Ummm im not sure my mom knows how to celebrate christmas…. i have bad allergies and all she wants to do today is clean (she whines alot when she does too), which yes i understand may help in the long run, but for today and tomorrow i will have sneezing fits which is the worst timing she could ever have.
I don’t mean to be ungrateful, but seriously i thought the cleaning would end yesterday. It just makes the whole house frustrated. Every time i try to explain she just gets mad sooo idk. The house isn’t even that badly off.

taking a break for a few minutes……..got white bean dip done, fruit tray, pioneer woman streusel French toast prepped and streusel topping made. Cut the cheese! ha ha ha ha ha

gonna do this hot dog wrapped in bacon covered in brown sugar and cayenne thing that my bros do…………dh saw what dd is making for Christmas and now wants ham…………thankfully me being me, I have a ham in the garage fridge………….goober……feel like I am forgetting something….
oh yeah,,,,,,,,,,,my neighbor brought me some fudge! I told her much thanks and how much I have been wanting fudge! of course I am wearing no makeup and my Detroit redwings housewear as I have been cooking and cleaning all day……oh well…….

Hubby and I are both sniffling from cleaning yesterday but no cleaning today. We went to MIL for Christmas eve dinner/gift exchange. They are going to Italy this summer again this time YD is going as well so it was a suit case for YD and special walking shoes for the flat footed hubby. Gifts are under the tree just getting a last load of laundry done. I’ve only sent out a few of my planned Gymbo gifts just finished the webkinz X challenges under the wire this morning. Have to double check what the girls have before I send to make sure they are actually duplicates. Hoping the cards as I get them in will yield some items as well.

microwave popcorn popper? can’t u just put kernels in a paper bag and get the same result??? 🙂 i got great gifts! dh had this big huge box for me, and i didn’t have a clue, looked like it could be a big piece of art or something, but it was this really cool chair swing thing – oh my goodness, i told him i want to take a nap in it and could we put in the house for the winter hahaha
now he has to assemble 😀

the baby was adorable this morning…only two bows missing off of gifts…dh opened his first present…..it is one of them cubes that collapse that they can sit it……oh my word! he freaked! running in, running out, running in and scooting it across the floor, running back out…………we were all laughing so hard………never saw such a happy kitty! and then he got some crinkle toys but nothing compares to that cube!

this is what I made for this morning………I have never been a fan of these overnite French toasty things, but this one is just wonderful. no squish!
we have tried variations, dh liked them , but not me……just the squish and some had cream cheese too………….but wowza……..so we have a new family ish recipe………….dd ate pop tarts and chips as she got up at noon……ha haha

I spent some time with my family as well as my boyfriend’s family. Everyone liked the gifts I got them. Even the cat liked her gift, which is good because she already ripped it open twice this week when i accidentally left it sitting out. She also ripped open my other cat’s gift, the little brat.

Momz- My cat is a teen now, she’ll be 14 in a few months! She’s turning into a crabby old lady. I also have a kitten (well, kitten sized cat) who lives at my bf’s house and she is a little demon.

Re #3.. the most unique gift I received was as a small girl back when Cabbage Patch Kids were theâ€it†toy for Christmas. They were sold out everywhere in Canada and of course it is what I had asked Santa for that year. A co-worker of my dad’s had a family member(from Mexico) make/sew/knit a pretty close look a like with a Mexican flare and had it shipped to me for xmas. I still have that doll more than 30 years later. I treasure that someone went so above and beyond for me, a complete stranger.
