Happy New Year
I only made it until 11:30 but I still got to see our fireworks. Canada is celebrating 150 in 2017 so the capital paid extra money to cities across Canada for extra fireworks and the catch was that every city had to set off the fireworks at midnight Ontario time. So we had our fireworks at 9pm and I can watch them from my front porch so I didn’t have to fight the cold and crowds. The countdown in New York just didn’t appeal to me this year. Too many young performers that I don’t know so I fell asleep. Oops!
I like the giraffe and the pit bull puppy is cute too.
I did go on my Asian accounts yesterday and also received the snowball pile. Nice glitch.
I want to finish buying the Victorian Christmas theme so I will get a pack of cookies with spend 20 event. I am always open to sharing extras.
Speaking of food, what does everyone do for New Year’s Day dinner?

Momz – if you’d like, i could probably send you the account info by the end of the week. Like i said, i’d like to go through it a bit first and pull some of the more valuable stuff out of storage, off pets, etc. to make things a little easier for you. I haven’t been on it in a while, but i still have a general idea of where some of the stuff is. Not sure when i’ll be able to fit in time for that because i’m working mon-thur, but i don’t go back to school until next week, so hopefully i’ll be able to do that by the end of the week.

Happy New Year Gymbonians!
Anyone needs winterfest prizes, then hit me up. Since the snowflakes were flying so fast and furiously, I collected them on every account, which is something I never do, so I’m positively swimming in extra prizes. The ice tile seems to be the most common prize, since I got 17 of them, and the pile of snowballs seems to be tied with the ice skates as the least common prize, as I only got 5 of each. And I still have piles of winterfest from previous years, so ask and ye shall receive. 😉
Anyone know if there will be an opportunity for free winterfest cookies? I’m not shelling out a dime for them if we can get them for free.

Also, do you have any idea how people are getting lawn gnomes that are green or light blue? I’ve been seeing them in other players’ yards and I could swear that the lawn gnome from the crafting table only comes in one color, and I don’t think it’s enhanceable.

I think that I got the least of the walls that go around the ice skating rink. The uncommon PAN items don’t seem that hard to get. I did the PAN on 14 accounts 2 times. I already got the uncommon sofa and the uncommon garnet window.

Hi everyone. Thank you all for the kind words about my house. I LOVE to decorate but it does take me a while.. usually a couple hours at night after work. My DD is doing well and will be able to return to school when it starts back up next Monday.
I love how fast the flakes fall but wonder if it is a glitch that will be changed tomorrow??
We had a quiet New Years with our two girls.. played games and then watched the countdown on tv.. then went to bed at 12:05(I’m too old to stay up late).
Tonight we had fondue for dinner.. beef tenderloin, pork tenderloin, chicken breast, shrimp, sweet potato, canned baby potatoes, canned baby corn, onions, peppers, cauliflower, zucchini, mushrooms and I made 4 dipping sauces to go with it. Needless to say we were all fat and happy!
Tempted to get that giraffe.. wanted the fawn, hesitated and then it was gone. Will have to consider it.

TLL – when you complete a peek, enter the info & get the congrats screen, try clicking the back button on your browser once, let it reload, then start looking again – sometimes you can find the zebra again & get the prize with finding just one more & do that at least for a few accounts

Darn sorry to see they slowed down the snowflakes. I did all the accounts the first day haven’t had time the last two going to log in and do a few now.
I did the PAN that day too opened a few. Mostly the yellow hat and there was a purple rug.
All I’ve managed on the cards was about half of series one so far.
Emails and writing took up all my computer time yesterday. We almost finished another chapter. Getting close to 80,000 words. Thank goodness I don’t need to edit it for posting.

KG yes I bought one box of each online last month as part of my birthday present.
I’ve been writing a story with a friend online for almost a year it is just for fun. Another friend is reading it. The person who I write with is shy so she doesn’t want to post it on any of the free story sites which is just as well because as I said glad we don’t have to edit it. She is British so there are spelling differences and one main character is British and the other American we did this to make it easier but since we often write the other person’s character they end up sounding different. It is confusing but also fun running into words the other one has different meanings for. It is basically a romance. The American character inherits a business and home from an Uncle and ends up falling in love with the youngest member of his Uncle’s sort of adopted family that helped him run his Art Gallery in the Lake District in England. It was interesting doing research on the area for the story. She has vacationed there. There are several other characters from both sides. Mostly written the British family. The main British character has two brothers, parents and two nephews one 12 and a 2 year old. One brother is married but his wife hasn’t been introduced yet.

I know a couple of people who have and I have access to three different social groups online that would likely buy it, there isn’t that much available in the niche market we are writing to but neither of us has any interest. We write specifically to the tastes of our audience of one. We’d have to write differently we spent 60,000 words on the first three days of their acquaintance, It is more of a continuing serial. No end point. If we were going to post it we would just put it out there online for free on another friend’s blog anyway. I’ve written a few short stories for her. My writing is alright when I am not rushing and I have someone else to use as a foil. I know how to make something publishable but it takes way more work than I am willing to put in. I have no illusions I could manage to write something for the mainstream market if nothing else I’d get bored half way through and never finish.
