Howdy all
I searched for a LONG time yesterday for the Parents Club camp ad but found zero and I had not saved one to use/reuse, rats on me
Disappointed the floating Wacky only gives food
I still have problems with IE and the building kits, the items to request do not show up at all and then I am stuck too, have to refresh the page and start over. Opera giving problems logging in a LOT, and it acts weird when going through the dock, it will advance twice for every one click 0.o
Missed the rare in two time zones, hahaha again oy! I need to have a chip imbedded in me, somewhere useful, lol, and one of y’all gets the trigger to zap me when rares and events are happening, any volunteers? Now now don’t everyone argue and fight over who gets to hold the trigger!

I used to memorize my credit card # too and it came in handy when i was checking in for a flight with British Airways and at that time they required that same credit card # that was used to buy the ticket with. Of course I didn’t think to bring it but fortunately as long as I knew the number I was able to go on and board.

I tried to post this on the last post, but it wouldn’t and I left message for someone to get it, but no one I guess realized. so here it is again:
you all are so sweet. thank you. I am feeling a lot better today, the Levaquin seems to be doing the job.It is a very strong antibiotic and it has some side effects makes me a little dizzy, not that I’m not a dizzy woman anyway! lol but at least it’s working.
I know it wasn’t pleurisy I have had that 3 times in my lifetime so far..and yeah that really hurts. Just so you all know I had seen my doctor like two weeks ago for bronchitis, but decided since it seemed to be almost over to not take antibiotics unless I needed them. but last sunday I was feeling better and decided to do yard work, for some reason that seemed to trigger something else on top of what I was just getting over and it knocked me for a loop, I was coughing constantly had a fever and was falling over while trying to walk , so I called my doctor and he called in the antibiotics he said he wasn’t taking chances .. I guess not apparently that one can cure plague and anthrax too LOL! It also can cure UTI’s, bronchitis, sinusitis, and pneumonia. I had never had this one before, which is why I read up on it, I’m always cautious that way because I take other meds and have to be careful. I do trust my doctor and pharmacy but mistakes can be made, and I don’t take that chance.
anyway, just wanted you all to know that I am feeling better just sleeping a lot still.
MOMS..you really should get your foot checked! and that cake sounds yummy!

I do however HAVE to process tomatoes, I have tomatoes up the VINE! lol
bought the only thing to do good in my garden! the critters ate my broccoli, brussel sprouts, lettuce.
the peppers are NOT producing! and my cucumbers have tons of flowers but haven’t really produced much big enough to pick yet.
though the eggplants seem to be picking up..bad year for all but the tomatoes for me. I was experimenting to see what would grow well here. sigh..what a waste this year.
going to have to put up fencing next year.

Chant, glad to read you’re back on the antibiotics. Make sure you take them as directed, for the length of time directed; even if you start feeling better. Something you said in one of your novelettes ^ up there made me think you stopped taking the first batch before you were finished the prescribed amount. That’s a big NO NO. You MUST take the full prescription for the ten days/two weeks whatever. You need to be well to keep up with all this webkinz stuff!!!

i’m gonna guess you’ve gotten the hang of wacky zingoz by now but in case you haven’t, hit wacky when wacky’s feet line up with the whites of the zangoz’ eyes. he should say “zingoz, man” and look like a swimmer doing a freestyle with one hand forward and one hand back.

RE 72 Gramma, I didn’t start them last time because I was at the end of the bronchitis I had had two weeks ago, the doctor said to only take them IF I got worse.
I thought I was all better and went out to do yard work, got over heated and WHAM! got really sick by that Sunday night, that’s when I called the doctor back and he called in these super duper meds I am on now.
I know better then to stop meds in the middle. I would never do that.

there are both in that spot, but he wants me to take a round of prednisone since i can’t take anti-inflammatories – not going to do that for now though, it’s going to have to get worse or not get better for a while before i’ll do that

ouch, momsk!
i had to take a medrol dosepak for a week for a really bad allergic reaction (swollen lip and fissures) to a new sunscreen formulation that was added to a lipstick.
fortunately, it was only for a week and rather painless (6 tabs 1st day, 5 the 2nd day, 4 on the 3rd day and so on). i might have had a mild water retention but that’s about it. it wasn’t brand name either so it was cheap.
if you had worse reactions to it in the past, then i understand the hesitation. if not, i would consider it. no fun hobbling around with all the stuff you have to do.

when i took it last time in a relatively small dose in response to a serious allergic reaction that was resolved in the ER, it ate away my stomach lining
i couldn’t even keep down water & had to take a medication for chemo patients to repair the lining – i couldn’t keep down food for weeks and although, i could use a big diet right now, that’s not the way i really want to do it – it was brutal

that’s usually more likely when taken with nsaids but you might just be more sensitive. nope, i wouldn’t try to lose weight that way either-not fun at all.

i’m allergic to asprin which rules out ALL nsaids
if i could take something like that, there wouldn’t be need for the steroid at all – it stinks
but the allergic reaction is anaphylaxis, so i can live with the foot pain! i can’t live without breathing LOL

i wonder what the percentage of cross-reactivity is tho. if you ever find a good allergist to ask, it might be worth finding out. you can take acetominophen or celebrex though, right?

ouch moms! ligaments take a longer time to heal..sorry to hear that..I can not take prednisone either, it makes me homicidal! lol BUT I can use a topical steroid, ask your dr. for something called Voltaren gel. that might help some, it’s a topical anti-inflammatory.
I’m not doing wacky stuff either, good thing though because I just don’t feel up to it yet ! lol so It’s a good thing for me, but still I was really hoping for something new.
and Zingy, as to those tomatoes, they are doing really well..and the new type of eggplant called” lady fingers” seems to be going wild right now too. it’s kinda cool, see my guys LOVE eggplant parm, and they prefer the skin left on. I used to peel it but one of them had it with the skin on and asked me to do it that way, apparently it has a really good taste and with the lady fingers they will get more so they should love it, but before I pick that I need to finish making my spaghetti sauce!
I do wish I had an extra set of hands sometimes! lol

Do not use Voltaren Gel if you are allergic to diclofenac (the active ingredient in Voltaren Gel) or if you have had asthma, hives, or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.
seriously, i cannot take nsaids – at all – not topical, not oral, not any sam i am 🙂

I can not take diclofenac orally, but had no issues with it topically becasue the dr said its very low dose doesn’t effect in the same way..he said it only gets into your blood stream with long term use..or in huge doses, I was able to use it on my hands and knees. It helped my hands a lot for the arthritis, but I only use it as needed not everyday . everyone is different. but it wouldn’t hurt to ask your dr about it, you never know.

yeah BUT it sucks to have to deal with foot pain..I mean unless you SIT constantly, your moving around just keeps pulling at your injury. shich makes it longer to heal. I’m so sorry you can’t take things that would help you.
I wrote something in response to the voltaren but alas it got sent to my spam collection..lol all I said was I couldn’t take that orally either, but topically the dr said it doesn’t get into the bloodstream unless used constantly and I didn’t have any site reactions. it really helped me for the little time I needed it. but as highly allergic as you say you are I guess I wouldn’t try it either then.

Celebrex is a COX-2 inhibitor; it has different properties from other NSAIDs. It might be an option. The tricky part is that having allergies means there’s always a higher chance of being allergic to something else. The only way to find out is to try.

HUGE HIT at our house tonight!
Meatball Biscuit Bubbles
1 can (10) Pillsbury golden layers biscuits – each pulled into 2 layers
20 ~ 1″ cocktail size frozen fully cooked Italian style meatballs thawed
(or 10 ~ 2″ size meatballs cut in half)
2 sticks mozarella string cheese – cut each into 10 pieces
1 T. parmesan cheese
1/2 t. Italian seasoning
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 c. marinara sauce
Heat oven to 375. Separate biscuits into 2 layers. Place 1 meatball and one piece of cheese into each biscuit, wrap dough around it and seal edges. Place seam side down into 9 inch round cake pan. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Bake 18-20 min or until golden brown. Serve warm with warm sauce.
