Berry Festival Begins Today!
We’re celebrating the Berry Festival in Webkinz World by giving away a different berry each day! Not only do your pets get a tasty treat, you may win prizes by feeding Jumbleberries, Sugarberries, Pickleberries and Moonberries to your pet. Or, use them to fill up your jars faster so you can pick an awesome prize!
Look for the floating berry each day on WKN. When you see it, click on it. Fill in the fields correctly and that berry will be added to your Webkinz World account. Limit of one prize per Webkinz World account per day. Each day runs from 12:00am to 11:59pm EST.

speaking of ‘crafty’…both dgd’s were here one day last week and I set them up to make sand bottles. Previously bought little bottles and dd2 grabbed me a bucket of beach sand (I do not do the beach). The girls colored their sand with chalk shavings and layered the various colors into their bottles. Turned out really well.
dgd1, who is usually with me four days a week, brought a bead making kit to make jewelery. She finished up a bracelet for her mom yesterday, and started making beads for a necklace.
Friday, both dgd’s will be here and dgd1 informed me she had pipe cleaners so they can start making clam shell critters. lol
this summer is turning into gramma craft camp. π

not sure about the IE problem. I was able to log in BLG, with great patience; then open the 3853 item dock through kinzpost. Each step took some time, but I’m in.

you can get more than 1 kind of jumble berry, dee. i got 2 purple on one accounts. i of each berry including polar & googoo berry gets the badge but there seems to be no limit to the berries so far.

same thing happened to me (temp not working), cwc. it only worked for 1 after i opened 100 tabs. sigh. will have try again tomorrow (last day).
if you didn’t get even one, go back to the first peek page and sign on your account again and it should kickstart it. may not kick start the rest of the multi tabs you have if you’ve already had ’em open.

I’ve told you all how my cat LOVES to be shaved ..well it seems that last time I cut maybe a little too short around the rear area…
he has been um..dragging his you know what all over my rugs!!! ewwwwwwwww! I mean he’s clean, because he is constantly asking me to um..clean with baby wipes, yes another thing he now likes and demands, my guy laughs so hard at that. I am so trying to get him on video because he can drag it for a long streak across the floor..but I never have that cam in hand as he is doing it..I just have been having such a good laugh at his antics I just had to share! poor kitty, hair is growing back and making him itchy! lol that or he is all guy and just like to scratch his _ _ _! lol

Re estore items going missing, only once did I have the items sent directly to an account, it took a few days for them to show up. I just get the codes now, as if all are gifts and enter them myself. takes more time but worth it for things to not go missing.
I still see no real benefit from the “improvements”

Anyone know if you can get anti depressants or something for cats?
Ever since my brother’s cat passed away a few months ago, my cat Gypsy has been upset (pretty sure shes depressed) and she keeps biting at her fur on her back and near her tail. We started to notice it a few weeks after my brother’s cat passed away because there was a patch of fur that was starting to thin, so we put a cone around her neck and hoped she would stop eventually. We put the cone on her in the middle of May, and she hasn’t stopped. I’ve taken the cone off a few times to clean it or see if she’ll stop, but every time i take it off, she starts biting her fur almost immediately. We put her in the basement at night so that she doesn’t fight with the dog so the basement has always had a bit of fur in it, but now she can’t groom herself properly with her cone, so shes shedding like crazy and the amount of fur in the basement is getting out of hand.
My mom is getting sick of it and shes said multiple times that she wants to just sell the cat and i know shes serious. A little while ago we put the dog’s harness on her and took her outside to brush her out and my mom said that she doesn’t want to keep brushing her out like that, but she also doesn’t want a cat with no fur left, or a cat that has to have a cone on her neck for the rest of her life. She said that we could just sell her and get a kitten, but as much as i would like a kitten, i’m not giving up my cat.
I don’t know what to do because it doesn’t look like shes going to stop biting her fur anytime soon and i’m not letting my mom get rid of her.

YES CHOCO BUT you have to take it to the vet are you sure she doesn’t have fleas or a skin problem? like an allergy to something , if you did a food change lately could be allergies, or something you wash her with? only way to know for sure is to take her to the vet. sorry honey for your troubles. it may be as simple as those things and not depression. Hope this helps you some.

I’ve been telling her to take her to the vet, but she wont listen. She had an appointment not long after we started to notice it, and they said it was because she was grieving the loss of our other cat. We give both of our pets flea medicine frequently, so it can’t be that.

I’ve been wanting another cat for the longest time, but my mom said that once these pets are gone, we aren’t getting any more. She said that if we sold Gypsy, i could get a kitten, but i think she was just saying that to convince me. And i know my parents don’t want anymore animals to take care of and if things go the way i would like them to, i’ll be going away to college next year, so they would be stuck with the cat here without me to help take care of it.
Anyways, we have a dog that she already fights with enough.

Choco, well then you have to see your moms point of view, as we get older even though we LOVE our pets, there comes a time that we just want to be free of having to care for them specially when our children are leaving the nest too! not that we dont love them, just that we need some time to ourselves, do you understand that?
And it’s sad that your kitty is so sad and fights wtih the dog, maybe you could find her a good home that she would be happier in without a dog? then you can go on with your scholling and not have to worry about your kitty and you would probably feel relief that someone will love her and make her happy again! some day whe n you are settled in your own home you could always get a kitten again right? I know it would be sad to let her go, but it’s sadder to keep her if she can’t be happy there isn’t it? anyway no one can tell you what to do. seems like your mom is leaving it up to you. I wish you lots of luck, you have a tough decision to make. HUGS!

Well, they don’t really fight, they just mess around with each other, kind of liking siblings would. I honestly think they they would both be upset if one were to leave.
My cat is 9 and i don’t think a major change in environment would be good for her. Shes already upset and taking her away from the only family that shes known would not be good for her.
We gave away our other dog about 2 year ago because we were having problems with him, but we had only had him for about 2 years and he easily adjusted to living with my cousin, but we have had my cat for so only that i feel like it would just making things worse.

OH believe me Choco I completely understand hun! it’s hard when we love our pets so much to see them so unhappy, I wasn’t saying you should do it, just saying you should see your moms point too that is all and since your talking colledge I am assuming you are at least 17-18. It’s a very tough decision but not one I would make without consulting your vet first. or maybe the cat father on TV? he’s weird but good with cats. it’s just a thought.

It doesn’t really matter because we’re keeping her. My parents bought that cat for me and shes been my cat for the past 9 years and i’m not giving her up. When my brother moved out my parents let his cat stay here, so i dont see why they cant do the same for my cat if i go away to college.

Glad to see ya, sorry for the kitty troubles. I agree with your thoughts on your 9 yo kitty. Sometimes they will adjust ok when the new home is better than what they had but when they come from a loving home, it is hard, they miss their family.

Choco, a lot of kids take their kitties with them to college, you just have to check into those types of arrangements. I would be concerned about leaving her behind, but that is me.
I lived at home and commuted to college, didn’t have the $ for college and dorm too.

If i brought her i would be too paranoid about her getting out. Shes an indoor cat and the only time she leaves the house is to go to the vet and she always throws a fit in the car. Though we did put her on a leash today to take her outside to get brushed out and she seemed fine, but still.
Anyways, i don’t even know what to do for college. I still need to convince my parents to let me go to a university because they seem to be pretty set on me going to community college and living here, but i would love nothing more to be able to get as far away from here as possible.

I completely understand all your feelings there, Choco. Been somewhere near there myself. I was lucky enough to have a full class schedule, working, and other things that kept me out of the house a good chunk of the time, so I wasn’t getting yanked on nearly so much.
You could go to a Uni close by, not just a community college though.. a community college you can take the basic courses cheaper than at a Uni. But you could start taking college courses before HS graduation and be ahead too.
You would have to either have an apt or a dorm to yourself to keep your kitty safe. My kitties have always only been indoor kitties.
