   I remember a couple years ago and rf gave up the blog for Lent…so I had to email her every stinkin comment………too funny………

   fat Tuesday and orthodontist! we need to call in morn to see if they will even be open………

   I am leaning towards a chicken gumbo or chicken jambalaya……..or getting dd a microwave dinner and we eat what we want!

   what is Andouille sausage? I do not think I have ever had it. is it like chorizo?

   we usually do smoked turkey sausage in my jambalayas

   dh was talking crawdads………him and the cats can fight over that…..
   plus good luck finding them…every crick is froze up

    I slice and fry up the sausage, then peppers and onions, add some chicken broth and hot sauce and red beans over rice……works for us Midwestern folks

    when I do the soup, I add chicken and more broth……it is really stinkin good….we have it with cornbread (jalapeno)

    is Andouille pork or beef or both?

    right now it is depending on what I can find at Kroger tomorrow!
    I will try the Andouille if I can find it………

    I have had chorizo in stuff,. it is pretty greasy…but me and dh like spice

    so lookin like a nukey for dd

    andouille isn’t usally that greasy like chorizo

    usually pork – kroger should have some – even if it’s johnsonville

    i like aidells …

    Good morning to all

    LONG day…

    Took PB78 across town to school, came home, updated some device apps, some webkinz.. made sure FFQ was moving for her Monday class… which ended up being cancelled…

    Ran post office errand… got FFQ her MsD’s lunch wish…

    Did a ton of hamster maintenance .. cage cleaning, moving hammies around..

    Got to doing the cage transfer for Splatt and her snacksters… easier to have spare cages.. then can just move hammie to fresh cage and then wash the vacated one…

    Well… moved her and went to move the babies… there are NOT eight babies..

    There are 10, yes ten babies…

    Soooo Karfty will be gifting all regular blog members with a lovely snackster.. or two 🙂

    Hey all

    Yes, Momsk, 10 and Splatt seems to be doing well although she did reject having the pappa put back in the tank with her.. he was all wanting to check out the new nursery hut with her and she was all NO, do not look at the babies and DO NOT touch me again! lol plush she found him and made him scream so I just took him out and gave him bachelor digs.. for now. I’m going to call my old vet and see if he will do a snip snip on the two boys… 😀

    WOWzerz Dee, I didn’t know re Bloomin and Super Fan new items, I’m liking those a lot. I love the Bloomin theme and have used some of the super fan theme.. I will be stocking up when they are available again.
