@Patsie we came back from Spring break on Thurs so our week was supposed to be Thurs and Fri.
But ended up with a 3 day weekend because of the snowstorm!

wow $1 pets at dollar tree huh? lots of those around here..thanks I will check that out. I found for 1.99 the pink google, blue whale, lion fish, and I think one more, and for .99 for hamsters! I found the cinnamon, sweetie, and peace hamsters. they were asking 2.99 for ZUMS!! lol this is at a discount store called Xpect. I found the carriers there last year for .99 and figures too. those I grabbed up. sad to say never see them anywhere else around here anymore. no stores that used to carry the new ones do so now. well, other then the Cracker Barrel stores and sometimes Five below..but those are long trips for me.

anyway..as to me personally.. feeling a little better here..my Kitty is feeling much better, but being sick changed him a lot. He is now demanding to sleep at my right side ever night UNDER the covers! he never liked that before. but I am so happy the cold ran it’s course without complications.
The weather has been CRAZy here..COLD then too warm to fast..it’s what keeps getting me sick! I had to turn the heat OFF today as it got way to warm in here with the rain.. and it washed all the snow away.such a weird winter. and they say tomorrow is going to be 15 degrees again? today is in the 40’s which feels like spring to me lol
other then that not much going on around here..

I have tried several recipes, and this is our all time fav by far, and it is easy!!
Taco Soup
1 1/2 Lb Ground beef
1 Package Ranch dressing mix (dry)
1 Package Taco seasoning
2 Cans Bush’s Chili Magic
1 Large can Diced tomatoes
8 Oz Tomato sauce
1 Can Rotel (mild)
1 Can Chicken broth
1 Can Yellow corn
1 Can Cream corn
Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream, Fritos for topping
I brown the ground beef, then dump all other ingredients + the beef in the crock pot for many hours on low.

In reference to Jordan Lunders, he/she friended me the other day and I had a hinky feeling about it but accepted anyway… then the other night he/she messaged me.. did I play webkinz… yes.. did I have a webkinz accounts.. on and such.. to say would I take over a webkinz account with 99 rare webkinz… THEN.. found out he/she wanted to trade accounts… and then much later… only wanted to play in someone else’s account.. blah blah
I knew pretty fast my chain was being yanked and it ticked me off so I yanked back… 2 hours later.. lol.. he/she told me he/she hated me and blocked me..

We use to have a kerosene heater that worked great, but they are not safe.

looks like i missed a chatfest earlier today and yesterday
thanks so much to the dress fairy!
been busy this weekend as honey’s family was up from LA visiting. we went to Monterey Aquarium on Saturday and given the admission cost ($40 for adults, $25 for kids), we didn’t leave until we had our fill of the place. which meant getting back shortly before 8pm so we ended up eating dinner out.
Sunday was the day the windows got changed at my apartment so we killed the day sitting around mostly except we walked to a place to get burritos for lunch then to the twirl and dip truck at the park for a soft serve ice cream dipped in chocolate.

I love talking my grandchildren on educational trips, but the cost can be unbelievable. So glad you had a fun day!

Not so graceful lol but… the dress was too pretty not to share… π I hope all got delivered successfully… never know with the direct stuff.. but at least there is a notification now. Then I check and make sure the items are actually in my dock..

I forget who I was talking to the other day about where to get cheap webkinz (Patsie I think)… $1 at the Dollar Tree (if you have one), just basic pets. Picked up a few lil kinz googles and lil kinz frogs! Apparently they had a lot of other different pets too! Oh well.
