i wanted to go deluxe this month so i can get another October gift box with that bed! however…i’m not “in love” with the cat. i wish it was one of the other deluxe pets from the past, that would seal the deal. but i also wanted to get the deluxe when it’s 25% off, or whatever special they do? idk…i wish the cat sparkled or something? something that made it deluxe worthy? am i the only one that feels like this?

I want the kitty but I think it is mostly because it goes with the dog. I prefer more realistic looking pets than sparkle but I get what you mean it is plain.
Poor Bob eye surgery too. Hope it goes well.
That’s OK about the deluxe day I am not going to call about something like that, it was my own fault for completely forgetting about it. I could of logged on real quick when I was helping YD with her cursive if I had remembered.
When I went in for the TB test read the nurse said if I needed there was a blood test they could do in the future instead of the injection since it cause the arthritis flare.

When we were working on the process for my dh to become a citizen he had to have a tb test … having been in the military he had had numerous tb shots so always tests positive on the skin test … they had him get an xray to prove he didn’t have tb.

dee, KFC has GOOD slaw! i like mine better…i don’t do measurements though, but it went something like 3-4 cps of slaw (i cut thin, shred & chop), 1/2 to 1 cup of mayo (to your taste i guess, i really don’t measure), squirt of mustard (not much, unless you like much), 3T sugar (i use more, bc i use more cabbage), 1 whole pickle shredded (i use claussen, bc their the best & also use 2 pickles), some of the pickle juice & some vinegar (1-3T) i think that’s it…i don’t have it written down. well, actually i might have the original somewhere? OH & i like to put fresh cracked pepper in it. YUMMY! sorry, this won’t do you any good now though. 😳

That was Dee making the ice cream cake, momskinz. I have made an ice cream pie before but not an ice cream cake. We just bought those. Since I don’t really like cake I only ever made dh grandma’s cake for special occasions. Devils food chocolate with butter cream frosting completely from scratch. I have made homemade ice cream sandwiches, chocolate chip with chocolate ice cream.

Hello My Friends, just dropped in to say Hi. I have surgery tomorrow morning, so most likely will not be on for a couple of days. I really like that Wing – Mobile it would look cool with my Vampire Kitten! I sure wish it was available until Halloween.

We saw the movie The Martian last Friday evening … it was pretty good though a little like a couple other Mars related movies … I’d like to read the book too.

Ended up reading the book that I got today instead of playing online. I spun the wheel on AW for the girls and myself and did one candy rush each and that was it. I finished the book so that is no longer a distraction. Yd is at camp so I could be lazy today. OD and DH were busy and not around much. It was mostly a sweet and funny romance but given the author’s fanfiction I shouldn’t of been surprised that it got a bit violent and bloody near the end. Her bad guys tend to get dispatched with extreme prejudice. Sounds like I should read the Martian book. DH has the Kindle version so I should be able to read it from our Amazon account.

just reading up…….dd had to do tb test for summer job…they do it by blood now as some world regions show positive due to dna………..which we did not know til health lady told us………

Oh vaccines, my old nemesis. Im not usually bothered by them but it bugged me when they decided to give me the chicken pox 2 vaccine twice because they had no record of me getting it the first time. And of course there has been a few that left bruises….xp also, if they offer you flu mist instead of the shot, its not worth it if your like me.

I already got my flu shot last month and was fine. Although I have had slight flu like symptoms that are not all that different from how I reacted to the TB test in the past so I am not sure if I would be able to tell the difference in the future. Both cause body aches and fatigue. Thanks Zingy for providing the links, that first one is what I had a small injection of solution just under the skin. I am still struggling with being lethargic and sore. It is hard to do anything other than sleep and read.
Hoping Shelly B is having a uneventful surgery this morning and a quick recovery.

FFQ and I got flu shots last Saturday … Walmart was doing a mini health fair … very mini … BOB paid for us to get the shots, FFQ had had a flu shot previously but I have never had one … neither of us had a reaction or flu like symptoms, thankfully … FFQ’s arm was sore but not mine …

have only been to olive garden once and the 3 items we ordered were just meh so haven’t been back. will try to remember to ask for the shrimp, if i ever go back
on the other hand, every thing we order from the cheesecake factory so far has been good – i highly recommend it not just for cheesecake but for the rest of the meal

OG is best for salad or soup & salad & breadsticks, but their chicken parm & that create your own combination of pasta, sauce, & shrimp is good – my dh can’t stand the place 😛
