I stopped by a justice store this morning on my way to 88’s & they didn’t have any that I am iso, but they have 40% off plus an extra 20% off
they had the peace & love pup & the candy pup & the sweetheart pup, bichon, duck
think that was all … kinda wish I had not paid full retail for that peace & love a few weeks ago, but it was worth it since I found my bracelet 🙂

Ok I know I have told you all some things about my “issues” but I found out today that I am severely Vit D deficient! I am at 11 it’s supposed to be OVER 30..now mind you I am on Vit D prescription 50,000 units TWICE a week yeah you saw that amount right, been on it for over a year. now they think I am not absorbing it..gee took them long enough to figure that one out ( said with dripping sarcasm) so now they “think” they might want me to do drops which of course the insurance will NOT pay for..of course their is shots.. but she “thinks” the drops will be better..HUH??? I am confused lol IF I am not absorbing, wouldn’t the shot be better? ???
Is it just ME, or are you scratching your heads over that one too? LOL

Hey there
Boo got a nasty burn on his stomach it’s about 2 1/2 long. I took a cookie sheet out of the oven & put it on top of the stove. I told him it was very hot & to stay out of the kitchen like I always do. When to get the phone out of my room not even two minutes maybe one then a blood curdling scream. He apparently leaned over the stove to look at the food.

I am trying not to be mad at my father right now.” Why?” you might ask, because on Easter my Dad was pushing past stove when I was cooking & told Boo to come to to go outside using the door by stove when I had things cooking. I snapped at them and said there has ALWAYS been rule of not going by the stove when I’m cooking etc. He acted like I was being ridiculous. I feel he undermined what I’ve taught Boo by what he said & this wouldn’t have happened.

I have never had to worry about him going by stove when I’m cooking or something is cooling. He has ALWAYS respected & understood that rule.

just waiting on my honey to finishing programming before heading over to his folks for dinner. he had a job interview today and this is part of the screening that they do.
sorry to hear that about boo. sometimes experience is the best teacher. i’ve been baking since i was a 5th grader so i should know better but i’ve had nasty burns from the oven when i’m rushing and the oven mitt didn’t quite cover part of my forearms when i reached in. hope it’s nothing serious and an ointment and time will heal it

I was finally able to get the peeks to work, didn’t get all accounts done but some. Did the spring parent club earlier, wee hours earlier and they worked.
Really peeved they turned the other ones off.

Gwenda..I have that rule too..if I am cooking..stay out of my kitchen! lol of course my kitchen IS small…but then even when I had a big one, I said that. so I understand what you are saying. not that I haven’t had my share of small burns too..lol sorry he got burned hope he heals fast!
Wish the SAD light would work..as to anything ingested, if I can’t absorb it, even in milk I wouldn’t get it. it may be that a medication I am on is stopping me from absorbing. just not sure yet.

ok..funny story alert! put down the sodas!
I um..thought I was going to make something really good with Papaya….now mind you, I have never bought one or tasted one, but had heard how good they could be health wise and thought Hey! why not try it!
we try to try new things as we find them in the stores, just to say we tried it I guess more then any other reason.
I was so proud of myself..we were going to have FRESH papaya…
key word there WERE
I started to cut it up when I got hit with the smell.. I gagged..then thought well Andrew Zimmerman says sometimes things that smell bad can taste great, uhhuh sure… now way I was going to put that smelly stuff in my mouth.
My guy was waiting in the living room with fork in hand ready to try this new fruit, so I somehow got through peeling it and cutting it up, and then put it in a tupperware bowl and carried it to the living room lol yep you guessed it I was waiting for the “FACE” LOL he opened the bowl up and WHAM! the smell hit! lol oh my the look he gave me was priceless!! He bravely forked up a piece and brought it to his mouth, turned green and said I just can’t….lol HEY see if the bird will eat it! so I took a piece to the bird, who promptly bit into it and then spit it right back out AT ME! wait it gets better!
My guy say ” hey take some up to A ( our roommate) see if HE likes it!
so I did..ok I’m all for a good laugh too. kinda mean I know, BUT still..I took it up
HE opened the bowl and stuck in the fork and popped one in his mouth!!!!
his eyes popped open and that is when the smell hit too..he bravely swallowed, and the said ” that was the worst thing I think I have ever tasted” I said I though it smelled like throw up, he agreed and said and I quote ” and it tastes like it too!
I lost it laughing and the rest got thrown into the garbage because my roomy said he didn’t want it in his compost pile either! LOL
hope you all enjoyed the story..we had an interesting experience today for sure.
and not one I ever care to repeat.

Seems like Chant bought some spoiled fruit. Papaya doesn’t have much of a smell. Manila mangoes are very fragrant. Both fruits are yummy especially if you don’t get the ones from Mexico which never ripen properly.

I don’t think yesterday or today was a hot day for hammocks, sorry.
I did try one egg per account but stopped after that since I was getting all old items. I might just wait until next year to feed my stash of eggs if I don’t see another run this year.

I’ve bought a mixed tropical fruit in a can, papaya and pineapple… the papaya was heavenly! Almost a peachy texture and a good flavor, never noticed any smell other than fruity… they could leave out the pineapple and I’d like it better, lol red and yellow chunks of papaya.
I bought a mango once, fresh, and found it very hard to cut up, I should research it before buying again since they are so expensive. I had to hack off pieces to eat, lol.

Zingy, nope it wasn’t spoiled, positive of that. it looked good, felt good..but the smell..I did some research on the net and found that I am not the only one thinks it stinks bad! lol but they did say it can be good IF you get the RIGHT variety! but the experience was enough to stop me dead in my tracks with trying it again.
as to Durian..never saw it in real life but saw Andrew Zimmerman try it..he spit it out,and he eats everything, so I am guessing that is definitely nothing I would try! LOL

why is it that MEN never listen to good advice? I told them to NOT burn wood so close to the house to use the stove OUT BACK…noooooooo did it right under the windows??? now my whole house smells..and I have a bad headache. had to open all the windows after they figured out how bad it was smelling and put the fire out. also told them to NOT burn the pallets! geesh they never listen..what an awful smell. ewwwwwww

oh boy..now I can’t do the challenges in WW, can’t read them, and I bought a hat but it doesn’t show!
then we just got a phone call while I was sitting here writing, from the oldest. with potentially really bad news, the drs. think he has Lymphoma, what his maternal grandmother passed from. and I am wondering why it took so long for them to get to this point as he has been ill and losing a lot of weight. today is not a good day, now it’s sit and wait for the tests to come back.
Now I am sitting here wondering WHY in the world I crawled out of bed today.

pallets are great for building things if you like pinterest – seems you can build almost anything out of old pallets – maybe even an outhouse LOL

this crazy math program they use for practice doesn’t deduct evenly if you miss a question
you can have 98 out of 100 questions correct, miss one, and it will drop you back to like 90%
