    Thanks for the carrot cake recipe again, dee, it was a hit! I changed the sugar to brown just because I like that flavor with carrot cake and mixed in a stick of softened butter cut in pieces before adding the powdered sugar to the frosting to give it a little more body. My honey’s picky 5 yo niece couldn’t stop eating the frosting and no adults left any piece of cake on their plate so it’ll return for his birthday next year.

    I’m not sure about anyone else but I have had almost no luck getting the playful butterflies from the white eggs. Between all my main accounts and about 20 or 30 free accounts I have gotten 2 butterflies so far, really disappointing as they were my favorite prize from this year.

    Goodmorning, Happy Easter

    I saw the baby squirrels in the pole in my backyard. They were peeking out of the hole. There is one grey one and one black one. The mom is black too. So cute. Perfect start to my day. We are going to a friends place for dinner, I made a basket of goodies cake. We will have our own dinner tomorrow night when my dd gets home.
    I have used up over 40 white eggs and I never received one swan so thank you Gagagee. Littlefish I only received 4 butterflies total and two balloons. Lots of old prizes and trees and flowers. Maybe they will have the hardest to get prizes next year as the more common ones. We can only hope.

    I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday! I had to deal with the in-laws today, which is always a challenging prospect. And my mother-in-law can’t cook worth a darn, so it’s always difficult to consume enough so not to offend, but to not consume enough that I spend the meal gagging and retching. I usually come back from their place and immediately cook a meal.

    tmt, I logged on to AW earlier but I didn’t see anything new in my dock. Is there an Easter gift this year on AW?

    tll – sorry about your outlaws – we had brunch with my mother & dh’s parents, it was fine but the food there wasn’t as good as it used to be so i think i would have preferred to just cook Easter dinner like i used to …
