   Hey all!

   I’m a bit on the fence about the laptop, Zingy. I’ve had 2 HP brand laptops and an HP netbook mini so this ASUS is very different plus WIndows 8. That’s a lot of adjusting for a old lady, lol. The laptop itself came with a ten page quick start booklet, lol but it has a built in manual which I read this morning.

   I am trying to find out how to permanently turn off the live tiles. I click where it said turn off but it didn’t work. No list of programs anymore, they are called apps now.

   I don’t like that it does “see” the faster speed network connection and when I tried to install off the CD that went ok but when it was time to put the actual adapter in the USB port, it didn’t “see” the adapter at all, in any of the 3 USB ports. I really want to be able to use that faster network speed.

   Hey, Momsk!

   I was going to suggest we watch Clash of the TItans together here but BOB was out mowing and didn’t change and shower to has brought in a load of pollens, which are heavy here again this year, so I am postponing that plan till the family room can be de-pollened and BOB too. I had to retreat to my room to be able to breathe 🙁

    Is anyone else having problems logging into webkinz today? I have been having troubles since early this morning. It was logging in fine then.. I submit to log in and the screen acts like it is going to load but it stays green.. nothing more. SO I try again to bring up the login page and submit again, the second time it goes through.. but.. early early this morning the second time brought up a trojan warning from McAfee, I can vault it ok and then it goes on… O_O

    The gifts changed in the WN to tangerine stuff.
    I wish they had kept the stripe theme going longer.

    I agree, KG, I wish they would have WW have more holiday events. Wouldn’t be hard o do.

    Like with the retirement pets, they could easy make it more special, unique retirement theme items, etc.

    when it came out I watched it as I am science fiction…..then it was weird, the I got caught up in the whole soap opera aspect of it……….

    Dang on the Defiance marathon, I might have gotten to see it but with BOB pollinating the family room.. I will miss it again. I keep trying to get him to set up the TV broadcasting thing that he already owns but nothing happens. He used to use it to send TV to his room downstairs, not sure why he stopped that since he spend much of his TV time just sleeping anyway…

    He has mentioned getting me a TV for my room several times now but, nothing happens with that either. There was a fab sale on last Black Friday too. Oh well…

    I have netflix, but my phone/computer/TV carrier Verizon, has movies too.

    Watch32 is a site my granddaughter has used to watch movies.

    Yes I can watch movies on my computer and laptops and phone. Netflix, Hulu, .. Crackle.. I’ve never heard of Watch32. SOme of the TV station websites have shows you can watch.

    FFQ can still wear a lot of last summer’s clothing but could use a few more things. PB78.. needs some new things. FFQ’s ld stuff is still at my sister’s place where we used to live.
