    last winter, some counties lost three weeks of school, so this year, they have packets and internet classes to do if school is closed….not us….altho dds math teacher tweeted out a homework assignment earlier today….

    dh is feeling punky, so I went out to get wood…snow is up to my knees…..and still coming down……not really cold tho….

    we are good, power, beef stew, a lovely fire………the birds were coming on the back porch earlier, so I put a little bowl of seed out……..very good catertainment…………altho someone thinks they are truly Russian and went out and about for a half hour!…………watching galaxy quest….never seen it, never heard of it, but there are actual stars in it!
    dds field trip has now been bumped to Tuesday………hooray….supposed to be 40s on Monday, so just flooding then………

     Symptoms of a Broken Finger

In the meantime, be sure to stabilize an injured finger by creating a makeshift splint if you don’t have a medical one (many flat household items can be used for a makeshift splint, such as a pen). Ice Packs are a good remedy to tame swelling and over-the-counter medicine can help reduce pain.

     dee – still can be broken – i’ve broken fingers, unless it’s way out of whack (that’s the medical term i learned in med school 😛 ), they would only brace or tape it … i suggest icing it max 15 minutes every hour and taping it to the finger next to it

     I remember as when i was around five, something was wrong with one of my fingers. I dont remember what it was but i dont think it was broken. I did end up having two fingers taped together for a while tho.

     I am currently buried under two feet of snow and don’t plan to leave the house until mid-March. Sending virtual back muscles to anyone else who has to dig themselves out of this mess!

     I managed to get a piano from my cookies, but I mostly got clothing. I put together two complete ice princess outfits and one ice prince outfit for the kids. I have had these clothes for years (got them in the crackers way back when) so I had no use for more lol.

     dee – ouch on the finger! What they generally do for broken fingers is to tape them to the adjacent fingers with perhaps a splint around the broken one so it can’t bend. Hopefully yours is not broken! I’d say “fingers crossed” but that’s kind of like I’m rubbing it in your face, hee hee! Seriously, I hope things turn out well for you.

     cwc, I got four tiaras. I traded one in the trading room to get the ice prince crown for the kids, gave two to the kids, and still have one left over. Maybe I was just really lucky? If you need a tiara, I will send you mine.

     I don’t know if I can post a wish list. The email I use here is not registering with the board for some reason, so I can’t start a post, which bums me out because I really want to do a contest to thank you all for everything. I don’t know that I’d have much of a wish list anyway, as I have most everything in WW and spend more time giving stuff away than getting stuff.
