WShop Renovation
The WShop is getting redesigned! All the main categories will be listed along the left side of the shop, with subsections listed at the top.
New categories have been added to the new and improved WShop including a section where you can adopt pets. You’ll also be able to shop for eStore items. To celebrate, EVERYONE will be given 2000 FREE eStore Points to spend when you log in on February 19th.
The Café room theme and Sports room theme will retire to Deluxe Members on February 19th with the release of the new WShop.
The NEW WShop arrives in Webkinz World on February 19th. Keep an eye out for sales and NEW seasonal furniture arriving soon, too.

It does take a long time, but the dragon music box is just so cute and webbies love the slide.
They are closing the dialysis center tomorrow, this has never happened. So we are going tonight, they are staying open to get everyone in today.

I am a mini prepper…mostly due to living out in the country and no one wants to drive to town for little stuff……..the only thing that we are short of is water….my darling dh gifted me with a water purification bottle years ago…but it only does a pint at a time………

not walmart, but Home Depot and Sam’s. lol I’m the flake. dd stopped at Sports Authority for me to grab a pair of NorthFace boots I’ve been eyeing. Walk in store, and I said ‘what did they do? rearrange the whole store?’. It was Dick’s that had the boots I wanted, NOT SA. 🙄 Off to Dicks and they don’t have my size. It was a crazy day.

heard some clicking about 45 mins ago; it was the beginning of rain with sleet mixed in. looking out the window, it must have been snowing prior to this. now…it’s pouring rain with, either real big drops or sleet mixed in; putting big dents in the little snow accumulation that came before. yuk

I’ve been thinking about getting one of those kitty toys for our brood, it is a bit pricey so hadn’t gotten one yet… $20 is a lot for a kitty toy.
We do have the laser toy, from Walmart, $17 ish maybe… it looks like a hour glass shape mini tower and runs on batteries… moves a laser built in.. around but not predictable patterns. Has different speeds etc… it is very popular with the kitties.

howdy! raining rather hard AGAIN. sis and I got pedis this morning, but not girls night as dd1 is sick. So dh and I went for half price appetizers and called it dinner. now showered, jammied, and settling in. 🙂
moms, checked eagle soon as I logged on. barely any snow on the nest now and she seemed to be tidying up around the eggs or something, then settled down with them. I’m saying ‘she’ ’cause isn’t it usually the mom taking care of the brood?
if anyone’s ears were burning today it was because I was telling my sister ’bout you all. it was all good.

I went to walgreens today hoping to pick up some of their webbies. they were all gone! and all of the beef jerky hearts were gone too. so glad that I early bought dhs……..

The 35 days of incubation duties are shared by both male and female, but it is the female who spends most of her time on the nest. Trading places on the nest can be a tense time. The brooding parent may have to call for relief, or may be reluctant to leave and have to be pushed off the eggs or young. During incubation, the male bald eagle regularly brings green sprigs of conifer branches to the nest. Why he does this, no one knows, but it could be for deodorizing the nest or possibly providing shade for the eaglets.
During incubation, 98% of the time one parent remains on the nest; not only to keep the eggs warm but to protect them from squirrels, ravens, and gulls which will break open and eat the eggs. If the adults leave the nest unattended too long, it can be consequential for the eggs. Diverse weather conditions could impact the temperature of the eggs; leaving the eggs nonviable.
