze well – i had no idea and found the bag I bought in the freezer two years later π nevermind – chocolate is to be eaten immediately or not at all hahahaha
