I decided to compile a list of answers received from Webkinz Newz for questions regarding the new Family Score. (please excuse any typos)
There will be limits to the amount of Family Score that can be earned in a day.
The Kinzville Valley Home goes on the Map of Kinzville and links to your current house.
You get points for pets you already have, up to a hundred pets per account.
You can adopt as many pets as you want, but you’ll only get points for the first 100.
The Morgan Fairy prize is a Pet Buddy that flies next to your pet like a Zum Buddy.
The Dock will be similar to the one you’re using now, but with several improvements. Stay tuned to Webkinz Newz because Ella has some more information about the new Dock coming soon!
Milestone Prizes can only be earned once per account. However, ALL of the prizes can be traded and sent through KinzPost.
There is no prize shop for Family Score. When you win a new Milestone Prize, you’ll get a pop up awarding you that prize. Also, there will be Milestone Prizes added for 100,000 points ad up that currently aren’t shown on the chart, but the ones shown will remain the same.
We have prizes for milestones all the way up to 1 million points, but these were all of the ones ready to be shown today.
If you fill all 3 of your pet’s hearts in a day, you’ll earn a higher bonus for KinzCash and Family Score than if you only filled 1 or 2. All Milestone Prizes can be traded and sent by KinzPost.

we went to an “estate” sale today……….some old ladys mobile with prices on everything in her home…….pretty weird as she was set up in a hospital bed in the living room and got up when we pulled up……….pretty trippy

dee, that estate sale does sound a little creepy but i’m glad you guys found some items you liked. we sometimes go to estate sales around here. don’t always find stuff to buy but it’s fun poking into different kinds of houses. some are large enough to have a game room/library in addition to pools, multiple bedrooms etc.

Honey’s workout/gym partner bailed. So he ended up going home earlier and we went for a walk around the reservoir. It’s a little cold tonight but reasonably clear. We could see the Golden Gate Bridge from afar. It was a pretty sight.

Ella McWoof here! With your help, I’ve sniffed out some important information about the X-citing new project, Webkinz X!
In my previous Newz story, I told you all about Family Score. Before that, I told you about the Pet Care Heart and said that the fastest way to fill it was responding to Pet Requests.
Now, in my EXCLUSIVE SCOOP, here’s more information straight from the TOP SECRET documents!
The main goal of Webkinz X is to make your pets feel more alive and interactive, and to make them more central to the way you play. Currently, if your pet asks for something, the only reward for responding is boosting their Happiness, Hunger, or Health meters.
With Webkinz X, when your pet requests something, you’ll also earn a big boost to their Pet Care Heart! You’ll have to be quick though—in order to get the boost you’ll have to respond to the request within a certain amount of time. A timer will appear over your pet so you’ll be able to see how much time you have remaining.

What your pet requests will depend on how much you’ve played with them. The more times you fill up their heart, the smarter they will get, and soon they will start making more specific requests, along with a wider variety of requests.
For players that have multiple pets, once you finish filling up your active pet’s heart, another pet will let you know that they have a request. You can either switch right away to that pet and begin filling up their heart, or you can wait until you are ready to switch. That pet’s request won’t start until you switch to them. Only one pet at a time will make a request.
Because you can only get KinzCash and Family Score bonuses for filling up to 10 of your pet’s hearts, only a maximum of 10 pets will make requests on a given day.

getting a blue screen with Chrome on my PC today. have to use Firefox and Opera (can sorta use IE and Safari but they crash intermittently with WW).

Steve Webkinz We’re not forcing anyone to do anything. Continue to play however you like. If you don’t want to respond to the Pet Requests, you don’t have to. They are not mandatory. We will not block any of the game if you don’t. Pet requests are simply a way to better connect with your pet and to earn a new set of prizes by taking care of them.

I only went to the park enough number of times to see the mayor because I strongly disliked seeing the ads and how slow the computer runs with them.

In some ways the changes sound fun and you can just ignore them for the most part. It is going to make doing the basics more time consuming though. I am already struggling with just the collections, challenges and news floaties. If I just had one account and didn’t need to do anything on my girls accounts I think I would be pretty excited about it. I don’t mind the zums though, I would play with them if I had the time and energy.

Well as long as they don’t start retiring the family score prizes making it stressful to get things before they are gone I think it will make the game more fun for the younger players at least. Trying to name a goat. I was thinking Pan and then putting it is the ancient room or Barn room and going with more story/farmer name Gruff from the Billy Goats Gruff story Farmer Mcdonald or Farmer Brown (Click Clack Moo). Odin for Avengers pets. Or a Norse Mythology name Tanngrisnir (Old Norse “teeth-barer, snarler”) and Tanngnjóstr (Old Norse “teeth grinder”) are the goats who pull the god Thor’s chariot in Norse mythology. HEIDRUN: The magical goat of Valhalla. Any thoughts?

the enchanted goat or the capricorn goat might be more suited for Pan or Heidrun (in case you’re thinking of getting those in the future)
i’d go for Gruff and make a jumble berry room for this pet.

Capricorn goat is cute and the window psi would look good in the ancient room. I have the berry stuff divided between a barn room and a fruit room and none of the three rooms have pets in them. So I talked to OD and Capricorn goat is going to be Pan and I think I am going to name the Billy goat Heidrun and put them in the same room.

YD just suggested Grover and then I saw Dee comment. Now I am conflicted um. It looks more like a boy than a girl so Grover it is. Maybe I’ll get the enchanted or mountain goat at some point to name Heidrun.
