Afternoon folks!
I think there might be a problem with the new mail system and party packs. Since there are new loot bag prizes, I bought two party packs and sent out invites to my own accounts as usual. (I can often get five loot bags per party this way!) The only problem is, in the new mail system, there’s no way to respond to a party invitation that I’ve found. So if one cannot respond to a party invitation, will the party icon even show up? I will find out about 1:30 or so, lol.
Dr. Quack’s platform is pretty weak. I will wait to see what the other campaigners have to offer. If Amanda Panda offers more opportunities for wish tokens in light of the new exclusives controversy, I bet she wins in a heartbeat lol.
For those of you who were disappointed that the gingerbread theme didn’t win the last few theme elections on WKN, take heart. And that’s all I am going to say on that mysterious subject…
Out of a huge amount of accounts (I’m embarrassed to say how many!), I got two Dr. Quack plushes. TWO. Everything else was hats, hats, hats. Grrrr…

TheLoopyLurker, your account gets a notification about the party via kinzpost. You don’t accept/confirm the invitation at that time. Shortly before the party is about to start, you will see a “go to party” type of button (like before).

Yup, you don’t even have to open the party invitation any more, the party button just appears in your room. So I did two parties, and I got two of the new balloons and one snow globe (which, major YAY because I collect snow globes!) but none of the new Blanche plushy. I’m doing some more parties tonight so I hopefully will get a plushy or two. I did get two Mr. Moo plushies, so I’m not complaining.
I’m considering throwing a party or two on the account I use for trading, and was wondering if any Gymbonians want to come to a party. If you do, please make sure QueenieB15 is on your phone, and let me know what day/time works best for you. This way we can all get that adorable snow globe (which, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to be animated yet!). Does Kinzchat+ still work for parties? If so, I can upgrade the party to KC+ because I enabled it for that account.
