update our repairs
The guy fixing my water problem couldnt come yestereday, which I am very happy about because I would like to remove all the bushes myself.
Spent the day working on the pool and buying more chemicals….
I hate the expense, but the kids love it so much.

Its my birthday, haha. I got the Doodle Fab Doodle in the mail today, hideous pet, hopefully the virtual version is manageable, maybe a gorgeous psi? We’ll find out the 16th, lol. My birthday was July 7th 1977, yet i have horrible luck, that FobDoodle system problem is another one to add to the list. Oh well. I had an amazing birthday! For an hour we were all together, then everyone retreated to there rooms or left for a friends house, and it was just me and my youngest. I hope everyone had an amazing day!

They were delayed, unknown reason. Then they were to arrive today around noon. BUT.. then they decided to go to an aunt’s house in Michigan last night and still get here today BUT.. the uncle who was in an accident recently.. was being sent home today.. not the best idea, really should have gone to a nursing home for therapy and more recovery before home.. so they were going to stay long enough to see hm get home and see if the aunt can actually do the care he needs.. she did training yesterday for him … she is a small lady and he is a larger though not obese ..
Having cared for someone straight from hospital when they should have gone to a home first for awhile .. it was tough… and I was much younger then they are.. the couple is retirement age and his health isn’t great. He won’t do as the doctors say..

BOB has to pull the information from them.. ridiculous.. stay in touch and keep your hosts informed. While here they have a problem with letting me know when they will be here or gone for meals, etc.. some chores are best and easiest done when not so may under foot, lol.

that’s tough! when my mother had her first breaks, she did not want to do the rehab, so i brought her home and cared for her – it was very difficult, when she broke her femur last year, she did the rehab and was miserable the whole time she was in the place and required almost as much of my time as she did when she left there and came here lol
i love the PT of being in a facility with the pros, but the dependence on nurses and facilities leave a lot to be desired since you aren’t their only patient …

My mom didn’t want to stay-stay in the home but was ok being there for rehab. She loved to socialize, lol, and at times had a captive audience 😉 Having to do the PT was good for her. At home, they would send a PT person and a visiting nurse. Before she went to the hospital and home for the last time.. she was also getting a visiting bather person. She insisted on only using the disposable bathing clothes that don’t need rinsing… when they sent the bathing person.. she was .. WOW this is great.. O_O lol
Loved her anyway lol and miss that crazy lady much.

Being at the mercy of people showing up when they should or answering a call button.. that isn’t great… sometimes my sister would have to hunt down the appropriate person to remind them our mom had called for assistance or was waiting for her meds, etc… not good..

What a wonderful day!
My grandson is 5 years old today and we had a perfect celebration.

No Zingy, those aren’t mine. The giraffe(Sadly) was sold out buy the time I was on Amazon, and i didn’t know if they’d put it back in stock this month, and I didn’t want to wait till August for a new pet, so I got the FabDoodle, and then I figure out its not in the program. When I got the FabDoodle in the mail it was WAY cuter in person than on Amazon, they posted a picture of the Bubble gum mammoth sneak peak on Fb ganz estore page btw, the nose kinda freaks me out… Thx for the Christmas in July info, I didn’t know if they sold Christmas crackers or not in that month, I need to get the ice prince hat, shoes, and shirt and the ice princess dress and hat from the first bags. I think I bought around 13 of them this Christmas just to get the Light Up Antlers, I think my daughter put them on a pet for one day. I guess they don’t put the crackers in estore in Christmas in July though, I guess ill wait for the actual Christmas. Thx again for the info.
