If I remember correctly when I was in school, they always said Memorial Day is the same as Veterans Day in the sense that we remember all of our veterans on both days even though Memorial Day is primarily to remember those who died. I guess they taught us incorrectly then or didn’t want to focus on Memorial Day being related to deaths only because of how old we were, but it makes more sense now that Memorial Day is just to remember those who have died.

So I was googling something else and ended up finding people talking about me and my daughter’s old blog atomicolicious/kinzblog. Someone said,” I wonder what Michelle and Haley are doing now” – ha, what a neat thing to find.
We are just fine. Webkinz is something in our past but we sure have fond memories of those days and many of you that commented, emailed and shared time with us. I sincerely hope you guys are doing well.
Hayley finishing her sophomore year of high school at a really neat STEM high school. She runs cross country and plays basketball and soccer for her high school and hangs out a lot with her friends, etc so her gaming time is a lot less. She’s a pretty nifty young adult – but I’m biased of course. She says she played webkinz a bit longer but when everything went premium, she lost interest but she too was tickled to see people asking about us and says hello!
Not much else has changed – I’m still develop/produce sports websites, still married to Jeff. We still live in NC, in the same house. I tried to log in every so often to keep those webkinz acct active but eventually that fell by the wayside. I’ve been curious about how the game has developed and changed – it really was remarkably fun. I played a logic/strategy game called Mousehunt for a few years but quit when it too got too premium and I’ve played some BattleNations too but if I play anything it’s more short stuff on my iphone or the occasional random run at Minecraft.
Sending all our old kinz friends a big hug and thanks for all the good times!

I just noticed that Egyptian room divider up there….I got one off a pack of cards a while ago……..same as when I got the test tubes……
and I finally remembered. the scuttlebutt at the time was that ganz was sticking that stuff in cards as they had retired the scientist theme

I am very excited for college! I took AP chemistry last year, and took AP environmental science, literature & composition, computer science, and calculus this year. they were all pretty tough but I somehow managed lol.

Got a hold of YD friend’s mom and they gave me a name for her dragon so I could adopt for her. Turns out both their lap top and i pod broke on them so that’s why YD hadn’t heard from the friend. She named her Tenzi. So all our dragons done now. Named OD friend’s dragon Sharpay after High School Musical. She was the friend’s favorite character from the movies when they were little.

the scottish fold cat is cute but not POTM club price cute. anyone’s better off getting POTM pets from ebay or the code lady especially if you don’t to have the plush.

I would like to do it but that is more than I want to spend at one time. I like the plushes although we already have way too many in the house. I have a goat for next month the plush is cute not real impressed by the pictures of the online version though. I still need 6 more I think to get the rest of the potm items.

I noticed something before but didn’t think anything of it at the time but now I am curious so I thought I would ask. The bubble outfit the first part said deluxe appreciation day the rest said customer appreciation day so my question is have they had customer appreciation days before? they had days where they gave away eStore codes but usually around christmas or after. that’s why we know they rollover after 8pm EST and we get seconds then.
but they didn’t have sales together with the freebies so this is a little different.
plus the freebies were unrelated to each other in the past (and untradeable) but this time there’s a whole outfit to be collected and we get one piece of it at a time.
not sure how it relates to webkinz x. i suspect webkinz x has to do with doing away with flash. and if not, it should. flash will be unsupported on chrome by this fall.
