A Louisiana company is recalling some 468,000 pounds of meat due to possible contamination, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Manda Packing Company, in Baker, La., is expanding an earlier recall of some 20,000 pounds of roast beef deli meat to include about 468,000 pounds of roast beef, ham, turkey breast, tasso pork, ham shanks, hog head cheese, corned beef, and pastrami, due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, the company and the U.S. Department of AgricultureΓ’β¬β’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Saturday.
On April 10 the company recalled about 20,166 pounds of cooked roast beef deli meat.
Georgia is included in the list of states where the meat products were shipped. Other states include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.
A statement on the companyΓ’β¬β’s website lists the recalled meats, which were produced at MandaΓ’β¬β’s Baker plant between Feb. 27 and April 9.

Sunday was opening day for girls’ softball season. Note to self – buy bleacher cushions. Five hours sitting on metal bleachers and bottom is still sore. Two dgd’s; older one playing on two rec teams, plus made school team. Ten month younger one is sparing her gramma and only playing on one team. whew.

This looks yummy
Watermelon Fizz
Light and refreshing drink for summer
Ingredients
4 cups watermelon, diced
2 limes
1Γ’β¦β cup Ginger Ale
A few chunks of watermelon frozen, for garnish
lime wedges, for garnish
3 oz Gin (optional)
Instructions
Puree the 4 cups of watermelon in a food processor or blender. Pour through a strainer. You should have about 1 cup of watermelon juice. Fill each cup with ice. Pour about Γ’β¦β Γ’β¬β ΓΒ½ cup of watermelon juice over the ice. Into each glass squeeze the juice of one lime. If using Gin add 1ΓΒ½ oz to each glass. Pour in Γ’β¦β cup of Ginger Ale, and stir. Garnish with frozen watermelon, and a lime wedge.

krafty-max no of dock items is 50 on expired accounts. they also do not have access to tulip trouble, required for step 3 of the earth challenge. i had to adopt on one of mine to finish the challenge. and the prizes are estore so not kpostable.

hi moms! switched to new purse; small satchel bigger than it sounds isn’t so big when I tried stuffing my stuff in it. still love the bag; need to whittle down my ‘necessities’. π didn’t see shoes or boots in Boscovs; tho’ it was the wristlets that hold a phone that initially caught my eye. started seriously drooling when I saw the displays and rack things of all the bags.
