December looks busy!
December starts on Thursday, and there is a lot to know about December.
The December Webkinz are a Spaniel Pup & Rascally Raccoon. December’s POTM is the American German Shepherd, while January’s POTM is the Zig Zag Zebra.
Here is a summary of the December Webkinz Activities. (I will add another post with details about these events.)
The December Peek A Newz prizes include one New item – the Lavender Swirls Wallpaper – in the Common prize pool & the following Rare prizes: Magnificent Antique Wardrobe, Jolly Holly Bed, Festive Feast Dining Table, Captured Criminal Chamber.
Last year’s Home for the Holidays room theme will be for sale in the Mobile Zone section of the W-Shop on the Webkinz Mobile app.

I also like the idea of knowing what is going to retire. But I also don’t want old exclusives to be re-introduced. I like the rarity of them now.. Of course I wouldn’t be saying that if I didn’t have them. They would probably be very expensive though. I am guessing it will be a close race between Quack and Amanda. I don’t like the idea of Dex as a mayor… and I don’t really need more adventure park packs.. I have to finish the ones I have now. And having 2 on each account would be more of a chore than an adventure. And I don’t even remember what Salley’s campaign was, but the fact that I can’t remember it probably means it wasn’t any good.

I see what you mean about value but I don’t trade on the game and there are a few things I missed on there now. I don’t have a big stock pile of tokens because I didn’t play for a few years so knowing when something was about to leave would be good. I am only missing two adoption exclusives the red lava and the red plasma. Doubt those are what they mean by bringing back retired exclusives. It would be kind of nice for the oldest ones to come back because I expect most that existed are gone or on archived accounts.
I don’t make recipe food very often so Quack doesn’t appeal to me much.
Sally is reducing the number of days it takes to get a recess to 10. I rarely get the time to do the academy but I guess I would rather have that then more recipes. I would play the adventures eventually but they are one of those sort of fun sort of annoying aspects.

I’m going to vote for Amanda. Not because I need any exclusive (because I don’t!), but so that others get the chance to get every exclusive without jumping through the hoops I had to jump through to get them. I don’t care a whit if the values go down, because I don’t trade by values anyway. I mean, who determines those values? Some small committee of people make the decision and then make the rest of us follow suit…no thanks!
Besides, in my experience, new trumps old in the trading room. If you walked in there with the newest promo, you could get the oldest exclusive without breaking a sweat. π

momsk, how many trees do you decorate? Are they all indoor or do you decorate outdoor ones too? Different themes for each one? My tree is sitting in my living room still in its box, waiting for me to play my traditional pop music CD of holiday songs over and over until the tree is decorated. DD begs me to stop the CD after the 2nd or 3rd repetition, but alas, stringing lights Martha-Stewart-style on the tree takes time π

Since the voting wasn’t up last night/early this morning and I was busy until after 10 pm I didn’t get to vote annoyed, although from the sound of things it didn’t matter much.
Finished the deluxe challenges just under the wire. Won the dragon egg trophy a couple of days ago only took one more try.
Poor Dee that sounds miserable I haven’t been that congested in awhile. I go for a combo of saline nasal spray, sudafed (the pseudoephedrine HCl you have to use id to get) and guaifenesin. The sudafed keeps me awake but the guaifenesin makes me really sleepy so they tend to counter balance each other or at least I can usually still sleep. Only problem no driving a car after taking those and you need to drink a lot of water.

i am so very happy! all of my trees are up & beautiful & worth all the hard work this year! π i did the opposite of gramma, trees first, so after dusting today, I can do nativity, musical things, etc. that sit around tomorrow & this weekend
we have our huge tree, then four 6-8 ft trees, a pencil tree (so skinny!) , & I think six 4 ft trees & a little lighted tree on the kitchen counter …

Wow, I’m impressed by the number of trees that you all decorate!! Your homes sound wonderfully festive with all the trees and decorations!! π
Every year, our city has a Festival of Trees as a hospital fundraiser as do many cities across Canada. Fully decorated trees are displayed and auctioned off as one of the festival events. Some of the trees are incredibly creative and amazing – I remember seeing a hockey themed tree made out of hockey sticks and gear, Santa tree made from red and white garland and tulle … there was even a tree that looked just like the Webkinz Christmas tree dress!

I am making a Christmas Tree farm type of room and need input. The room isn’t even close to being done but I am a little stuck.
Which fence should I use? The new brown one? Or the white one from fall fest?
Also, I am looking for tools to put into the room. Things like saws, shovels, pickaxes, whatever. I am pretty sure Webkinz has never made a “saw” item, but can anyone think of other tools?

a bit concerned about kitty. she seems depressed, which breaks my heart. unless it’s the antibiotic making her sleepy? she’s a pistol getting it down her, a two people job; one to hold, one to use piller to get it in her mouth, then hold mouth closed, rubbing throat, giving kisses, telling her what a good girl she is. we go back to get stitches out Monday.
