The new pet care gift box is cute. Wondering if it is tied to days of the week or not since it doesn’t mention them. That would be nice not having to come everyday of the week to earn a prize. Didn’t notice if the fs went up for filling the box.

It took me about 3 hours but I filled 10 hearts on my main account and got up to 12000 on the family score. The only pets with anything still in their hearts after midnight were the ones that had partial filled hearts. The ones I filled yesterday were empty. Was it in bed or out of bed that caused them to be empty? Did they change things again because I think they were all out of bed but some emptied out and others didn’t. If full hearts are going to be empty and there are not that many requests it looks like we need to fill 10 to get the bonuses then make sure to partially fill another ten so you can have heats not so hard to fill for the next day. I had to play almost every arcade game to get the last few points for some of the pets.

I read back through comments and stagemom said they lose more heart points if they are left up then if they are in bed. It wasn’t bolded so Zingy hasn’t confirmed it yet. Going to go back on and check levels and do half and half tomorrow evening in time for midnight. Half all filled not in bed, half all filled in bed, half partial filled not in bed and half partial filled in bed. Of course no guarantee any of it will be the same after the 14th update.

Good morning!
Regarding the Webkinz Care box – you only get a gift if you log in every day. I missed one day on some accounts and the gift box didn’t appear so no end of the week gift on those accounts.
FS didn’t change with filing the box.
I meant to check about the beds and filled hearts but haven’t gotten to it yet, sorry. The bonus is incremental btw. I only have one filled heart on a side account and got bonus kc while doing the Mover’s Job in the Employment Office.

No easy way to do WKN, Catlover. That’s why a lot of times, even if I knew I wanted the yellow dress last Saturday, I didn’t get to do them – they were hard to find! And most of the time if we see something we already have from before, we’re happy to skip WKN.
I added the list of peeps who sent verified tips to the previous post. Did I miss anyone?

BTW to check about beds and filled hearts emptying it will take 2 days
1st day hearts empty 25%
2nd day hearts empty completely
So you’ll have to sacrifice 2 pets – can’t touch them until after that time.
If anyone wants to do it, pls do and report back.
It all depends on your goal – if your goal is filled hearts to raise kc, it would be worth knowing. If your goal is getting prizes, frankly, I much prefer empty hearts to fill back with FS points.

In bed, out of bed, happiness, hunger, sleep meters, so many different variables to consider.
Tried everything at full capacity out of bed last night: only lost 25% of pets FS heart and meters were also not affected that much.
I’m with zingy, decide what you are after and work towards that. I want FS prizes on Main so empty FS hearts are a good thing. On extra accounts, I’m ignoring the FS hearts for now and just doing dailies.

On the bed issue, just found 2 pets who I sent to bed before midnight with full hearts woke up this morning with empty hearts. So maybe the bed empties the hearts? I’ll have to check again after midninght tonight on another set of pets.

25 zingy, I’ve been trying to figure this out as well. I actually think it maybe the pets happiness, hunger and sleep meters that matter, not whether they are in or out of bed. I think it actually makes more sense that the meters matter. I still need to test out this theory though.

Zingy you are amazing. Great prize. Good luck getting the bed. I really like your idea about making it possible for people to turn off the requests if they don’t want to play that way.
Thank you to everyone for all the tips, yesterday I was able to fill 6 pets in about an hour. Hopefully, tomorrow will make it a lot better, fingers, toes, eyes and ears crossed.

However, I ran into a snag where I noticed the plush in my dock don’t go beyond the letter S (and it won’t let me scroll to the letter T where the Toy Lizard would show so I can take it out of my dock to kinzpost).

So from Stagemom’s comment my hearts being empty was a glitch. The first couple of days they just went down the 25% they were supposed to. Then last night logged off with full hearts, logged back on after midnight to empty ones. Not much point in experimenting with conditions till after the 14th upgrade then. I expect a lot of what we are seeing variable wise is not intended. Once things settle a bit I am up for running experiments with different conditions if we are still noticing fluctuations.

One of my full hearts that went empty is now at 22. Oh well that confirms no point in experimenting yet, results would be suspect.

our local b and n had a deal where if you order thru the store it is free shipping no matter what (they get store sales credit) AND the online prices are usually cheaper so you get that too. I went today without checking online first….the books I wanted were not in stock……so I hope to go back tomorrow. I am ordering the Ashfall series by Mike Mullins. Dee- that sounds like a great deal! I have heard of those books though I don’t know what theyre about, I have been meaning to look into them. I think it was two weeks ago now I got Grey and books 2-4 of the Heir series for a Books A Million contest for a Camp Half-Blood totebag. Last night I got the Collector’s Editions of Divergent and insurgent and pre-ordered that version of Allegiant which is coming out in October and I got the fifth mortal instruments book cause it was only $8 online.. wish I had grabbed book six too but I decided to stop there lol

Gwenda, the marshmallow collection thingy is now on the map, sometimes hidden under the new map dock thingy but … if you put your cursor around under the bottom arrow of the dock it will turn into a pointer and you can click that to bring up the marshmallow window.

I am at mall for YD’s Hawaiian dance class. She only does it during summer. Too much money for recitals at two different dance schools. Wish you could opt out of rectial because we could swing just tuition for class.

Last book I bought for myself was a Bob Hope biography from a used book store haven’t read it yet. YD got a free book from the library summer reading program So You Want To Be A Wizard. She likes it, the librarian said it was book one of a series but the other books weren’t as good.

My Mazin’ Hamster, Stargirl is AWOL! I guess she finally got so fed up with her game not running properly she just disappeared!
I checked her bed earlier today and she was resting peacefully. This evening, I went to wake her up and take her to the pet heath care room, she refused to walk through the doorway. She gripped the door jams, kicked her little feet and flat out refused! Then WW froze and I couldn’t even logout. Closed the window, logged back into WW and she is GONE! Checked nearby rooms, looked for her in my list of pets, not a sign of her anywhere! So, if you see a Twilight Mazin’ Hamster dressed in Trendy Baby Outfit from the Ganz eStore 2014 Fall Mystery Bags and a yellow tank top, please send her home! Her Mama and housemates are very very worried about her!

I had something similar happen with one of my hamsters last night the white one with brown spots. Wouldn’t go into room just stuck by door and wasn’t in the pets list. The game thought it was still in the room it started in but it was standing in the door way of the bathroom. I wasn’t worried last night because he was still standing in the doorway when I went there with other pets. I checked after reading Stagemom’s comment and he is gone too. Not in either room or in the list. Cookie is wearing the red and white candy worker outfit and one of the zingoz hats. Pets going missing is one glitch too far. Warning do not play with your hamsters!!!

Well he has never even been to the Academy and I just moved a girl hamster Sweetie into his room with him a week ago.
I couldn’t play in the arcade so I logged out and the log in says I have 153 pets. So maybe they are still in the memory somewhere. Have to figure out who if anyone is missing too.

So I started going through room by room checking the pets and I found a hamster in her bed, a pink one that had not been in the pet pictures. After I went in the room I checked the pictures again and she was there in the list and I have 152 pet pictures now but the my pets page still says 151. I have other hamsters so it is not just the pets minus the hamsters. Needless to say I am not touching the pink one sleeping in her bed. So it does appear to be a hamster issue. I have played with a couple of other ones since this started and they are fine so far.
So we have a cookie, twilight and sparkle hamster be glitchy so far.

My other hamsters seem fine I have played with a blue Presto hamster and the St. Patrick’s day one. I have a purple Petunia and a Nick (Christmas) one that I have not played with. Rachael the sparkle hamster’s picture has AWOL again. Sigh. I made a comment on the ganz news about the hamster glitch just in case they don’t know yet.

I went to check on an extra account where Stargirl’s cousin Twilight lives. He is standing in his room (stark naked!) but he is not listed in the pet list. I took note of his appearance and slowly backed out of the room to leave him be. I’m hoping if I just leave him alone he won’t run off like the others…only time will tell.

I figured out that you can only get 50 FS points for doing the following things each day no matter what order you go in, you will get 15 fs points for the 1st thing you do & 5 fs points for each other thing in the list that you do & 10 fs points for getting out of bed & sometimes it may seem like more only because WW throws random FS points every so often & you only have to go in bathtub & sink & dry your pets so there face is happy to get the points :
1. Swim in pool
2. Jump on trampoline
3. Run on treadmill
4. use Bathroom sink
5. use Bathtub
6.The First time you fill up all 3 care bars
I did sign in this morning at 7:30 am & I noticed that I only received 40FS points, I did not receive the 10 fsp for getting out of bed?? I hope that comes back after the update, if it does & hearts only empty 1/2 way it will be easy to fill up many pets each day even without the request after you have filled the heart once & since the fs prizes get farther & farther apart like near the end of the prize list as it is you would need 500,000 fs points between prizes so I will not get to the last prize listed for Years & WW said they will be adding on to the prizes beyond the million fsp prize. 😆

How big a difference does filling up hearts make when it comes to family score? Last night I stopped worrying about the hearts and instead put about 20 pets through the “swim, bathe, exercise..” routine and gained family score much faster than I’d been doing with the hearts. Is it even worth it to fill them up?

Don’t worry too much about filling the hearts. Just do the routine (see post 135 above by shellybrayley). Doing all the pets inside my pet care room nets ~1400 Family Score Points and takes 19 minutes (not including feeding pumpkins if I want them to look happy afterwards).

I haven’t done anywhere near that many pets .. I got 5 hearts filled on my main account yesterday and a few amongst other accounts.
Just doing the Care Room activities hasn’t given me much of a boost to the FS. I’ll have to try again … could it be that you can get more that way if you had previously filled their hearts?

When I was on last night after midnight I was able to do the wow, jumble berries, spree and wishing well by going through today’s activities. I didn’t say anything because I thought they would have the arcade fixed with the update. I didn’t have any problems with the arcade until last night. Also if the arcade isn’t working and your pet asks to play a game if you save the wishing well each wish counts as a game that is five and then you can play a game in the tournament area to fulfill request for the arcade after you run out of wishes.
I need the kinzcash boost so what I did was fill ten hearts then do the dailies and after that just go through the care routine with some more pets not trying to fill them. I ended up with 12 filled hearts and ten partial filled. I could of done more but I had enough by then. I think I was at 12000 something when I started and finished a little over 15000. I had 8 partial filled hearts when I started. None of the variables made a difference in if they only went down 25% or completely emptied.

fortunately i haven’t stopped using adblock and am still able to go to the arcade except for once

Nice care room Zingy, I have 2 with 15 pets each but they’re pretty cluttered. Where(or when) did you get those Sunrise Wall Panels? I’ve been waiting for them to show up in the eStore forever. If I remember right it was a part of the “Modern Art Set” back in 2009/2010, I’ve emailed ganz about bringing them back but they never do.
I’m glad I stopped worrying about the hearts, I’ve been getting 2000 fs in just over half an hour where before I had to go on for hours just to get 500.

My arcade is working now, the pet is actually jumping on the trampoline, I got three requests from the pet I was playing with and I just won a cash cow trophy. Yay.
Unfortunately Cookie is still in Hamster Vegas. Rachael is asleep in her room but her picture is still missing. On the plus side the log in still says 153 pets.

When you get a new phone CWC, hopefully you won’t have to wait until March, you might want to get a water proof case. My hands sometimes randomly decide to stop holding the phone so I have an otter box case that helps with dropping and protects at least some from water. I lost a flip phone to the toilet a few years back fell, out of my shorts pocket.

cwc – your best bet is DO NOT try to power it up & get it to a repair place asap – they can open it up and try to clean it – a good place won’t charge you much (<$30) or at all if they can't fix it

I have two pools invisible stuck in rooms but they do work as pools. The one is particularly annoying I keep walking the pets into it when they have already swam and they lose food level.

moms, i had no idea! idk what to look up to call, but that will be on my to do list tomorrow. i’m so sad! so many things on there i’ll NEVER get back. even some of my contacts i didn’t have anywhere else…but the worst part are the pics & memories over all. i even had notes that my little beans would add to my phone, just bc. it’s just a phone, but what was on it was so……..
ANYWAY…….WOW BOPER!!!! 😯 CONGRATS! i want to adopt SO BAD!!! but i am too scared. i am dealing with so much nonsense! i do love the prizes, but the glitches are just too much! and i want the marshmallow thing back in my room!!!! it’s to easy to forget & when you remember it’s one extra step, then it glitches again…..

They didn’t publish my comment about the hamsters on ganznews. I didn’t really expect they would. I wasn’t freaking out or anything just a polite heads up and a thank you for the great update. Hopefully the info makes it to the people who need to know. I wonder if the thank you came off as sarcastic given the missing pet, it wasn’t intended that way.

@Zingy, Aw man- the gift box is usually a miss. If only they’d let you pick from the estore pool, it would be a nice addition since they took away our pet backgrounds and docks! I’ll have to try messaging them on facebook, that does seem to be the best way to contact them.
I once lucked out and got a gaggle of googles silkscreen from my deluxe gift box. Been wanting that item since it came out. Other than that it’s all been duds that take up space.
Speaking of the docks and backgrounds though, I think they should add a new customizable feature for deluxe members. The background was honestly one of my favorite things about my membership. It would be neat if we could customize room backgrounds or door styles.

Shelly – the reset button will bring you back to the room you are in. so if you are on the map and you are viewing the opposite side of your house, click reset and the map will center on the room that you are in.
