We are getting ready to head to work, the lady I make jewelry for and help her out with a bunch of stuff. I will see if FFQ can jump on while we are traveling.

I did see the Avengers, but not the other movies that came before it, which really confused me at the time. I’ve seen them all since though, and after watching them I loved the Avengers.

Is the Avengers still at theaters? I haven’t even looked lately, theaters cost so much, if not the tickets then the snacks do

The Avengers are still showing at the bigger theaters here. Some friends saw it and loved it. I don’t go to the theater that often, maybe once every season. It’s the parking here that’s the killer (~$14 downtown for a full-length feature). But this one sounds like it’s worth it (rated 93% by rottentomatoes.com and 8.6 on imdb).
Have you tried using Fandango, Krafty? Sometimes they have deals on 2fers. But I hear you on the snacks. We usually have dinner before or smuggle in our own.

I’ve seen all the movies that came before. Kinda mourning the loss of Ed Norton as the Hulk but I hear Mark Ruffalo was great. I didn’t care for Thor (the lead actor who can’t act?) but from what reviews I read, sounds like watching that movie would help make sense of the Avengers as his brother Loki is a major player in it.

we have a theater close to us that does summer specials $5.50 before noon, but on tuesdays it’s $2 off the movies & $2 off the kids pack popcorn/drink with free refills, so we can go for a really decent price

iron man (great)
iron man 2 (fun but not as good as the 1st)
hulk (i liked it but not everyone appreciated the touchy feely side to a super hero)
thor (so so despite natalie portman and anthony hopkins as supporting cast)

i liked captain america except for the red skull part
i get that is part of the comic book series….but I like them 40s era type films. there used to be a tv series that I loved called Homefront that was set in that timeframe.

dee- a prequel? Interesting. I didn’t know that. I’m excited to see it though. I like the guy playing Spiderman a lot.
Also, I loved the Iron Man movies. Of all the Superheroes from the Avengers he is by far my favorite. The girl kicks butt too though. But I love Robert Downey Jr. and I think he does a great job as Iron Man.

i should get excited over new prizes. except that, when i used to play jumbleberries daily, i got to fill the purple jar twice over 6 accounts. that took months! and never got a single moonberry pond.

I just saw the post about the Sherlock Holmes movies. I am such a huge fan of those. Have you seen Sherlock? The new BBC series about a modern day Sherlock Holmes? It is absolutely, fantastically, one of the most brilliantly written and acted shows I have ever seen. The writers are two of the main writers for Doctor Who. And Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Sherlock, is amazing!

i had perverse luck with winning berries when the challenges are on. whatever the berry is needed for the challenge is the berry i wouldn’t get. i got lots of purple when i needed the red and vice-versa.

121 is the score one needs to get a single moon berry. 141 is for 2 berries. i can’t remember what gets 3 reds but when that challenge was on i kept getting scores over 121 and no reds. :/

ok on personal note..we had someone vandalize our side door tonight. threw something all over it and I didnâ€™t have the camera in yet! so I just missed catching them as I wasnâ€™t fast enough after the alarm went off. I told my guy that that is it! the cams go in tomorrow heat or no heat! so at midnight I was outside scrubbing the door and side of house. have no idea what they threw but wasnâ€™t taking any chances. canâ€™t wait to catch the little monsters. gonna break me some fingers I catch em.lol what I need is a automatic red pepper sprayer so when the alarm goes off I can sit here and push the button lol boy would that teach someone a lesson about coming on my property! lol I can make it myself got some really good hot peppers this yearâ€¦hehehehe (insert really evil laugh here)
