    Thanksgiving was always a time when my whole family got together at our house. My Mom would invite everyone in the family. It was always a very special event.
    I miss my Mom everyday, she gave our family some beautiful memories.
    Sadly, no one has continue this tradition.
    I am invited to my daughter’s house for Thanksgiving and I can’t wait.
    I am making the Pumpkin Pudding Crunch that Momskinz posted.

    When I was younger I did invite family, but could never include everyone in the family. There would be card tables everywhere all set with beautiful china and decorations. I have to find those photos and post them.

    I don’t like that the stores are making employees work on Thanksgiving. Some say they have a choice, but we all know how that works.

    Thankful for family and friends and all the people I have meet playing Webkinz here.

    I still have the majority of the items on my account that are looking for nice homes and i was hoping that some of the regulars would post their christmas lists so i could help grant some wishes, but i haven’t seen any of the regulars post on there and i don’t think i have any of the items the new people are wanting. Even if i did, i think i’d prefer to have some of the more valuable items go to people i know.

    I was a bit disappointed in the responses to the Santakinz thread… almost no regular items and… disregard to the clearly stated rules…

    I hope to be able to put a few of my remaining brain cells on making a wish list in the next day or so… maybe on the ride to my niece’s tomorrow.

    kgh – i’m not sure about the WF list??? zingy probably can answer though, she seems to be the resident expert

    i decorate them πŸ˜€ the mr. is in charge of putting them up and sometimes lights – if the lights get complicated, then that’s me (sometimes I want all the branches wrapped or something special). we have a storage room in the basement for Christmas decorations, though, so we are able to leave all the artificial trees “up” put together and most of them keep their lights on too now so that’s much easier. back when everything had to go to the attic, i had much fewer!

    Happy thanksgiving! Grateful for family and friends; mostly good health; and all the freedoms we enjoy.

    Turkey has been in oven since 7:30. Winging it, pardon pun; haven’t done a turkey in years. I’m usually responsible for green bean casserole and stuffin’ muffins. Did a whopping TA DA! When I got bird in oven. Lol

    My Pumpkin Pudding is cooking and I get a call from dialysis saying my hubby’s blood pressure went too low (had to take him off the machine) and he had trouble breathing.
    He is much better now all back to normal.
    I am bringing him home and watching to see if I should call the ambulance. He does have problems with breathing some times.
    Definitely calling the specialist tomorrow.
    For today, we will see, hospital is a possibility.
    Thankful to have options, and praying that things will be okay today.

    Please say a prayer for my hubby, his blood pressure went low and they had to take him off the dialysis machine and he had trouble breathing.
    All is okay now, but I will see, may be spending Thanksgiving at the hospital.

    I am thankful for all of you, my friends, my family, my pets, and all of the opportunities we have as Americans such as being allowed to go to school and vote.

    Thanksgiving to me is a special day where I gather with my family to celebrate all of the things and people we are thankful for.
