It’s soooo hot…
83F here and I am looking forward to the long car ride to get PB78 just to have A/C!!
BOB thinks he should help me change out the breaker… think he should be feeding the instructions to FFQ instead A) to not upset garage kitties, B) to have an adult handy and not directly involved in case things go badly lol… and he is not a calming influence… sooooo
I have a fan on oscillate for the hammies though it is only somewhat helpful for them… Ezzy has adjusted to a fan on in our room but is chasing a fly that got in here somehow… that can be dangerous, lol.. leaping to get a fly… boom, crash, etc.

Howdy! twc says it’s 75degrees here now, was 80 earlier; not bad. dgd1 sent me a text asking what was I doing? picked her up, went to Salad Works for lunch then mall for some back to school shopping. Found our new favorite store, just perfect styles for her style; Zumiez. guess you’d call ’em skate clothes? as in skateboarder styles? idk, but we got couple cool tops; Vans in Journeys; and couple more tops in PACSUN. Custard Castle on way home where she bumped into some chums from the cupcake class she took. Much needed fun day for both of us. 🙂 didn’t notice the heat.

Finally a tad of heat hit our part of Canada today…we were experiencing fall type weather…..

Replaced the breaker successfully bu that didn’t help… found out today with another visit from A/C company that no power was getting to the A/C unit.. had to replace a fuse in the box next to the A/C unit… then he installed a booster as the compressor (I think) is going bad. So it seems to be working at least some now, as the house is slowly cooling off…

Hey all!
The fair we went to tonight is only a couple miles away. Neither PB78 nor FFQ went on any rides, we shopped, played a few games, looked at the bunnies and guinea pigs from the 4H shows.. both girls no want bunnies and the long haired guinea pigs lol… we did not bring either species home with us 😀

The weather while we were at the fair was definitely better than the day before, here, and way better than most of y’all are dealing with …
Our A/C is still working ok enough, luckily… some chores are too hot to do without A/C so now can get all caught up.
It was too hot for Ezzy to snuggle likes she is so fond of doing… she’d come and get love and them plop down on the side of my face/head lol and get more love and then curl up for sleeping and then be too hot to stay with sharing body heat plus she doesn’t like the fan blowing on her.. poor baby… she has to rough it through my hot flashes too…. poor poor Ezzy…

We are just back home from the cell phone errand… what a run around by Verizon… finally got it all done. Both girls came home with a free iphone 5C, new pretty case, more protective case and a zipper bag for the accessories t protect them and keep them together.

the earthquake woke us up from sleep around 3:30am, felt like we were going to roll off the bed but didn’t. lasted a while too but nothing appears to be broken. it seems Napa and Sonoma counties up north got hit harder with damage to their roads and buildings.

It was an awesome deal on the phones 32gig too… got the colors they wanted and now are bonding over the new phones and sharing cases, lol….

My GS3 is just 16gig and that went fast, lol, I have a 64gig sd card in it too, for pics, etc.. and that is full now too 😉
The deal for the free iphone 5C 32gig is a “reward” for loyal Verizon customers, lol… the 3 of us girls were/are eligible for the deal, oh plus 1gig data..
I’m a Samsung girl, I was thinking of getting the GS5 but the Galaxy Note 4 phone is tempting.. I need to research it some more.. and the Note 4 won’t be available for a few months yet. I love the GS5 but the size of the Note 4 is appealing to this old lady, lol.

dh and I are going over emergency stuff due to California earthquake. I highly recommend that folks have weather radios and means of communications if they lose power/water! be it tornadoes or earthquakes or floods………be prepared folks!

Well today has been a busy day. I was supposed to drive my bf to get a uhaul truck at 10:15 because they’re moving, but we didn’t get up until noon and when we finally got there we had to wait in like for 30 minutes only to be told that the reservation was cancelled and the truck was giving to someone else because we were late and they didn’t have any other trucks available. So they set up another reservation at a different location and sent us over there, waited in line another 20 minutes, then got told that they couldn’t get the truck because when the original reservation was cancelled, they cancelled out his aunt’s credit card info (she’s the one paying for it) and he tried calling her but she’s out of town and wouldn’t answer the phone so we had to drive all the way back to his house and i had to listen to all of them fight about it (that family drives me up the wall with their constant arguing) Then everyone there spent a few hours wallowing in their own self pity and playing phone tag with their aunt and the uhaul place, and i couldn’t leave because my bf’s car is broken down and i’m his only transportation, so i didn’t want to leave him there with no transportation in case they did get a truck. Finally i got sick of listening to all of them so i called the uhaul place and made another reservation once we got his aunt credit card info because if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. I took them to get the truck, finally got to go home, got all of my school stuff ready because classes start tomorrow, went to the store and bought myself a bunch of fruit, went to starbucks, and now i’m at home. ugh

So i got to waste most of my day driving back and forth, playing phone tag, and listening to his family argue about everything. Not how i wanted my day to go. I was planning on taking him to get the uhaul at 10:15, going to panera for breakfast (b/c its right next to the first uhaul place we went to) and then going home. But no, i couldn’t do that.
