Vote for a New Halloween Theme 2015
From Monday July 20 (10am) – Wednesday July 22 (noon) you’ll be able to vote on WKN for a new Halloween theme to be released in the W-Shop in October!
You’ll have 3 themes to choose from (see concept drawings below). Look over each concept drawing carefully because once the winning theme has been decided, the concept drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
Haunted Hotel Theme
The furniture in this theme would include items that you’d find in a spooky hotel lobby and ghostly hotel room including a front desk, creepy key rack and this haunted hotel lobby chair:
Freaky Forest Theme
This theme would include items that you would see in a dark haunted forest including creepy looking trees, a gate, statue and this terrifying bench:
Trick or Treat? Theme
This theme would include furniture that you’d find inside a cozy home that was decorated for Halloween including a candy bowl side table, rug, window and this colorful couch:

I think the forest one would be awesome! I’m thinking Sleeping Beauty forest, Snow White running away from the Evil Queen forest. It’ll be pretty cool to mix it up with fairy tale items.
Congrats on your cheeky adoptions, boper! Did you get them from eBay? Were they reasonably priced?

Oh, my! I love them all.
I would like them to combine the first two, but they do seem more for the older gen playin. I think a lot of the younger kids might like the third option.
It is easier now that more items can go in all rooms.

All three sound interesting not sure which one I want to vote for. I like the couch the best of the three drawings but overall I think I would like one of the other theme better.
The amazon sale is working now search ganz estore in the amazon search bar and it is buy two get one free, the ad is wrong. There are only a few pets included in the sale. The only one I really want is the corgi though so not sure if I am going to buy anything.

Zingy, love all your pet care rooms. Congrats on all the FS Prizes!!
I guess I need to spend some time on my accounts and get everyone out of bed and into pet care rooms. I’m finding my routine of tucking the pets into their bed when I’m done playing with them a hard habit to break.
I’m still undecided if the extra 10 FS points are consonant enough for taking them out of bed and putting them right back in bed for a second to make leaving them in bed a feasible choice. This does result in an empty food meter but would be worth the 10kc for two pumpkins to raise the meter enough to make the pet content.
zingy obviously has worked out a proven method, look at all those FS Prizes she has gotten!! I’m just wondering if there are other plans of action that would also work.
I really hope Ganz fixes the food meter issue soon. My pets continuous binge eating has caused me to make them all monophagous where they are fed only pumpkins since it gives the biggest food boost. I sold a bunch of recipe foods and pet specific foods to buy enough pumpkins to feed the armed forces, hoping they will last until Ganz fixes the issue or my farm fresh pumpkins are ready to harvest.

the bottom one makes me think of fun halloween parties
but overall i’m with zingy on the forest having the most unique potential for me probably … although you know me, i want all of them 🙂

Of the Halloween themes … I like the forest the best but the hotel is not far behind … I would like them both … and I am so far behind on decorating that I could easy use them both.

lol, stagemom – that’s the sweetest vent i’ve ever seen posted. they’ve been fixing stuff little by little. it would have been far easier for them to have waited until the finished programming all the missing/incomplete items but at least while they’re working on the fix, you can earn the family score prizes.
thanks for the kind words on my room. my pets are spending a lot of time in there now instead of switching back and forth all the time. so i figured i might as well make as pleasant of a place for them to stay in until i get to the stairs then i’ll put them back and just respond to requests as they come up.

i have the hardest time with outdoor rooms, i prolly make one outdoor for every 10 indoor room i make. but i love the potential because it’s so different. and the first outdoor halloween theme we’ll ever have.
i also like the haunted hotel.
but with the kind of peeps who spend time voting on wkn, the cute trick or treat on will prolly be the winner.
too bad they can’t just make them all, especially since they took out a whole bunch of wshop themes.

The daily kinzcare or whatever it is called now .. the log in and click the box for food .. mine is not tied to a particular day … when I fill it I can click to redeem for one of the kinzcare prizes .. if I miss a day it doesn’t matter.

We have already started buying costume pieces for Halloween. YD is going as Jane Foster (the scientist that is Thor’s girl friend) and OD is dressing up as a character from a webcomic called Homestuck. Excited about Halloween on AW too.

tmt, i hear ya! i want it figured out EARLY! i wanna know who wants to be what & everything. we took the boat out of the garage the other day….the day we took it out & i jumped in the lake with my phone…but i digress…when we took the boat out i actually thought about getting the halloween/fall stuff out! 😳 i DIDN’T, but i wanted to! i wouldn’t put it up in JULY, but would august be too soon? YD is on too and she is complaining her grumpy cat is not talking to her. I didn’t really notice before but we are not getting the old dialog and you can’t ask your pet questions anymore. She was like weren’t the pets supposed to talk to us more. I hope this is just a transitional issue cause grumpy cat dialog was amusing.

Oh it looks different than earlier more pets are included and there is more than two with the different wording that sort of looks like buy one get one free but then there is at extra 1 at the end.

i’m sooooo tired of the glitches…white screens, no “menu” sometimes so i have to log out & back on…half the time i can’t see the bottom of the screen to see my items in my dock, or my pets for that matter. don’t get me wrong, i do like alot about webX, but man oh man…it’s just so much work having to double, or triple work bc of the issues. i have stuff missing out of my rooms that idk what they are. how much more am i missing that i don’t even know about? stuff stuck on my walls crooked, big blue blobs for what? i don’t even know? logging on takes forever sometimes & others it’s ok? theres no reason or rhyme to it that i can see & i don’t usually get to log on & play till everyone else is down, so my time is limited to log on & send marshmallows, which are NOT in our room anymore, so theres more work.

YD got a suit to wear for the holidays instead of a dress this past year thanks to his character on How I met your mother. Given where we live a suit is much more practical dress up clothes than the party dresses. Why they sell sleeveless winter dresses here I’ll never know.

Company for several days and Amazon Prime Members sale today has kept me very busy.
I got a Dell Computer at the sale, I hope I didn’t make a mistake, it is so hard to compare the computers. We also picked up a couple of toys for Christmas for the little one. The popular items went before I could click and the waiting lists never worked.

Good Morning My Friends
Yesterday the Doctor said my side & fingers are healing up just fine, so I can take Advil now instead of the strong stuff. 😀 But next Friday the 24th I have to go for a Cardio workup. Seems as I get older the Doc wants to see more & more! lol to bad he is not young & Handsome! 😆 just kidding 😆

Time to get the new rare on NA deluxe Curio.
Wish it wasn’t deluxe – I only have one deluxe account and this would be nice in so many medieval rooms.

Lion Tapestry: Regular Rare for a long time.
Bear Tapestry: Super Wheel Exclusive from 2009 until sold in the Curio Shop recently.
Unicorn Tapestry: WKN Exclusive, 1 per email address, until recently.
Lion Coat of Arms: Never sold, only randomly appeared in a few accounts.
Bear Coat of Arms: Never sold, only randomly appeared in a few accounts.
Unicorn Coat of Arms: Maybe appeared in a few accounts, now sold in the Curio Shop once.
