Best Tips/Tricks to Build Your Family Score (FS) Contest
To enter this contest, you must submit a helpful tip/trick on how to build your family score. If two tips are similar, only the first one will count (so you have to read the other posts!). I will highlight the eligible comments as we go. Those who qualify will be placed on a wheel to spin for a Blueberry Pet Code donated by taggylou (thanks so much!).

I got one. Fill up your hearts! Once you have 10 pets with full hearts you get bonuses for playing with your other pets. +5 for sleeping, +3 for the other 5 actions! It adds up!

Although i’m not one for tips & tricks like some others that have much more time than i do. 🙁 (so jelly!) but, i’m guessing this is sharable?
this has been working for me…i keep my pets in bed every night, then when i log on i get them up (10 points) put them straight back to bed (another 10 points) & get them out right away! it’s been working like a charm. 😉

Awwwww But on this thread of Posts I see that no one has mention to keep
stocked up on EGGS to feed your pets as they give out 23 care points on the hunger chart! 😀 I also have kept half my pets awake & the other half in Bed when I sleep & I find that it only takes a few minutes to refill hearts by getting them up – 10 pts – putting them back to bed – 10 – points & then feeding the 4 to 5 eggs & Ta dah! on to the next pet!
Now off I go to get 10 hearts at least on all 5 accounts! be back again! sometime ?? 😆

I have found you will get more credit for a bath if you take time and put the duck in the water and put bubbles in, rinse etc. etc.
I went back and read the bio on each pet to find out what their favorite food is, their pet specific food is most expensive in more cases.

I got credit by going to Quizzy’s and doing the Question of the Day (doesn’t help with family score).
I also got credit when doing the Wishing Well (doesn’t consistently help with family score either but kc won gets multiplied by filled hearts)

The only drawback with wishing well is that is seriously drains the sleep

Today I had a starving pet and when I fed it up to 50% full I received 25 heart points. Not sure if this was feeding or the food it self that gave me the points. I don’t have another starving pet yet because I have only been using two for now.
Also chicken noodle soup gives good boost (relieves hunger by 12pts) while not being too expensive (6kc).

I bought the pink swimming pool from the WShop and was so surprised I could put it in my house.
Not sure if this is a glitch.
So I have a swimming pool, the bath tub, a treadmill and a trampoline and a bed.
Am I missing anything?
This works great having everything all in one room.

Four accounts haven’t had a single pet ask for anything. What part of you don’t have to do stuff for the pets if you don’t want to, didn’t the whinny people understand. I liked that part, that was the point more interaction with the pets and now I don’t have time to fill one heart let alone 10. Sorry I know it was driving some of you nuts but without that function why are we dealing with all these glitches. It took me three tries to get a pool in a room. The in ground lap pool is invisible and you can’t remove it, the square one that is an exclusive just made a blue puddle in the room but at least you can take it back out. The round one just called pool worked thanks for mentioning using it in comments so I knew not to give up. Haven’t read through everything just got back on the computer at 10:00 pm since about 1:00 am Friday Morning. Too busy yesterday and then feel asleep for the night at 6:30 pm.

There was a article on webkinznews about the gardens but the news is down right now. Basically they will grow on their own. Just check back every few days to see if there is anything to harvest. They are supposedly growing the same rate as before without the raking and what not and the plants wont go bad if you don’t harvest them when they are grown, they just stay that way. It will go back to the way it was or something like it anyway later on.

We’ve made some temporary changes to the way gardening items work with the NEW Webkinz!
In an effort to make gardening available to everyone at the launch of the NEW Webkinz, you may have noticed that your plants aren’t behaving in exactly the same way. We wanted to make sure that all gardening items could still be harvested, although there is still some outstanding functionality that we are working on.
Here are the current temporary changes to gardening items:
â—¾Gardening items do not require any maintenance (no watering or raking)
â—¾Plants ready for harvest will not die (they will remain ready to harvest)
â—¾All gardening plants will only yield 1 food item per harvest
All gardening items will still grow at the same rate and you will be able to check on their progress each day.

It wasn’t full yet, had just gotten on to that pet for today. I also had an unhappy pet ask for something. I am getting more pets asking for stuff today vs. yesterday when it was once on all eleven accounts and I was on three of those for awhile. I have been on about 2 half hours on my main account and I have 9 hearts full with a few others most of the way, keep getting stuck just a few points short. I have gotten three family prizes however. Farm fresh food not giving the FS bonuses anymore either. Farm Fresh Pumpkin is 30 food points though. Highest I have noticed so far. It could be a coincidence but ignoring the game to type on here has gotten me two pet requests.

Your pets don’t get sick of eating!! You can feed them as much food as you want and they won’t deny it. (I fed over 200 pickle berries and he loved every one of them)

KGH, the bath gives you 5 points along with the sink, trampoline, treadmill, and pool. The bed gives 10. However, if you simultaneously fill one of your pets happiness/hunger/energy levels to 100, then you get a bonus 5 points and it will say “+10” or “+15”. But you are actually getting 5 for the action, and then 5 for each meter. I hope this makes sense to anyone besides me…

If you only hit all done, sink consistently gives out 5 FS points.
Sink can give you 15 FS points if you do it all – brush teeth, wash face, rinse, brush hair before clicking all done.

If you do more, I think it gave out 15.

When you go into a room and place something in the room (furniture or object) it will add +1 FS. Will only work ONE time in each room per day. But for those with a large house is great to make up the shortfall when you only need a few FS to fill a heart.
Also, “playing” each arcade game will add +1 the FIRST time you play the game. You don’t actually have to play, just open the game, “play” the first action, then leave the game. Doesn’t matter if you earn kc or not.
When a pet ASKS for Food, give them a food that doesn’t raise their food boost that much, it still counts for +25 FS.
When a pet ASKS for a change in Outfit, you can put something on them and take it right back off, it still counts for +25 FS

Re playing games in the arcade, I don’t always get FS credit if I x out immediately. I don’t have to earn 1kc but if I make the pig run a little bit in Pinky’s game, it counts. If I x’ed out, it doesn’t.
Wishing Well doesn’t give out an FS point until you at least click on it the 2nd time, then you can x out. And it’s not consistent either so you may not get an FS point from it at all.
I’ve been testing it since LeeAnn posted tip #16 and kgh posted tip #12 (btw Quizzy’s Question of the day -I’ve been testing on multiple accounts several times now and I have yet to see it award an FS point).

To decided what to do with your indentured servants, umm I mean pets, prior to log out…
If their FOOD level is low put them to bed then when you get them up the following day happiness and sleep will be full. Take them out of bed (+10 FS)and put them right back in bed for just a second (+10 FS) and take them out again. Feed them eggs, mac & cheese, farm fresh pumpkins to get hunger raised just enough to make them happy so it will trigger them to ask for something. Go through the “pet care room” or work on dailies while you wait for them to ask.
If their FOOD level is NOT LOW do NOT put them to bed prior to logout, so they retain their meter levels overnight.
Clear as mud? Well, I tried.

re 74: i was thinking about that too when i checked out cwc’s tip. i decided i can afford the 2 eggs (6kc x2) to get them happy again after their hunger meter has zeroed out. so if the pet already has its bed, i put them to sleep there. if not, i’m not buying beds just for the 10kc for sleeping in them.

you can get more FS points even after your pet heart is full
i had a pet get a request (worth 25 FSpoints) which filled its heart (it was filled the day before and so it was only down to 75 today)
before it had gone thru the pet care routine (wash/bathe/swim/treadmill/trampoline/bed)
and it still gave out FS points for each activity
i just have to feed it 2 eggs again to make it happy

As we’ve discussed, after you fill ten hearts you get the 50% more KC. This works for pretty much everything: employment office, arcade, tournament arena, today’s activities, trades/finds in the magical forest, gem trades in the Curio Shop, Pixie Pod Pachinko, anything and everything.

Additional info to add to post 74
If FS Hearts are FULL and you leave them up all night they will drain more than 25% overnight (FS heart is almost empty) if you put them to bed they will only drain 25% and will be quicker to fill the next day.
(Tested on two accounts last night)

I have a berry tip: After playing a round and you have BERRIES to put in jars … put in 5, feed one, put in 5-10, feed one, put in 5 more … you can switch between types of berries but do NOT put in more than 10 without feeding and/or switching berry types. I was able to fill two jars this way .. then I got careless and nature called … soooo

Hmm, re 91, might be better for me to keep pets off their beds overall.
Empty hearts equals more chances to score FS points equals closer to winning FS prizes.

90 zingy, you do have to “play” the game some. You just need to play it enough for it to register, you just don’t need to actually earn kc for it to count for +1 FS.
Same goes for when the pet request to play in the arcade. I go to Wacky Zingos give him one good whack, click the ok when it shows how far I hit him and then x out.

Lol, no. I can’t decorate with all the gray boxes so I have time to do FS prizes. if the disemboweled fairy wasn’t bad enough, if you leave the clubhouse without removing the buddy, your pet will freeze.
if you’re lucky enough that another pet makes a requests then you can proceed with your game but you cannot play with the pet with the buddy without your game getting locked up.
if another pet doesn’t make a request immediately, you’re locked out of the game. logging in with the glitched pet buddy attach to your pet will just show room loading indefinitely.
do NOT use this pet buddy until someone says it’s fixed!

Official apology here: I have been very lax in sending back the marshmallows, replying to messages, posting here …
We appreciate, more than you can imagine, all the support for BOB, FFQ and me during this high stress/emotionally charged time.
I am in desperate need of some WW playtime … I have managed to get a few hearts filled and get the marshmallow requests sent out from mots of my accounts.
Poor Dundee is feeling the stress plus our company is making all things more difficult and more stressful. Several unpleasant incidents since their arrival. Leaving FFQ and I will little sleep and loads of stress. Ezzy is ok if she gets to be held and loved.
The high stress and lack of sleep are triggers for my epilepsy which created a battle for me yesterday and some now as I am starting to get ready to head to the hospital. Need to pack, shower, eat, load car… drive the 40+ miles on icky Cleveland freeways through construction …
BOB was moved to a step down room today, from ICU. Which is a good sign. I am pondering if it would be best for him to go to a nursing home for a week or so to get more strength and a better start on therapy than to come home to his sister Nazi who feels the need to stay here and be his care giver while attempting to exert herself as ruler of our home. We resist … her efforts will be futile 😉
Meanwhile … my sometime teeth clenching bad habit has turned into clenched jaw a LOT .. *sigh*

Momsk, I am for the rehab .. my mom did the rehab after every stay in the hospital .. it made the transition easier for all of us. AND she was eager to come home after rehab … she was well enough to miss being home.

krafty, glad to hear BOB is doing well, sorry to hear everything has been made even more stressful by obnoxious houseguests. I agree rehab seems like a good idea especially since it seems BOB is the type to ignore Dr.’s orders. I was forced to stay in the hospital for two weeks after my first surgery (I had three in two years only one was heart related) and was SO READY to go home when I was released that I didn’t want to do anything that would potentially cause me to need to go back.
Remember to take care of yourself!
Give FFQ a big hug and have her return it to you from me 🙂

Krafty, I am v glad that everything is going well with BOB. I do agree that a Rehab home is the best place to be after major surgerys. I have always felt better coming home after a brief stay at rehab and it is much easier on my family 🙂
I have noticed the noodles also give 25 food points & cost 10 kc. So I have been feeding eggs at 6 kc for 23 food points & noodles for a change 😀

Just got back from brunch with friends then a looong wait at the Apple store coz somehow the software got corrupted so my iPhone freezes when I try to go online on it.
Krafty, you may want to speak with Bob’s physician and share your concerns about his recovery at home. I’m sure they want they want the best outcome for him and if you explain why the rehab option is better, they can help advocate for you.

Dropped OD off Nanotechology camp today.
The girls had tea at Greenfield Village on Friday. There were cucumber sandwiches, scones and variety of other little sandwiches and some cookies.
Then Saturday we did a can drive for Robotics Team and YD journey project for Girls Scouts. YD was earning money for bee keepers. They wanted the project to help a local animal and where we live there are not much in the way of animals so we did some research and she picked bees.

Not having any luck with the berries every time I get to the point where I have put the number of berries in the containers I should of had without the glitch I get logged out. Tried the switching berry types and the feeding and neither worked.

I’ve noticed that if I’m in my room with a pet and they aren’t requesting anything, if I’ll leave and go to the Curio Shop or Today’s Activities, then they almost instantly request something. I think it’s because the change of location triggers it. Not sure if anyone had mentioned that but it seems to work for me. 🙂

Mine used to do that the changing of locations but now not so much. YD filled 12 hearts in about a half an hour the first day just by gong back and forth between the arcade and room. Some of my accounts I am getting requests others nothing.

I don’t have time to hang out on side accounts for 15 minutes.
My family scores have stopped going up. I wasn’t sure but I thought the last few accounts I logged in nothing was happening. Now I just had one of the lucky accounts that got two requests in a short time with a pet that had a mostly full heart and when I filled the heart the score stayed the same.

I just got some family score from a different pet but it is definitely not working the same, the not getting it for a full heart may of just been a glitch. I have gotten four requests on this account after going through four other accounts with nothing.
If you are dealing with empty hearts it could take at least a couple of hours to fill ten with only two requests every fifteen minutes. That is too long.

I liked how it was before. You could just bounce back and forth if you wanted to trigger a bunch of requests and if you didn’t want that, once you got settled at an area you were only getting the occasional request.

Just got 5 points for the pet heart for a piece of birthday cake, first time I have seen that. So if I am getting it correctly you can get a random 5 point bonus for some foods like birthday cake, recipe food and garden fresh food.

That was happening a lot at first mine have stopped having the level drop with feeding. It isn’t telling you when you have fed enough and when you over shoot it goes down. Did you clear your cache again before logging in this time?
I think the consensus is if they are low on food when you are done playing with them put them to bed for the night and then in the morning when you get them up their food bar will be empty but they will have full happiness and energy. If the food bar is fullish then leave them up so you don’t lose the food level.
