    well I am officially SNOWED IN…yup over three feet of the wonderful, terrible fluffy white stuff…so not good…

    it took my roomy 4 HOURS to dig a single path the garage to get the blower out..he was out side from 6 am till 4 pm and is now resting in his room where I sent him to rest up ..because the plows haven’t been up our road yet!!! which means they will plow in the end of the driveway eventually..

    my honey was out for the past two days working in this! he got off finally but can NOT get home!!! he was able to get about 1 block away..sigh..so he went to the truck stop to eat and get warm..but I don’t see him getting home tonight and I am worried about him terribly!

    on the other hand we have some very funny camera videos of the crazy people in my hood! lol would you believe..wait for it..wait for it…..

    they SHOVELED a path up the middle of our road! lol oh yes they did..seriously I am NOT kidding. its’ not like they can GO anywhere..guess they just needed to go OUT for WALK! these people never fail to amaze me. not to mention..what parent wants their kids out walking in this? this is the kind of stuff that can um..take you out permanently if you get my drift?( pun intended )

    oh well..such is life. I’m off to watch some TV or read…maybe a hot bath..NOTHING else to do..and I can’t go anywhere..

    my man FINALLy got home! poor guy was a half a block away but couldn’t get home!
    so he parked at the grocery store and BEGGED the guy plowing there to take a fellow plowman home! the guy did and said he wouldn’t have his car towed! yeah! so I got a big surprise as I saw him walking down the road on camera! I was so happy he made it home I was so worried I couldn’t sleep. he is out COLD. no sleep for two days will do that to ya.

    and it’s 12 am and our road still isn’t plowed. unreal.

    and yeah its actually OVER 3 feet! I have video I can send to someone if they want to post it so you all can see..just let me know.lol

    Super long day out today. Much longer than planned. Ended up working a few hours cleaning for the lady I make jewelry for. Always waits til the last minute, lol, they were having company over Saturday night and as usual the house was a disaster. Looked great when we left though still needed a lot of work.

    dee, what a great bday you had!!! super gifts!! and the cake…I’m going to insist on one of those DQ heath bar blizzard cakes for my big bday. 😀

    Chant, you seem to be ok so I’m going to tell ya’ I’m jealous of your multi feet of snow!!! and I know your worry about your man being out. dh had to work snow eons ago. One storm, he wasn’t home for 3-4 days. All the stores were closed, so the second day, he ran home to grab food (I’m always over prepared) to feed the men working with him. They took shifts and could go back to the yard, which had kitchen facilities. Years later when he was management, he STILL had to be gone for snow but he was in an office.

    Zingy, you’d freeze your tushy off on our beach! lol it’s warmed up a bit from the teens/20’s we had, but it’s still cold.

    Wish we had a Cracker Barrel!! they seem to have a good webkinz selection. Guessing it’s hit or miss, but locally webkinz are mostly ‘miss’. 🙁

    Hey Gwenda!

    I log in to do the pink heart floaters and when I find it and process it to an account, I have the 500 tops for the day. So I don’t play the games cause of that but I found the typewriter was great too, wish there wasn’t that dang limit.

    Did you notice the 2000 moneyz you can trade for 200KC? So unhappy about that. First it was earn KC and send, then the moneyz 1000 got you 500kc and now 2000 gets you only 200kc? Really Ganz?? It’s play money however they label it, geesh.

    I haven’t seen a lamp though I see plenty of the parent banner ads for the purple stuff.

    I will see if I can scoop one that will work fur ya

    hi everyone!

    well even though my place is somewhat dug out..not going anywhere maybe for 4 days to a week! the city called today and told me ( I’m on a medical emergency list that’s why) and said they are having a tough time finding places for the snow and that they are having to truck it out which, as I know cause my honey does this work, takes forever! and the stupid people on my street are now making it way worse! they are throwing the snow from their yards OUT INTO THE ROAD! hello people! they can’t plow what is already there so add more? I just don’t understand WHY, or where they think they are going..no one is going anywhere for a while unless they HOOF it.

    I swear I have the world’s strangest neighbors..lol just a little while ago a woman from across the street came out in a LONG SKIRT and started to shovel the MIDDLE OF THE Road..she was going at it like she was diggin her way to China!
    LOL and she kept fallin’ on her butt. I have no idea where she thought she was going, but then maybe she just wanted to shovel for exercise? lol

    anyway..I’m so bored being stuck in that I am using the cameras for a good laugh…

    I have tons of albums with real pictures in them; also old old family…almost portrait type pictures hanging in the hallway. When we evacuated for Irene, I took them all with us, just in case. Thought an electronic back up would be semi reassuring.

    AN electronic back up is a great idea and safety plan. Plus pics can decay (like me, lol) and being able to reproduce is nice. My sister had a pic of my dad’s parents restored for us and gave us each a copy. Super nice gift.

    UM MOMS? I think it’s if you hear it you will get snow in 10 days..or something like that..wow that is an old one..forgot about it till you said something. thats up there with itchy noses, itchy palms, and other superstitious myths ! lol

    OH no! let’s hope that isn’t true cause we had thunder DURING the blizzard! and I hear earlier from someone on FB that they heard we might get MORE snow on the 16th!!! if we do we will have big problems.. and MOMS? I would love to trade you the snow for the rain! lol

    we are FINALLY able to leave..and what happens..my poor guy got called back to work and will be gone two to three days again! I actually MISS him..lol though I am getting lotws done around the house without him under my feet..but still..he’s so tired..they had to beg him to go back..he didn’t really want to. but then they offered a bigger money incentive..and off he went..
