Didn’t make it on the computer until 11:30 pm today. Spent the half hour frantically trying to get the frozen chairs and at least spin the wheels on the deluxe accounts then came on here and found out about Paris. Dh didn’t say anything about it. Going to have to tell YD before she goes back to school on Monday so she doesn’t get blind sided, so thank you I might not of even known about it to warn her.

Any of you lovely ladies know if the Daisy Diner extender pack furniture that we got in our e-mail from the eStore is kinzpostable? I got my code but I’m not sure which account to put it on and if I change my mind I don’t want to find that the furniture is stuck there. Thanks in advance!
I have gotten three overalls, piles of dresses, 5 apple baskets, and more food than I can count for the apple event. Anyone needs a dress or some food, let me know and it’s yours for free. All but one of the Daisy Diner extender pack furniture is kpostable (I believe the microwave is the one that isn’t). To be safe, you ought to pick the account carefully.
Dresses and food are the most plentiful for me too (I’m playing on 9 accounts).
The floating 10s are random – saw a few last night and earlier so they haven’t stopped.
Blue floating boxes are giving out animated grass in Asia but ONLY ON CANADIAN ACCOUNTS.

Good morning! Since nobody came to hold my hand last night and tell me what a “tunnel bear” is, I Googled it. π I managed to get it downloaded, etc., but didn’t see a single floater that wasn’t an evil fairy or an apple. Anybody have lots of experience with getting this app to play nicely with the other children? I looked at the troubleshooting page on Tunnelbear, and made sure I was in Canada, etc. I’ve already burned 50 MB of free bandwidth so I don’t want to keep messing with it, since I’m cheap and don’t want to pay for bandwidth! π

Wow those lightening bug squares are soooooo darn cute. I googled tunnel bear but I am so technically challenged (actually don’t have the wherewithal to figure it out) I will just go to the trade room and see if anyone is trading and what price they put on them.
I was hoping that maybe Ganz would find it in their heart and since it is Thanksgiving, give the NA accounts an unexpected gift of allowing us to chase the Dinos. LOL I know wishful thinking.
I love the new pegasus but am not willing to spend $99.00 just to get her along with points. I wish she was the pet you get when you get an annual deluxe account since my main account deluxe is going to expire Wednesday. I really don’t want the 10 year cat. I do need to renew but maybe I can find someone who wants the cat and has a neato pet that might suit my fancy. LOL.
I tried out the park and Wow, it is so much faster than it has been. My little blue bear just zips all over the place. I am pleased.

zingy, thanks for the links, but my computer doesn’t have any sensors installed at all. I already did all those steps two days ago. This is why I’m banging my head against the wall. π And I have my browser configured such that absolutely no information is shared at all…I have requested that sites not track me, I use tracking protection, I use private browsing, I have my history set to “remember no history”, etc. Oh well, guess I will be missing out on this promotion for now. I’m sure the prizes will come up again, just like the Penguins of Madagascar prizes did, and that was initially a Canadian-only promotion. I will just have to summon up some of that little-exercised patience I have in my brain in a dark, neglected corner. π
On a positive note, you guys remember my rant about Webkinz X and my poor hunchbacked hummingbird who was flying through the Kinzville Park at the speed of molasses? Well, she’s still a hunchback, but at least she’s a fast hunchback now! Progress! Maybe someday all my estore items will appear in my rooms and work as promised! I can only dream… π

ZOMG GWEEEEEENDAAAAAA! I could KISS you! This little phrase: “google search for webkinz” was the key that unlocked Canada! I figured out what was blocking me from being a Canadian…I was using a bookmarked link for Webkinz. When I opened my browser and searched in Ixquick for “Webkinz” and opened WW from there, I had boxes flying left, right, and sideways!! Well, actually, they were only flying from the right, but, you know… π I am now the proud owner of 16 lightning bugs and grass, and as a bonus, I got 8 Yo-Kai Watch boxes too and got 2150 KC worth of coins. I’m flipping out here! I’m Canadian!
Okay, so here is how to make Tunnelbear work in Firefox then!
1) Make sure third-party ads are enabled on your Webkinz accounts. To do this, click on the “Parents” link at the top of the Webkinz home page and then click on “Parent Log-in”. Log in with your account name, password, and e-mail. If you haven’t yet set up a parent account for your Webkinz account, type your Webkinz account name, password, and the e-mail you want to use to authorize changes. It will tell you that you haven’t confirmed the e-mail yet…don’t panic! Click the “Reset” button and you will be able to enter your information again to set up the account. Ganz will send a confirmation e-mail to you, so make sure you open that e-mail and click the link in it. Once your account is confirmed, return to the Parent Log-in, sign in, and click the link for third-party advertisements.
2) Make sure your location sensor is turned off/disabled.
Windows 7: Push “Start”, type “sensor” in search box, click “Location and Other Sensors”, click the box next to the sensor to disable, click “Apply”
Windows 8: Push “Start”, type “sensor” in search box, click “Change Location Settings”, click the box next to “Location Platform” and “Location Services”, click “Apply”
Windows 10: not sure you can disable location sensing, since Windows 10 is essentially a big open information highway from your computer to Microsoft. π
3) Make sure you have Firefox set to not track you. To do this, click on “Tools” on your Menu Bar, scroll down to “Options”, click on “Privacy”, and make sure the boxes are checked on “Request that sites not track you” and “Use tracking protection in private windows”.
4) Download and install Tunnelbear direct from their website, which is http://www.tunnelbear.com. If you desire privacy, use a non-essential e-mail address with this app. Disposable e-mails don’t work with Tunnelbear. I know because I tried! π
5) Turn on Tunnelbear and set the dial to Canada. Open a browser window. Type https://bearsmyip.com/ in the address box and verify that you are, in fact, now a Canadian.

Actually when I get off my lazy backside and make the post I have a pet code from Halloween for a comment contest. Everyone seemed busy and then I haven’t been feeling real great lately so it didn’t happen. I planned on having it in the space between the Halloween and apple floaties. It will happen soonish but Lonely is welcome to do her’s first. Lonely you could look back through the old contests for ideas. You can require a certain number of comments or require a certain phrase or just put up a post with the prize listed and do a random number generation from all the comments on the post. Zingy suggested I do it on a weekend. In the past I emailed codes to Momskinz to forward. For webkinz postable items just require they add the user name/names you will be sending from to be a participant.

I have a Columbia rain jacket that I got on clearance from a Fred Meyer store in AK………they are a wonderful store if anyone ever gets a chance to shop in them……..It is one that hits mid thigh……..lots of rain proof pockets, good hood and pit vents………..I have had it for probably 12 yrs…..LOVE IT
not fashionable, but as I wore it on campus past the squishy wet kids, worked wonderful.
I was looking at ll beans site earlier…………they have some cute reasonable stuff……….I would give her my old air force gortex but it is camo and she is not into camo

dee, I *am* a hiker, and let me tell you, do not buy a cheap rain jacket. You might pay a bit more for a decent brand, but it will save you a lot of ruined clothes and bad hair days. Everyone in my family hikes and we all seemed to settle on a different brand of jacket. I love my Marmot jacket, my kids have North Face, and Mr. Lurker swears by Columbia. They all do the job well. We were hiking at the Pine Creek Gorge last year and it rained to beat the band. The storm we hiked through was like the wrath of God, but we were bone dry. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, try the campmor website. They have discontinued name brand merchandise that is significantly cheaper than buying the name brands at REI or EMS or Amazon. A bonus of buying a hiker’s rain jacket is that they usually are able to be packed down inside a pocket, usually the left pocket. You can tell if it’s packable in the pocket by seeing if there is a zipper inside the pocket. This way your dd can toss in in her backpack or glove box of the car, etc. Mine packs down so small I keep it in my purse. π I can tell you from personal experience that the Marmot brand runs really small. If you go with Marmot, you might want to order a size larger than she usually wears.
Whichever brand you get, make sure it has side vents. Because these jackets are water repellent, it gets really steamy inside, so the side vents keep you cooler. And try to get one that has a drawstring hood so she can tighten it around her face and keep rain from leaking under the collar.

I finished mine, the girls didn’t but we have a fair amount of silver and some gold so they can finish up. I am buying fences to fence in my castle. I still need to finish the fish one and one other I think. I have Christmas done and the zings. I haven’t adopted them all but I have almost all the zings and the hamsters now. We got a couple of the big collections for a gifts, valentines and mother’s day.

The free accounts don’t look any different than the regular accts, we can’t do anything on them in terms of extra dailies, but the apples still float, the ads still pop up everywhere. I’m throwing in the towel again for now I’ve used up almost all my tunnel bear time except for a little bit of it. And I got the extra free 1G for sending the tweet as well. So it’s either go get the sledgehammer or clean my house. I need somebody from Canada to just take over. LOL
