Mother’s Day Freebies (some of these are repeats of what momsk posted earlier)
Starbucks: Buy one, get one free Teavana Oprah Chai on Mother’s Day in Starbucks stores.
Boston Market: Buy any individual meal, and get one individual meal for Mom free. (Valid with any Individual Meal, Whole Sandwich, Whole Sandwich Combo, Salad Bowl or Market Bowl. )
KFC: Snag a free family-sized cake (in rich double chocolate chip or sweet lemon) with the purchase of a 10-piece meal or larger.
Roy Rogers: Get a free combo meal for Mom with the purchase of a kidâ€™s meal.
Hooters: Moms can get a free entree up to $10 with any drink purchase at a Hooters restaurant. About 35,000 moms took advantage of the “free entrÃ©e” deal last year, the company said.
McCormick & Schmicks: Free chocolate-covered strawberry for every mother.
Hurricane Grill & Wings: In honor of Mother’s Day, participating restaurants are offering a free dessert of choice with purchase.
TCBY: Free 6 oz. frozen yogurt for Mom at select locations.
Parker & Quinn; Refinery Rooftop: Parker & Quinn, located in Refinery Hotel in New York City, will be offering Mother’s complimentary desserts upon dining at the restaurant, and Refinery Rooftop will be giving mothers complimentary flowers and chocolates upon entering the Rooftop.
Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop: The sandwich franchise will be handing out coloring pages to kids in stores and at the bottom of each page is a voucher that moms can redeem for a free 9-inch sandwich or salad from Mother’s Day through May 17 at all Capriotti’s locations.
Redbox: Through Sunday, May 11, Redbox users can reserve any select movie/game online and get $.50 off a select DVD. The list includes new mom-friendly releases, the company said, like About Time; August: Osage County; and Labor Day, plus movies/games for the whole family, like Mario Kart (for the Wii) and Frozen.
BloomNation: BloomNation is offering a 15 percent off code for all ABC News fans. The code will be “ABCNEWS15” and will be valid until May 31. Each customer receives a “BloomSnap,” which is a photo of the completed arrangement before it’s delivered so customers know that what they ordered is what the recipient will receive, through same-day hand delivery service.

I just got home.
Ran my granddaughter around all day trying to get materials for her to make a robot for school. I hate these school projects that come with so little info.
So then I went to the store because my hubby wanted stuff.
I am beat.

What a day, KG! Nice you got to spend time with your dgd but… projects.. yikes!
BOB and PB78 went to do take out for breakfast this morning from a local restaurant and the food was not very good, burnt, flavorless.. the restaurant did not do a good job this time.

you have to feed tons of berries from the jumble berry game to get the prizes but peeps have reported getting the moonberry pond, quilt, farmers overalls, baker’s outfit, jumbleberry sign and the oven
