i know….i got a super late start…still have not done sugar cookies!
the truffles are easy tho…oreo cookies and cream cheese! stick them in a big food processor….roll into balls and let set about 2 hrs and then dip them in chocolate…ta da
i am gonna try some of the gingerbread oreos i found with white chocolate tho….and maybe put some christmas sugar sprinkled on top…
not sure if we are doing pretzels and no time for chocolates with the molds

We had our Christmas dinner today because the only days my brother has off are sundays and my mom didn’t want to leave him out of it. Then tomorrow my sister is bringing my nephew over and he’s gonna open gifts, then on christmas we wont even do anything. Aw. Christmas just seems to get worse at you get older. My mom said she isn’t even going to bother going shopping for me so i can just have money and buy my own stuff. I’m getting a nice big paycheck the day after Christmas, then i’m going shopping later in the week, so i guess i’m just buying my own gifts. My parents pretty much just buy gifts for my nephew now, so hes gonna come over tomorrow and open all of them. The only stuff under the tree right now is his.

Parents to “dad” of my youngest… brought another grandchild over for PB78’s bday one year, didn’t ask or even tell us they were bringing him… then he fussed the entire time cause I wouldn’t let him open PB78’s gifts nor be the first to play with them. “Grandma said to him, I guess PB78’s mommy isn’t going to let you open those gifts or play with them” so I said, no, that is right, he will not open nor be first to play with them, that is atrocious manners and he should have been taught better than that.
He also doesn’t play nicely with things, using things other than how they are made and intended to be used and breaks them. SO more NO.
He was also ticked we didn’t have a special play room he could go make a mess in, my kids are taught to clean up after themselves and not leave a mess, even if they didn’t make it themselves.

Its always crazy the day after christmas. People want to return things, people want to spend their christmas money, and people have nothing else to do with their lives. I went on the day after christmas last year and it was awful.

I have been having a thing for Nails Inc Nail Polish lol. Its kind of expensive, but its really nice and have a pretty bottle.
I love this lip balm from Yves Saint Laurent, its sooo pretty! Beautiful color, beautiful packaging. It was $30 but Sephora sends out $15 gift cards around December (Well they are like $15 off 50, but online that doesn’t matter) so I got it for free (except shipping)

Went down to Ortley Beach and Lavallette today – drove supplies to them in Kevins little truck and gave the Firehouse a garbage full of the Webby plushes so they can be tied on the packages. No tags, but they were happy to have them for the packages – LOL now I have more room in my underbed storage containers ๐

If you get in trouble at my school you either get saturday school, or get thrown out of class and told to go to your principal, but that usually means that you just wander the halls until the next class.
My friends did get detention once for popping balloons filled with baby powder in the hall. The next day the principal told them that they didn’t have to serve their detentions and he never said why.

You can go to In School Suspension but its not really a punishment as in to keep people who don’t care about their grades from doing it again (it goes on your record). You just sit around.
