I have a friend who lives in the Boston area, she was already going stir crazy the beginning of the month from school closings and having to work at home. I saw on a weather site they have gotten around 70 inches so far this winter.

Have any of you played Amazing world? I had to do the mayor on Safari with all the adds and clicked on it just to see. Made an account and got to level 10. Can you cancel the automatic renewal like with webkinz? There are prizes for linking the account to webkinz and getting to a specific level. I got the first two but you can’t go above level 10 without a membership. There are prizes at level 15 and 20 too. Plus it was kind of fun if a little youngish. I bought YD a couple of the toys awhile back when they were on sale but she never did anything with them.

I only know of one prize for linking AW to WW, the cute tree. We haven’t bought a membership yet though I was considering it. It has to go through AW not the estore which I don’t like. I don’t want the estore points to be stuck in AW, unless there is a way to set them to go to my estore account.

Dee, dang, that is crazy for your area!
We have gotten a good bit of new snow and are now under the severe cold … it has gotten up to a roaring -9 now.
Poor Dundee, yesterday when I took him out the first time he was all like bounce around for the first 2 minutes till the cold nixed that. Then he did his number one and we were walking to find the spot for number two … he stopped walking and was trying to pick up his feet … he couldn’t walk any farther .. so I scooped him up and took him inside to thaw the ice off his feet and warm him up.
Temperature correction .. it is now -5 W00T not, lol

Enchant my question is how do you cancel the renewal, it doesn’t say anywhere that you can do it in the estore like the deluxe does. Was hoping someone had payed so they knew. YD thinks it looks cool. I just don’t want to go to a lot of hassle to cancel and what if the only way is to delete the account. I tried searching online with no luck. My the reviewers on Steam are interesting. I had to tell YD not to read over my shoulder some of them were a tad mature in nature.

zingy, add Ghostery to your browser. Then when you turn off AdBlock Plus so you can see Cowabelle, the ads are still blocked, yet you can still click on Cowabelle. Plus Ghostery blocks tracking so you have a bit more privacy when you browse. On 15 accounts, over 2 days, I have gotten the boots and plush a lot, 1 sign, 1 rainbow boots (which were a mystery bag prize for whomever asked) 1 jacket, 2 shorts, and 2 hats. I also got 1 purple parka from a Cowabelle letter.

For those who were asking about Amazing World membership–I literally just started playing this month. I did the free account thing up to level ten, and then decided to try a six month membership to see what it was like. I got a free zing (Cherish) for buying membership in February, and I got a free zing from the estore for buying the membership, and I got a free plush zing for buying the membership, plus I get 3500 estore points a month for six months. So for 3 free zings and 21000 estore points for $19.99, I thought that was a good deal. Yes, you can cancel membership in the estore just the same way you cancel Webkinz Deluxe. Exact same process. The purchase of AW membership shows up in your “manage account” page same as the Webkinz Deluxe. I have already gotten to XP level 50 (playing Mech-a-Nix Mayhem really boosts your XP level–200 XP points each time you win) and got all the linked account prizes, so I thought it was a good deal. someone had suggested ghostery earlier on FB so i did try it but was still slow and my webbie froze in the park (i could see cowabelle but i couldn’t get my webbie to move to her).
could have been a ganz glitch too but i just removed ghostery from chrome after that.

zingy, try Ghostery with Firefox. Works for me really well. I play Webkinz on a brand new computer though, so that might help. I don’t know how old or slow your computer is.

Thanks Dee and Momskinz. I just looked at the WI wiki the stuff is listed under those categories. I did a few of the POTM videos with YD awhile ago but they kind of drove me up the wall and we didn’t know which ones gave out prizes. I saw a list of those that had prizes last week on WI but so far I had just book marked it.
My first pet is a lil Chihuahua when the seasons change I’ll trade out the winter hat Krafty gave me that Koala hat.
