    Michelle on Webkinz Picture Guide has started updating the site again, yay! I was using gottaluvjoe’s update page on WI to get the names for things, but gottaluvjoe stopped updating in January so I was at a loss as to how to get the item names. (I don’t need anyone to get the pictures, because I do that first thing on Update Wednesday! ) So, here are some of the names of the things that I posted the photos for yesterday:

    Photo 2: Dazzling Hairstyle Bow, Dazzling Dress, Dazzling Sandals, no swan/goose name posted yet

How many accounts do you each have, and how many pets? Do you keep building new rooms or just re-do older themes? There seems to be no end to themes and furniture and stuff, all very nice – so hard not to want to make new rooms.

    Well Mimzy, I have nineteen accounts, the largest having over 300 pets. One account is just Harry Potter rooms. My main account just has my very favorite pets and room themes, and if I get tired of a room theme on that account, I rotate it to a different account so my main account is never too crowded. My main account has less than sixty rooms and only about twenty pets. Please note, I am not representative of the blog, because I have been obsessed with Webkinz for a decade.

    I fished out your post, TLL. It was in the pending box so maybe dee was working on it already when I saw your message. Any of the admin can fish it out, not just moms.

    I think the limit was 3 links so that your posts show (or maybe it’s been changed to one link?). Anything above the limit will not show. Anyway, it’s to prevent spammers from posting multiple links to pharmaceutical items and the like.

    I can’t see the pics on my current screen (it’s either my browser or my adblockers are messing with tinypic) so I’ll check it later tonight when I get home. You might want to consider switching to imgur – tinypic sometimes reuses the same links so you end up with another pic than what you intended.

    Hi Dee, I am just short 2 dining chairs from the blue/gold TC2.0 furniture. I have two friends who send me their extra trading card furniture. I store them in a room until I have enough furniture to make up a room. Did you get any rare pets from your trading cards? If so, how many boxes of trading cards do you need to buy on average to win a rare pet?

    Loop, I have Harry Potter folks too!!! tho’ my first/main acct needs some straightening out/rearranging/etc. The gramma accts are much much smaller and easier to manage. Lots of stockpiled kinz unadopted. Real life has limited my play time; I have catching up to do. It all started with one of my granddaughters giving me the Gray Squirrel for Christmas 2008, because I have feeders for squirrels and birds in the backyard. Who knew how much fun webkinz could be??? 😀 not to mention all the great people who become dearest friends here at gymbos! ♥

    Wow Loopy that is more than I imagined! And Dee, I play a few accounts too. I only have 3. I inherited my daughter’s old account and she had like 40 pets and many rooms. We were never deluxe, but had some nice rooms. We used to play together until she turned 12, and that was it. Middle school drama and too much homework. Anyway, I found her account last year and since it was active, I now play. I think I like decorating too much as I went through her old stuiff and made a bunch of new rooms; might have over a hundred rooms now. My nieces, 2 of them, come over and I set up accounts w/ pets I found at the dollar store. They like the games and challenges and dressing their pets, but usually send me all their furniture, so …….

    About me: I was a stay at home mom and still kind of am though my daughter is graduating and will be off to college in the fall (happy & sad about this). We moved in with my parents after my 25 year marriage ended in 2015. I am a breast cancer survivor since 2009 and I suffer from depression, but webkinz helps take my mind off things, and now this blog 🙂

    oh, and i have one big rule in my house – we do NOT count webkinz …

    😆 that means over a dozen accounts & hundreds of webkinz on them

    all of my room design is mostly on my main account, so tons of rooms – i have two sons (i affectionately refer to them as the warthogs), and i inherited both of their accounts so some rooms on there, but not a ton – my main account is my main for all things … i wish i had the foresight back then to separate my pets by themes on accounts because i would have a signature account and some sort of other way … i also want the ability move rooms so i could have a more logical layout for my ridiculous sprawl, but i have the “eternal wants” so oh well 😉

    Webkinz began for us when my granddaughter was only five, she came home from a birthday party were they were playing webkinz.
    Diamond was adopted on Nov. 25 2007, and it all began.
    How can a little girl learn to play webkinz? Of course, her grandmother and mom have to learn so they can teach her.
    My daughter and I found Gymbo’s sometime around Feb. 2008, I can’t remember the exact date.
    It was so wonderful to have others to help you learn and trade. Trading was a big thing back then.
    They no longer play, just me.
    I have met such wonderful people here and the love continues and grows.

    Thanks for sharing everytone. Glad to know I am not the only adult who loves to play and decorate. My daughter is my one and only child. She is a blessing but as of late she and I are not communicating so well. Been reading up on this and I guess it is normal. She is starting a new journey. Hopefully it will get better when she goes to college even though I am not ready for an empty nest. I guess that is why I am filling my “nest” with more and more webkinz rooms. I am constantly emptying them and rearranging to make more sense of the layout. We had many medium rooms and they are useless. I feel your pain moms – eternal wants. Well I am off to try to put together her corsage for prom. Will be viewing youtube how to videos and hoping and praying she likes the end result. Wish me luck.

    Bought my young son a lil kinz basset hound at a local fruit store. He loved it. We played together for a while. Even my husband would get excited about buying the POTM every month. Then my baby got older and lost interest. He’s 15 now and on to bigger and better video games. Like gaga I didn’t grow with him lol. Now I play our account. I have 11 others but I don’t keep up on them. They are mostly just used to ship things back to my main account. I just last night reached 300 pets! Exciting benchmark for me. I would have many more, however my husband now frowns on me buying so many. I normally go to the Tuesday Morning store a couple of times a month and look for new ones. I hide them in my car till I can sneak them in. I’m bipolar so often the real world is a bit much for me. I like my simple life of working, sleeping, and playing webkinz. Cute pets make me happy lol

    Good morning! Welcome to all of our new friends! I have played Webkinz since 2009. I do not have children, but I was a Pre-K teacher for years and another teacher got me hooked. I own/have access to 14 accounts, but really only “maintain” one. I log in daily, but rarely have time for much more. My account is such a mess! I have somewhere around 300 unique plush pets. (I just moved 13 totes of them into storage.) I have been trying to construct a list to determine which ones that I have for sure so that I stop buying duplicates. Many of my plush pets have not yet even been adopted! It will get done someday! Right now my husband needs my attention in expanding our business. So that takes a lot of time!
    I love this game! And the way I look at it – I’ll take this addiction over ALL others. RIGHT?!

    My account was started in 2014 and my two kids started their accounts in 2008. We hardly bought anything for the first couple of years and missed all of the older holidays. I have 15 pets on my account and 45 rooms.

    Hello my Friends, I see everyone is sharing a bit about themselves & Webkinz. So here I go! 😆

    I had a stroke in 2003 and could no longer work, I found myself playing different games on my son’s computer & as my youngest got older she found Webkinz & we started playing together. I opened my main account in 2009. I have 438 pets & too many rooms to count, I have also inherited a few accounts & opened 2 more. So I now have 6 accounts & sometimes keep care of 7 other accounts LOL
    The only other person in my family that still plays is luvallsoulz. She is more of a lurker on here & does not post very often. Mimzy I am also a Breast Cancer Survivor since 1998. 😀 I have some depression issues that come alone with strokes & Webkinz also helps me with that. I visit Gymbo’s everyday but I don’t always post & due to an illness I was diagnosed with about a year ago, I have good & bad days & I can not allows read all the posts & sometimes my posts might not make much sense LOL. But I still consider Gymbos & Webkinz my home away from home! & I have met the best of Friends here. 😀

    I think that may have been one of my longest post! Well off to WW now! 😀

    i am iso counter stools to replace ours at the kitchen counter, and it sounds simple, but dh wants some that are warthog proof, plus our counter doesn’t have a huge cantilever, so these big stools are not going to fit

    it’s proving much more challenging than i expected

    We have a tall kitchen table so have to use counter chairs but we have actual padded chairs and probably not Warthog proof. The cats/Kat both the four and two legged versions have been rough on them.

    Hi Mimzy, welcome.

    Started on Webkinz back in February 2007. My older daughter, then 8 and now 18 and also graduating from high school this year, came home after Christmas break talking about these stuffed animals some of the kids got for Christmas. She wanted one. Took me awhile to find any they were sold out after the holidays. Her first was a Unicorn. I also had a two year old daughter now 12. I was apparently playing on her account too much at night to earn her KC so they bought me a Gorilla and a little kinz Chihuahua for Mother’s Day. My younger daughter started her account that October and had to have all of the Halloween furniture which since she was three I had to earn all the KC for. I have 7 accounts of my own and have 7 others I take care of and share. My older girl mostly only plays the occasional game and helps out with the challenges. She was playing Amazing World more the last couple of years but seems to have lost interest in that as well. My younger daughter mostly only wants to adopt pets and decorate rooms. I log in and do the wheels and any daily activities that hour on all the accounts most days I play. I have around 260 webkinz on my main account and a lot of rooms. Other than when I need to adopt a pet I only decorate on the main one. Then the girls two main accounts have 71 and 104. My other accounts have around ten pets and the ones I help with vary. A couple of their friends that also only play everyone once in a while have me grabbing stuff for them. We have a lot of un adopted pets, we tend to adopt when a pet fits a theme or a room we are decorating. I met Gymbo on a different webkinz blog just after the 2007 fall leaf fest when I was looking to trade leaf prizes. She told me she was starting up a blog and I ended up helping her with it.

    I just turned one of my newer accounts the one with all the reindeer over to a friend but he’s a nurse and barely has enough time to play games a couple times a week so he won’t be visiting the blog. I made him and his best friend a pirate room with all the in room games this weekend. His friend’s favorite book as a kid was Peter Pan. So I dressed one of the reindeer as close to Peter as I could manage then another as a pirate. I got an email a few hours later that he deleted one of the beds and help how do you put it back. So I’ve co opted a couple more middle aged men into Webkinz. I am hoping he stays relatively clueless to the store and doesn’t find the estore he really likes stuffed animals and if he starts buying his own pets his pseudo mom who I was friends with first will be ready to wring my neck. 🙂

    Wow everyone thanks for sharing all this wonderful info about yourselves. I will get around to friendind all of you soon, but so busy with prom stuff, dress altering, corsage making, and getting blamed for anything and everything that goes wrong. Living with my elderly parents who are set in their ways just as my daughter and I are going through this rough patch is difficult. My own mom can’t help but get involved. Still, love and patience is alll I ask for and peace. Playing Webkinz helps. I have begun to think that God made teenagers rebellious and downright difficult to deal with so that it would be eassier for us parents to send them off. However, my doughter and I were always in sync and it just feels weird. That is why I am so overjoyed to have found you all. Those of you have have health issues, are bipolar, have grown kids or no kids, those who have had a health crisis, and those Peter Paners who don’t want to grow up (I am like that too btw) I am so glad to meet you 🙂 I told moms that I an not tech savy so you probably won’t get pics from me and I may ask dumb stuff, but please bare with me. My brain is a bit scattered/foggy maybe menopause, or whatever, but I will try to keep up with you all – though I doubt I will ever be able to adopt that many plushie pets. But I get the addiction, they are so cute and hard to resist!!!! Anyway, thanks again for being so open. I will try to post here as often as I can but if you don’t hear from me, it may be because my stupid computer quit. You see I inherited the desktop my ex hubby built and ever since I updated to Windows 10 anniversary my computer reboots all the time and now Chrome is freezing up on me (My ex refuses to help). SO FRUSTRATING! I will get a new computer soon (saving up), but honestly, change is hard for me becasue of all the changes that have already occured to me physically, environmentally, maritally (is that a word) etc. I hate change, but change is coming for me and the biggest change is that I will have to return to the workforce after a 19 year absence. So scary to think of starting over. I should have gone back to work when I got separated/divorced, but procrastination/avaoidance has been my go to. Soooooo, advice, encouragement and understanding that is what I need – Oh and I need to open the Mystery Bag too – LOL. Will try to get to that tonight and tell you about it. Talk to you soon.

    Going prom dress shopping with OD, her girl friend, the girl friend’s older sister and I wouldn’t be surprised YD insists on coming too this weekend. Both the prom girls are less than enthused about the idea of fancy dress shopping. I figure they will end up in what their sisters tell them to get. Wish us luck. When I finally gave up pestering OD to set a shopping day up and directly texted her girl friend she asked since prom wasn’t for awhile could they wait for Robotics season to be over first. States isn’t until the middle of April. I laughed then texted back we should of gone last month. Don’t have to deal with corsages her girl friend is taking care of those, she likes stuff like that makes and sells bracelets.

    I love hearing everyone’s stories. Here is mine in a nutshell…
    I have 2 girls 15 and 14.. less than a year apart, married 20 yrs and I work full time as an Optometric Assistant. I do not have breast cancer but carry the gene and am the only female in my family who hasn’t been diagnosed with it yet. My aunt, sister and grandmother were diagnosed in their 30s, my other aunt and mom later on. I do rotate between doctors, mris and mammograms every 3 months to screen.
    I got my first Webkinz Christmas Day 2012. It was a pug.. a dog I have always wanted in real life. I have been addicted ever since. I only have about 30 Webkinz on my main account but I do have “feeder” accounts and 2 accounts I inherited from my daughters. I try to log onto my main account daily.
    I log onto this blog daily and it is my main source of information on WW. I would miss out on so many things without these amazing people!!

    Happy Wednesday! I love getting to read a little bit about all of you. I’m a college student and fall outside of the typical age of most webkinz players. Besides being a full time student, I’m a lifeguard and swim instructor and also a volunteer puppy raiser for an organization that trains service dogs. I’m usually stressed and busy with school and I use webkinz as my little escape from adult responsibilities. I’m not much for the whole college party seen so I usually have so free time when my friends are all going out and that’s usually when I get the chance to play. I have about 7 accounts that I maintain but only two are my main accounts. I absolutely love room designing so its my favorite part of the game. I think that basically sums me up.

    Shorty no need to send any return gifts! I’ve had those chairs sitting in a storage room for months now and had yet to figure out a good use for them. Glad someone else has a use for them!

    Hey everyone! I have a feeling this post will close soon but I really loved reading everyone’s stories, so I guess I’ll share mine.

    I started playing WW when I got a bulldog and a rabbit for my 10th birthday. I played actively throughout middle school but decided I should stop in high school, so I took a 2-3 year hiatus. During my senior year of HS, I found that I had more free time and picked up WW again because it reminded me of when I was young, innocent, etc. Like littlefish, I am now in college (second year) and I still play, but I find it hard to find time to get on every day. I do make sure to play at least on the weekends, and I try my best to keep up with challenges and events.
    I have 2 main accounts, 4 medium sized accounts, and many many more “feeder” accounts that just do the challenges and get log in prizes so that I have extra to share for those who missed. And like TLL, I also have an entire account dedicated to just Harry Potter characters/rooms, which I hope to work on more this summer. My favorite thing about WW is making rooms, but unfortunately those take up a lot of time.
    Even though I don’t post that often, I read the blog almost every day and during the holidays I’m on & posting all the time. Other stuff… I study computer science, I’m training for a marathon, and I like to cook!

    The blog has been here for me through some really tough times.
    My hubby has bladder cancer and her was in the hospital for months after they removed his bladder. The people here were always supportive and loving and I will never forget it.

    KinzGramatheart: Cancer sucks, I pray everyday for a cure. Ny best friend lost her battle last September and left behind two beautiful daughters, but I have to remind myself that there is a plan and reason for all of this. I will keep your hubby in my prayers.

    Boper what is TLL? Also, could you or Loopy post a photo of one of your favorite Harry Porrter themed rooms – I will be jealous but will aspire to someday build one of my own. How do I create a wish list? See I told you I would ask dumb questions.
    Lee-Ann so sad that you carry the BC gene, but glad you are on top of things. I hope your daughters did not get it. BC is a crazy thing, they always warn about having had a mom w/ it etc. but in the end it all comes down to it starting with someone, so I guess all women should be cautious. I don’t carry the gene and I was the first in my family.
    I am so happy Spring is here. It always cheers me to hear birdies building nests and raising chicks and it is a reminder of new beginnings.
    Very excited to see the Easter prizes, and challenges. Loopy how do you get all the inside scoop? It is amazing. I included two accounts above you can friend me on, I have not gotten around to adding any of you, but will do soon.
