This is what got me distracted last night when I was trying to organize and find items in my docks. I finally opened the Webkinz Day Gift Boxes and placed them in rooms.
I think I must have started in year 4 and somehow got the trophy for year 3 (I definitely couldn’t find the print for year 3 and if I ever had the cake, it’s been eaten, lol). Will have to tweak this some more later but for now I’m happy with what I have in it.

i meant to comment on krafty’s rooms earlier but after taking screenshots of each and loading them on tinypic to embed them on the blog, i ran out of time
love all the rooms but especially the following:
it’s great how you mixed and matched the wkn freebies (striped furniture & blue wallpaper) with the superfan theme; the grumpy cat bed looked perfect there.
love the kitchen counter grouping for the polka dot room. i also liked how you mixed in the trading card furniture with the theme.
that was a great use of the shelving to create a whole new look for the cinnamon bun bed. bravo! my honey and i could probably use shelving like that in real life. our nightstands are overflowing with reading material.
another outstanding pairing is the starry theme and blooming room items. you even managed to use the starry theme nightstand as a breakfast table-clever!
congrats on getting the crib for the nursery-i wish they’d sell it outright instead of the chance of getting it in the mystery bags. the baby penguin in the egg onesie’s too cute!

the kid who wrangled me into this started sometime in 2008 but we didn’t know better so we ate cakes and sold some nice items to wshop, lol. i finally opened my own accounts later in 2009 (must have been before webkinz day), got year 3 from a trade and the rest of the gift boxes i just opened recently.
i remember it was kinda simpler before and sooo much easier to find stuff in the docks but also that kinzcash was hard to come by that we made more medium sized rooms (cheaper and easier to fill)
every time i managed to get upwards of 30,000 kc then, the little one would make a room and zero out the account. i’d come along and think someone must have hacked it!

it’s great that we can now re-use wallpaper. i used to burn through 10,000 kc just picking the right walls and floors.
my polka dot room is a little more spare but i haven’t figured out what to add to it yet
i think i like the first fireplace better, moms. the width/size balances the kitchen out on the other side of the room. either way, it’s very pretty! where is that piano from, eStore?

hi all, I’ve had a miserable 2 days….son called me yesterday from college to tell me the radiator blew on his car (i just paid $1200 to have the head gasket replaced)….and tonight, while at church, my front tire went completely flat!! So now I have the donut spare on it and will have to find a place tomorrow to have it fixed or replaced….hubby and a family friend are going Saturday to my son’s college (about an hour and a half away) to tow the car back here so we can have it fixed….hubby still hasn’t heard back from anyone on his job applications, I need to win the lottery or something…..I’m stressing so much over all this….
