a score is 20 – 1.5 score = 30 – 3 = 27

If you have a Webkinz Friends account go do your quest for the the 4 pack of soda to send back to your webkinz account.. The quest is very easy to do. They also have 2 more quests there one is an acorn quest. 🙂

Does any one know when the Flower collection event in WF ends? I keep looking for a date but can’t fine one… just said early October… I’m only 3/5th done… my computer hates WF (like farmville etc) my friend’s computer runs it so much better… but need to clean the keys every time… ewwwy eats with hands, doesn’t wash, licks fingers… ewww ewww ewww!

Hi cocomac!! Couldn’t find WF app yesterday. Adopted Winston Prairie Dog and his wife Willow Hedgehog. Message said use codes for WF. Seemed too involved to mess with it.
Dgd1 officially has strep throat. No school again tomorrow. :-(. dsil needs to share wireless password so I can play while nursing. Or patient need to come to my house.

if you have an iPad, there’s a WF app for it
the app version takes 2 minutes to load and keeps crashing after a few minutes. i also had issues with crashing when i open the inventory so i haven’t played on that account in ages.
the new acorn collection (came out Oct 3, 2013) replaced the flower collection (came out June 21, 2013). alas, i don’t know if you’d still see the flower collection if you haven’t cleared your cache

I fired up my Facebook acct awhile ago, but couldn’t find WF; maybe not looking in right place. Closed FBacct again.
I drive on dd1’s property and her wifi picks up my phone and/or laptop immediately. Dd2 lives on same street as me so im not usually at her house long enough to worry about wifi.

i play on wf only for a few days every 2 to 3 mos since it takes them that long to come up with new challenges. some of the prizes are well worth the time; there’s a few that i would have happily skipped
the facebook version has more robust programming compared to the ipad which keeps crashing (tho i haven’t check the ipad since last christmas)
on fb, the gazebo took 3 days to do and the free estore soda took about an hour
there’s a third seasonal challenge available too. it’s not hard but the prize cannot be kinzposted yet and it’ll be available in the wshop for purchase anyway so you can skip it

you don’t have to click resend, moms, you can just accept the gift. when you click resend, it sends back the same type of item so you both get one in your inventory. it IS nice to accept when someone sends a request as it helps get them thru a challenge (and hopefully they’ll reciprocate when you need to request something)
the instructions from the challenges on the left is kinda a built-in walk through. for the rest, just ask away here.
no, dee. webkinz friends is on facebook.com you can use your desktop and internet explorer for it. just create the facebook account and you’re good to go. several peeps don’t use their real name for the fb account if you’re wary about privacy.
the seasonal ones are usually easy but the collection events take more time. i just try to finish them within a few days and there’s nothing to do again for another 2 or 3 months.

Anyone who sends me a friends request with some kind of webkinz, or kinz or a webbie pic, I just accept them cause they are looking for neighbors to help with challenges. Some make a separate FB account just for WF or other apps so as to not clog their personal one or for only the app.

You can start playing without adopting. You need to build buildings so you can harvest acorns from them.

After you build something, you will be asked to supply the building with kc, food, clothing, packages and wait before you can harvest. The waiting and harvest times vary.

I have a netbook and it is nice and small but it is slow, really no power, can’t multi task…. and for a while now, will not hold a charge, it must be plugged in to work at all and.. since it is supposed to be portable.. well that puts a snag in the portability, lol.

Moms click on your houses a couple of times each day.
Buy more the more you click the more you get to collect the
acorns.
The acorns are much easier to collect this time compare to the flowers.
Make sure you do the one that asks for 10 acorns, then ask your friends for the haunted house parts.

dee, it only seems confusing at the beginning. this is like having challenges on ww except you have to be able to balance your resources, money and energy to do it
focus on the steps to get the estore pack of soda, i got it done last night after i decided to start a new fb account to help you out (it’s been a while since i’ve started wf, the only way i could figure out what you’re asking about is to see the beginning again).
it’s a little bit easier in some ways than before-plants don’t wilt anymore (so no rushing to the computer to harvest before they wilt) and you can have unlimited plants (so no waiting to harvest all your plants before you could set up new ones)

Here are the steps to get the Fall Fest Soda
From this Challenge, you will receive 2 prizes that can be sent to WW: a Fall Patterned Leggings (same as from WShop) and Fall Fest Soda 4-Pack (same as the one purchased from eStore)
You have to use the sugar maple that appears in your inventory for the next step. Bought maples won’t work.

It might be cause I don’t read the awards clearing enough but once in a while, you win an item you need to use for the next step of a challenge.. like the maple tree thingy. I went to buy one, didn’t get credit for it and THEN found out that I needed to use the one in my storage I had “won” in order to count..

yes they mostly work (a few pets haven’t been programmed in yet but many are). hope you find the used codes, dee!
i have you as a neighbor so not sure why you can’t see me. i use chrome as my browser, if that makes any difference.
to see furniture, click on the left side of your house (blue cream and purple building with square hedges). that’ll take you inside and when you click on kinzmart, it’ll show you furniture then.
unless you find your big stash of used codes and opt for kc with each adoption, wait to decorate until you have several buildings/houses/plants set up. kc goes out the window fast and you want it for purchasing items towards challenges or plants or buildings.
i’ve been selling decorations back after i’m done with a challenge to keep up my kc. as a bonus, less decorations means your game loads faster.
be careful harvesting-do not cut down a neighbor’s tree as they won’t grow back.

what is your build impasse from? which building(s) did you buy? you should be able to add the blue mobile home but the townhouse and stone loft might have town requirements that you haven’t met yet.

i wouldn’t worry to much about the halloween challenge with the cursed chair-the building kit prize cannot be kinzposted yet until maintenance on Wednesday by then you can simply buy it directly from the WShop in WW.

see the four icons above the pet on the upper right hand side? you need to harvest materials to fill up the box next to the hammer icon (at least enough to build your house or building). either chop down trees (they won’t grow back so don’t chop ’em if you want to keep them as decor) or buy a plant from the kinzmart with a hammer icon next to it (they’ll produce building materials). pick an elm (15 minutes), pine (1 hour) or maple tree (30 minutes) and plant it. after waiting the requisite time (in parenthesis), it’ll be ready for harvest then you can build. each building consumes various amounts of material.

get acorns by harvesting buildings/houses
follow directions on post 101 to get soda
you can win gems by building a WOW and spinning it daily but keep in mind you do NOT need gems to get thru challenges, they’re like eStore points you can use to speed you up in the game or buy decoration
and there was a fall challenge and now it is gone
if you followed all the steps on post 101, you may have already won the eStore soda (a 4 pack). check your inventory and if it’s there, you can sent it to your WW account

there have been two percy Jackson movies made. first one was cool. dd and a friend went to the second (mostly due to the actor who plays percy) and she said it was okay….I will definitely rent it on dvd as I like all the books. I like the storyline and characters…..It is a good series if you are into any of that teeny wizardy power thing….and rick riordan has a very good rep with his books.

full dee is appetizers, desserts, fancy breakfast and entertaining home games or outer venues (dependent upon guest ; includes shopping and museums or historical sites). Some guests like to see things…..I would say 95 percent like hanging here and playing games and eating. Games include, badminton, horseshoes and board games and card games…..around any holiday, we also do fireworks…..so yeah…pretty much a full dee…………..
