tigerlily pup is very cute! I have the other Cheshire Cat; not sure about this one with the green eyes.
Krafty, I have an iphone. couldn’t use the map direction thingy because I didn’t know what places were called. I checked the roads several times from where it said I was, then couldn’t find the road I needed. it was a mess, but L was a good sport and getting a good laugh out of my frustrations.
Momma Mia is on the family channel if anyone is interested. love this movie!

gramma, google map is very forgiving so if you have a rough name to input, a lot of times, it gets you where you need to go. i’ve put in not so accurate names of hotels and shopping malls and it somehow figures it out. do you have the google map app downloaded on your iphone?

I loved the movie “The Book Thief” too. It really stayed true to the book.
I am so glad I read the book first so many details they couldn’t include in the movie.
My grandddaughter had to do a report and compare the movie to the book.
I think she learned alot, I did too.

zingy, I have the map app that came on the phone. I’ll get the google one tomorrow. I have a paper print out of driving instructions to all the sports fields. Coming in from a different road ‘to’ the field yesterday, was an unavoidable bad choice. No clue how we got turned so sideways trying to get home. Except construction was confusing the entrance to the road we needed to head south again. huge WHEW when we finally found it.
Making a note to hunt out ‘The Book Thief’. 🙂

Gramma, totally google maps is a winner.. if I even come close to the name or location it gets me there and back home. Enable GPS and it can use your location and get you to a destination.. way better than the iphone one.

Waze got bought by Google so Google Maps has some Waze features added but it’s still a separate app. My honey loves Waze; I find it a little more complicated to use compare to Google Maps but it helps if you want to know where cops are or where traffic might be.
