Hello everyone, hope you all have had a great weekend. I have not been on much as friday morning at 1:00 Am our apartment building was set on fire, we lost the whole 5th floor, I live with my family on the 4th floor. a little to close to home for me. thank god no one died, but so many have lost their homes. 🙁
Just stopping by to say hello & ask for your prays in finding the arsonist soon!
this is the 4th fire this month and all were arson. 🙁

zingy – it’s interesting, i took her to walmart to get some things she needs, you don’t think about it, but she can’t get a case of bottled water, it’s hard to reach certain items for herself, so i’m glad i can help

and I got some bad news today my great nephew is in the hospital, he has some issues with pain and got tired of being in pain as nothing seems to help him! so you can guess what he tried to do for the third time!
I am ticked at me sister for not telling me all, I may have been able to step in and help, still may be able to when he comes home again. my family can NOT understand the being in pain thing..they never could as they don’t experience it, however I do and I told her right out that she should have told me what was really going on instead of hiding it all. I am going to do what I can to encourage him to push through the pain it isn’t easy, I know that, but I have to try to help him, I’m hoping the fact that we share a similar problem will get him to open up to me. He is a TWIN, and his twin doesn’t get it either as he doesn’t have the pain issues. so sad cause he is so young.
other then that still waiting for the plastic surgeon to let me know if the insurance will cover surgery.
and I LOVE the new Wacky stuff..I broke down and bought the bed..sigh..I just love wacky.

Back from the vet’s with the kitten, Kutee… very dehydrated to top off other issues… he got an antibiotic shot, wormed and I took a bag of saline IV fluids home to treat him… gave him his first treatment of the IV, he did not like that at all… he is napping now.. he might make it but… in about an hour I will wake him (if not awake) for a dose of nutrical and see if I can get him to drink water on his own.
This vets’ office is not value priced but being country vets they are very good. I told them my background of pet care as I used to give our dogs and cats their shots, the birds and small critters I used to breed… my pom who had addisons and sometimes needed IV fluids.. so I do a lot of the care myself and see me doing more the more they get to know me.. They also don’t sugar coat things, which I like.. just the facts no matter how sad they might be..

Kutee Update:
Post nap, I gave him some Nutrical… he wasn’t thrilled with it but… it went down and stayed down… he did #1 a good bit 😀 and #2 yippee lol.
FFQ helped him with his water to drink… he finally got the jist of drinking lol and then was yum yum water! He drank quite a bit once he stopped sticking his nose in it then snorting water, duh.. ha ha. Then FFQ took him to his plate with chicken where he ate on his own.. remembering that it was tasty food!

We let Roman out of his cage downstairs so we could use it for Kutee if he was doing better, since he is about 2 months old he should be able to use a litter box, bowls etc…
Roman had injured his shoulder and was on confinement for a spell… he seems to be better so it was time. Crazy cat, he has been wanting outside so finally outside like he wanted and … yes.. after a time he wanted to come in, walk around check things out and then outside again, lol … male!
Kutee woke a short time ago, ate the last of the chicken, roughed up the paper plate, lol, pawed the water dish, stood IN the water dish and drank more water… FFQ got the cage cleaned up and ready for the new resident.
FFQ was putting his box with the pet heating pad in it, into the cage and getting it plugged back in and I was holding Kutee who was not happy about the transport and wait time, lol. I put his dishes of canned food and kibble in the cage and set him next to the canned food dish and he was on it and eating regardless of FFQ needing to move the cage to get close to a wall socket, lol.
After being settled he was crying so I picked a webbie to give him and FFQ took it to him… he was still crying after that so FFQ went down to sit with him til he fell asleep… well… that isn’t quite how things went down… he was all poor pitiful Kutee and pawing at her between the bars so she took him out and he fell asleep in her lap. I did remind her SHE was supposed to be in charge NOT the tiny kitten… hahaha
Hopefully he will sleep a while… he was much more active after his evening napping and eating more.. 🙂

I already have the Lady Ostrich, She is really cute, I really like the Tea cup Yorkie! I think I will look for that one in Oct.

Only one kitten in this time. There are 4 in the garage that are a few weeks old and 5 that are a couple weeks old and another batch that are close in age to the youngest ones… their mom moved them again… don’t know where as yet.
