for the muffalettas
I cut crusty French bread about 1/4 inch thick
added minced garlic to olive oil in a bowl then brushed both sides
chopped green olives and added them to a store bought black olive tapenade I had. (just the Kroger store brand- I think it is private selection)
shredded string cheese sticks and put just a few “strings” on each bread.
baked at 425 for about 5 min until the cheese just started to melt.
fought family off to each them….I am betting you could freeze them too and them pop them out as folks show up…

Fabulous with jeans!! was scoping out boots in Boscov’s today. Fantastic sale prices, super cool boots, too many for me to decide so I got nuttin’. π³ one cutie pair of real high up shaft, but very walkable heel were only $19.99! π― really nice boots, not junky stuff! need to return something I got for my mom, so I might work harder to make a decision about the boots again tomorrow.

I was at some store the other day at the deli
and they had a pic of tomatoes sliced with mozzarella (the good stuff) all stacked up with balsamic vinegar drizzled over it and a basil leaf on top.
my mouth started watering sooooo bad . And I do not even like tomatoes! or tomahtoes……..

no i just planted extras so even if i forgot to weed some of them every day i still got to harvest one (only one needed for the challenge)
some accounts had all 4 ripen. a few had only 2 ripen. one account only had 1 ripen but that was enough to get it to step 3

my honey had a tummy ache last night from some not so well cooked rice at work (apparently someone in the office sponsored a korean food truck lunch).
we were picking up a package from fedex and had to make an emergency stop to pick up pepto bismo from target.
it worked and half an hour later we were having fried chicken in the mall.
got to pick up some 70% off candy too at target plus a maple bacon betty crocker cookie mix for 77 cents

waaaaaaaay back in the day, I was low man on the totem pole at work and had to give a coworker a ride home as they did not feel well,,,,he was chugging pepto
all I could think of was “not in my car, not in my car”
poor guy felt so bad…..he was polite enough to tell me to pull over….
I was soooo happy to get promoted and not have to do stuff like that anymore

subsalicylate isn’t exactly the same as aspirin. it’s in the same family so caution is advised for someone allergic to aspirin.
it hasn’t caused more upset stomach for us fortunately. we go thru bottles of the stuff (honey likes to eat spicy stuff and all you can eat buffet, both of which can get his tummy upset when he gets carried away).

My dad used to guzzle Maalox and it worked well for FFQ, the liquid is the best and fastest working. We haven’t been able to find it in some time though. It is a shame as Tums etc don’t work as well.
