    Here is the summary – my mother who fell almost 3 years ago and broke her knee and shoulder tripped at home alone last night and fell and broke her hip – having surgery sometime today or this weekend to repair it. Ugh!

    I came home from the hospital in time to take a shower and nap for about an hour before getting the warthogs to school and running back to the hospital. The Dr missed her on rounds this morning, so we have no real timing for surgery today, tonight, or another day. Ugh – we did get to see the on call PA, and I have a call into the orthopedist’s nurse to try to get more info. I have kiddos that need me too not to mention 88 & 91 – yikes!

    It’s so strange here. All of Cambridge/Boston is on lockdown so I’m just hanging out in my dorm all day. We’re having a movie marathon so I’m watching Les Mis. So strange. I was getting texts all night from our school’s police department and I really thought it would be over by now. I never imagined that it could last this long.

    Hi everyone!

    Had some major computer problems..finally fixed..(I think?) lol three days of fixing! of course I am the one to do it as usual. and now I am kinda tired of sitting in front of the computer and glad I haven’t really missed anything big in WW! I did however miss getting a 3rd organ..sigh..and I really wanted a third, but hey two’s better then none right?

    MOMS, I am so sorry to hear about your mom, juggling all that and this too must be so hard! I hope she recovers fast! broken bones aren’t any fun at all.

    update on breast reduction…ready? I FINALLY got my consultation! here is the kicker though. even though my GP has said I need it, the insurance company says the plastic surgeon has to be the one to decide if is is necessary or not! HUH??? he don’t know anything I have been through..yet he gets to be the decider..wonderful, but hey keeping fingers crossed! of course it only took 6 months to get this appointment ( said with dripping sarcasm), and the apt isn’t until AUG! so even IF he says yes I have to undergo all the stuff I had to do to have surgery all over again as some tests have to be with in a 6 month period before! so frustrating. Oh well, such is the life of a human pin cushion! lol

    other then that I have not been able to read much to catch up so I hope all of you are happy and healthy!
