New Pet Retirement Program & Daisy Doe’s Vegetable Festival
Instead of one pet retiring each week,  one pet will be retiring each month AND players with the retiring pet get to play Count the Sailboats every Sunday of the month. Retired pet owners will also receive a special gift box on the last Sunday of the month that’s filled with goodies.
The first pet to have a monthly retirement event is the Panda. Webkinz Panda owners can play the Counting Sailboats game EVERY Sunday this month and try to win a rare piece of clothing that can ONLY be won by playing the game.
Panda owners can also pick up a special gift box from Today’s Activities on Sunday September 28th. What’s in the giftbox will be revealed on WKN on Monday September 8.

spa has to go in a little early today for a review session, then i have to go straight to my mom’s to move her clothes and such for her. right now, the minute i get the warthogs off to school, i’m helping her until time for them to get home, then it’s homework & extra curricular time – get home, shower, bed – restart … kind of feeling like groundhog day without enough sleep

Yep, the wkn acorns definitely don’t count when peeps send you requests. My Asian is behind since I’m in a later time zone and can’t get to the wkn floaty before the requests come in in the morning.
So if someone sent you a request already, you can just skip the wkn acorn on that account since it won’t help.

WKN acorns work only if you do them before other peeps send you requests – requests mess them up.
I confirm that the WKN notice (congrats, you received an acorn from wkn) is on the account before sending out requests.
If peeps send you requests before you get your WKN acorn, it won’t add to your tally.

My sis is arriving from NYC tomorrow for a weeklong visit and I prolly will get behind so I’m trying to get as many acorns done as possible while I can.
dee, you can send to any of mine except for 4567 (my Asian) since I try and do them immediately after midnight and they won’t be affected (I’ve never seen you up after midnight KT). Or send to 5 of your other accounts (you have at least 7 accounts, right?) – max needed is 5 requests from friends so you even if you send out 10 requests, only 5 will count. That’s what I do for mine.

ooo. a tatoo. i feel i’m a wee bit behind the times with only two piercings and that’s one per earlobe. no tattoo in sight.
anyway, my sis will be coming tomorrow night so i may not be able to pop in as much in the next few days and won’t have as much ww time so i made a room with all the prizes i’ve gotten so far. it’s kinda a copy of someone’s fall room with the wallpaper that has beautiful fall foliage on trees (which i don’t have).

Hello everyone, I just love the fall room you made zingyginger. I am just going to get the second prize today but sure hope I can do the acorn collection 3 or 4 times! I love the prizes. I really like the new way of retiring pets, I hope little kinz pandas work too? It will take me a month of Count the sail boats to get a clothing prize! & thats with my fingers crossed 😀 I hope they bring out the LadyBug pet soon, I really like that one & do not see any new birds coming out 🙁

i feel for Melissa and her family-it was supposed to be a routine throat procedure done in an office. tho am kinda puzzled about what happened that she ended up unconscious when she was transferred to the hospital and never woke up.
she is the kinda person who wants us to celebrate her life. that’s what her humor was about. taking what is unfair and sad in life that we avoid talking about it. she makes us laugh then start a conversation about what matters.

The discussion did cause me to reflect on my parents… lots mom is 2012 and dad in 2013… both Libras and both stubborn and both would not do as the doctors told them… it isn’t easy to watch the decline especially when they can do things to help make life some easier and potentially longer…

from what I read, it looks like she went into cardiac arrest during the procedure – it was probably just a fluke timing or something accelerated by the anesthesia or whatever, but you never expect it in that kind of case – just ugh …
i did end up logging into 6 accounts just for acorns before midnight 🙂
