I hope I remember to log in and play the sail boat game. My beaver is on my main account… we will be mobile much of today and, once again, I am so loving being able to take tech on the road with us.
I wish it was possible/easier to be in WW while in transit. Changing of the towers is not WW friendly.

G’Morning!!
is anyone else drooling over those french doors in the pic of the new coconut theme??? poked around estore, but couldn’t find them; maybe soon.
Was able to pick up the Marble Cat and the Choco Cheeky Dog at B.A.M!!!! 🙂 no bargain; ‘least they had them. 🙄
off for a pedi and shopping with dd1 today. fun times for sure! 😀

love them but i couldn’t bring myself to gamble on buying the bags for a chance to get them. maybe they’ll make them available another way.
i got back from dinner with my hon’s folks and a little shopping at nordstrom’s anniversary sale (returned an item but didn’t see the marc jacobs bag i was hoping to find on sale) and saw that the post has closed. fortunately also saw the announcement for wacky fest so it was easy peasy. moms, have you ever seen a good sale on marc jacobs bags?
yup, not doing the peeks for something we already got before. good to have a break from wkn. did you hear trip to the zoo or the house is a zoo, dee? 🙂

i should correct what i said earlier. i’m looking for a marc by marc jacobs bag (his secondary line), not a marc jacobs bag-the latter is priced more dearly than i’d pay for (maybe in another life where i can get driven around in a town car).
i have a few kate spades (evening bags, clutches & totes) but the nylon doesn’t age well and the big leather bag is too heavy for me.
this is the style i’m looking for but in black. alas the black m by mj doesn’t go on sale at nordstrom, it just gets carried over into the next season.

No way I’d carry extra people with me… oy!
I do want to take a “grown-up” coloring book though… we found… erasable colored pencils while school supply shopping! YOWZA!! Pricey but HAD to have them.

zoo was okay….very humid……
big gift shop had webkinz….I did not know they had retagged the possum with webkinz big tags…..saw leopards, lions, white seals, polar bears, possums, cardinals and that is all I remember….7.95 each
really surprised at the possums tho….I got mine at cracker barrel

hello everyone!
want to hear a good one I pulled today??? HEHEHehehehe
the man was um..well he was redoing the plumbing in the upstairs bathroom sink.
it um ..well fell apart in his hands! LOL needless to say he said we had to go to Lowes to get all new pipes..well since he was only supposed to be replacing the faucet and it all fell apart and we HAD to go to the store..when we got there I pointed out the fact that SINCE it’s all apart now anyway why not buy the new vanity we have been talking about and put that in too?? yep I WAITED to spring that when we were right there! (insert evil maniacal laugh here)
and guess what! it really worked! specially when I pointed out that he would have to take it ALL apart again if he didn’t.. yes I am truly manipulative at times when the need arises..LOL
I picked out a smaller cabinet so we could have the bath FEEL larger..this is what I picked out as I have a B+W tile floor I am restoring the grout on I thought the black would be nice.

it is almost all done..I did however pay a price..I had to CARRY the old sink top AND CABINET DOWN THE STAIRS by myself…ugh! but it was worth it. but now I have a bruise on my chest from the sink top cause well..it was heavy! lol
anywho that is what I have been up to today..I also bribed him with ribeye’s shrimp, lobster and asparagus for dinner…he fell for that too! only thing is he gets to grill it all too..so guess who really wins in the end? ME!!! LOL

I got my new bath as originally the master bath opened into the kitchen as well as the bedroom…yes the kitchen!!!!!!!!!!
so I had him build a wall and switch it around…so instead of a 24 inch vanity in there before, it is now 60 inches…..very master bathy looking now (versus highway gas station) bleah………

Dee, I have a half bath off my kitchen..I don’t like it, but am grateful to have a second throne in the house for sure! we are going to put in a fan though cause it doesn’t have one! yuk! yours sounds mucho nice! wish we had the room to make it bigger!
Moms. yes I love the black and white cause I can change things as I get the whim and most colors match that well. I also had the B+W floor in my last house. Kinda hard to take tile out to redo, and with the restoration work I am doing it will look new again and last many more years, I can deal with that verses the MESS it makes to take out the old tile flooring.
It’s all done and dinner is on the Barbie cookin’ and um..it’s NOT me doing it! hehehe ok ok I DID do the prep work though.

this one was right off of kitchen…like next to refrigerator….dh closed up the wall and then we closed off a super dark narrow hallway. That space is now my pantry.
so we took a wall down between front parlor and kitchen….had to hire for that as it was load bearing and needed an engineer…but sooooooooo worth it. Just the light that comes in now…used to be a big cave house…..

the red colored part of the watermelon would fall apart but the light green colored flesh near the skin is sturdier. the rind is crunchy just like cucumbers after being pickled.
this recipe is very similar to what my hon did (i think he followed instructions on the bag of pickling spices).
