worked on Chrome on a Windows 8 laptop after i downloaded unity player version 2.6
on my desktop (windows 7) i can get to it via firefox or IE

Question. So the older windows computer I have been trying to get running again has Windows Vista. They are offering windows 10 upgrade for free should I upgrade for running webkinz/hamsters and amazing world or is 10 bad for those. So far I haven’t been able to download Unity but that was because I think the version of Vista wasn’t advanced enough. I had some trouble getting the services packs to load but I got them on last night and this afternoon. It is currently updating 150 items and then I have to do 3 more optional ones which puts us at around 230 updates since I started messing with it. When those are done I can try Unity again. The version of Unity it sends me to for amazing world needs at least Vista 7/9. The latest Unity (the 5’s) don’t support Vista. But from comments I think I need to get version 2.6 for the hamsters? Then when hamsters are done if the darn thing works upgrade Unity a little for AW to run because I think it needs a higher level of unity than 2.6 now.

Oh and no I don’t have all the organizing/cleaning done for the appliances. My allergies flared yesterday due to various reasons and I don’t feel well enough right now so I figured I would work on the computer and challenges until I feel better. OD is gone to camp and YD picked up a virus from the little kids at her cousin’s b day party so no help right now anyway. I got the back room done except mopping the floor but the room leading into where the dryer goes still needs some work. I’ve done three runs to the laundry mat. Turns out there is a nice one very close to our house with decent hours. If it weren’t for the cost and cross-contamination of laundry soap I wouldn’t mind doing it all the time. It is actually faster, five big loads of laundry in little over an hour.

sorry ’bout yd being sick and all the work to get a new appliance, tmt.
don’t know if our washer is commiserating but a few nights ago, we smelled something like rubber burning after washing a heavy load. asked around and was told it’s our drum driver belt that needs to be replaced. hopefully it’s no more complicated than that.
i wouldn’t install windows 10 as it’s in beta right now and kinks aren’t worked out yet. on another site, i read of someone’s computer getting bricked by windows 10. another reverted from windows 10 back to whatever she had as her drive disappeared with windows 10 (it came back after she reverted). i’d wait at least 6 months before considering it. downloading it is fine, just don’t install.

i didn’t add raisins, substituted almond milk for milk, a banana for the apple and used a baguette that was a week old it was almost impossible to cut with a bread knife. i even forgot about the water bath and it still turned out great!

Zingy where did you get unity 2.6 from? I googled it but one just ended up being version 5, another I got a warning about so I didn’t download and the third I couldn’t even figure out where to click to get the unity given all the other stuff on the page. I think they were trying to trick you into downloading something other than what you were looking for.

I got hamsters to run on chrome on the windows vista machine. I have ad block on it. It is very slow not sure if I can play anything yet I came down to my computer while it is loading moolah mountain. Wanted to play a bit before trying the other thing. At the very least it looks like I can spend the 683 moolah I had earned in total before. Thanks for the help.

We had a belt replaced on our washer a long time ago and it was no big deal. It is still working 10 or more years later.
Hamsters is so slow to load on the old computer I was reading on my phone while waiting but I was able to play. The plug in kept not responding but if I just clicked no to closing it eventually things started working again. It was mostly fine once something was loaded. I got a twinkle ball gown from the key game, a garden gyroscope from finding flags in a challenge and turned in some moolah for walls, floor and picture. Hopefully I can play again but if not I am happy to have gotten some stuff. The balls in the maze didn’t work but I ran through a short one. I ended up adding ghostery as well. It seems to have cut down on the crashes a little.

I know why I wasn’t playing hamsters before, even now with how much better I am doing that game is rough on the hands. It doesn’t help I have to use an older, big key, key board like I would of had on my computer back then. My current one doesn’t take as much force to push keys. Allergies are still flared my mouth is itching like crazy, runny nose and watery eyes going to need some more bendryl but I feel some better otherwise.
One of our yard squirrels died, it was on the side of the driveway, YD found it first. Couldn’t see anything wrong with it other than a bit of missing fur. Figure it was sick or old age. She doesn’t seem too upset we have been feeding them for awhile and she has named most of them but it was a common brown one so kind of hard to tell which one it was.

you and yours are more than welcome to the squirrels here…..we have four black walnut trees next to us………..so lots of squirrels………they love to chew the wiring on dhs pick up truck…….and they also make nests in the phone boxes, so folks lose their telephones (we be old school land liners in this subdivision)
