Not me I checked Woodbridge is at least four hours away. Now if they had something in the summer, we like going to other places in the area and I would of been able to talk dh into a trip to the science center with a swing by the sale.

Nope to far for me to justify going. Also, I always hear about the Cheesecake Factory but ive never been in one. Reminds me a bit of a spaghetti place my gymnastics team went to after a meet in Seattle. I wish i could have gone with them this year to Hawaii, but i doubt my parents would have let me go even if i was on the team still. Lol thats the way the ball rolls I suppose.

A Christmas Dragon isn’t the first pet that comes to mind for most holidays but … since they “made” it … I must have it!

fyi- silkes has regular food too……….so good spot for us if we are out gallivanting that way………and a hastings that has tons of webbies, but they want 14.99 for them! crazy talk

Dee soup wise there is the easy way which is get some good quality chicken stock (not Broth) the kind in the boxes not can I like Kitchen Basics. I usually use 2 parts chicken to 1 part vegetable stock. Get some boneless skinless chicken breasts and simmer in the stock until they are falling apart. Add a bag of frozen soup vegetables. Cook and keep the noodles separate, if you put them in with the stock they will get soggy. Just put the noodles in the individual bowls and put the soup on top.
The harder way is get some chicken legs or a whole chicken and cook in water or stock until close to falling apart. But then you need to separate the edible parts from the bone and skin. Which can take awhile. I would recommend having a mesh strainer. After you have the soup and the meat you can add either fresh or frozen vegetables of your choice. Fresh tastes better but it takes awhile to cut everything up in to small enough pieces and usually longer to cook. You can speed things up by cooking the vegetables separate either in the microwave or on the stove before adding them. You can add fresh or dried herbs and of course salt and pepper. Some herbs need to be removed before serving like bay leaf and fresh thyme. If you want to reduce the fat then you can put just the liquid from cooking the chicken in the frig and strain again after the fat solidifies. I would recommend at least celery and onion being added if you start with water.

thanks for the info…….I knew how to do stock (the real way)
but not really wanting to do all that……….may do a cheater way and just use bone in breasts………..we shall see

I can only wear Gloria Vanderbilt that I know of (kind of expensive to figure out if there are any others) due to the allergies and I usually get them at Costco and Meijer.

That’s fun Momskinz. We went and got pumpkins for carving today. Bought a necklace with a wolf picture carved in stone from a craft booth. We have a Historical Barn that runs farmer’s markets during the summer and has pumpkins, craft fair and pony rides during the fall. YD put some Halloween Clings on the front window on the 1st, we still had the spring stuff up.
I usually did the stock and boneless chicken version myself but I can’t use the stock anymore. When I made the roasted chicken the other day I boiled the leftover carcass so I would have a base for soup for myself.

pumpkins have started floating in WW in Asian accounts (every 6 minutes, 5 pumpkins max per account)
