Zingy, my tablet is a Toshiba Thrive 10″, I got it from Best Buy so I didn’t have to pay for internet with it. I was going to get it from Verizon but you either have to pay for internet for it or pay a lot more than from Best Buy to get it without.
I really like it, it does webkinz ok. I wish it multi tasked better, lol, you can open multiple tabs but only one loads at a time. You can only do webkinz on the browser that comes with it, just like my Droid X. Firefox and Opera mobile versions do not support flash.
It has forward and rear facing cameras, I have recorded concerts with it. I haven’t had the chance to face chat with it yet. Maybe I can test that with FFQ and her new cell.

Yeah, as long as we’re home we just use the wifi at home. The iPad didn’t require a contract and didn’t have a SIM card installed either. So we just stopped by an AT&T store in the mall, picked up a free SIM card and plan on activating a pay as we go thing only if we’re off on a road trip.
Ours doesn’t have a camera but his sis has an ipad2 and her kids (the oldest is entering middle school this fall) use it to make homemade videos to email to their grandparents. He & his siblings chipped in to get his parents an iPad2 so they can videoconference (FaceTime) with the grandkids (his sis and her family lives in southern california; grandma & grandpa are in northern California).

Does the Fire run other flash based apps?
Just got a tweet from Firefox that they have released a mobile version with Flash support, I haven’t tested it yet but hope that version runs flash better than what is in their regular browser. I have mentioned the problems we have with FF and flash a few times, they answered the first time but no new intel since :-\

It was rather chilly last night at PB78’s softball playoff game, I am so glad I took a jacket though a heavier one would have been good, lol
They won 21-2!! They removed the usual game limits due to it being a playoff game. Usually the girls get one at bat per inning and only 6 runs per inning then they switch to the other team.
It was awesome, the team was so ON! They play again tonight, not sure where yet though.

Hi everyone
Not feeling too good today have a fever and woke up sweating, ok so the bed was soaked..anyway I thought oh great MEN -o-pause stuff again, nope, got up room was spinning and I um, lets just say got sick to my tummy, and I just feel blah..too weak to do much though I did get the ham in for dinner and sides put together, doubt I’ll be eating though no appetite, drinking gatorade and trying to keep hydrated, not much I can do but sit here at the computer and moan and groan lol
and read up of course, I am trying to read all the links and stuff on the flash players and browsers, still not sure which way I would go, guess maybe calling Ganz and ASKING which one it works best on might be an option?? like I said before, at the van thing they had some kind of pad set up and said WW could be accessed on it, BUT they never turned them on! no demonstration..wonder why they bothered to set it up..

Plant people…can those lemon bombs (intentional mispelling) and other things be planted in shrub beds? or do they need to be in pots? I’d like to stick some in the shrub beds around the pool. Picked dd1 and family up from the airport late today; also had to get Sanford Bulldog from his fancy schmancy doggie resort. Everyone home safe and sound. They were in FL the past week, along with rim of Debby. They were real happy to be home.

thanks, I’m am actually feeling a little better hope it passes fast.
the lemon balm and the chocolate mint SPREAD lol so if that what your looking for good plants plus they smell good and you can use them for teas and other cooking. I’ve had moles before and they never touched mine, but I can’t say for sure if they would eat them or not, I’m guess not though. you can put them in pots or the ground but if you want them to come back yearly cutting them down to the ground end of the year IF you live in colder climate helps them to come back stronger. you can find out a lot on how tall they get ect just by Googleing them. I think you will love them as they are really easy to grow. IMO

I love the new Peek a Newz Prizes. How exactly does that work though? I’ve never done one before and I’d like to know because I definitely want at least one of all of those prizes.

I wonder if we can “recycle” the peek a news winning page once someone completes it like you can with the bloggerhood ads and other prize ads. That would make things so much easier. Hopefully we can! Has anyone tried that before?

you log in on webkinz newz find the critter they tell you to find for that particular peek and just click around till you find it 5 times then you enter your account info and POOF! you get the prize! lol
you can go on the webkinz news to get the directions!
and I am officially ticket at Ganz yet again..logged in to both asian accounts..and NO summer sensation gift! I hate having to call them to get this stuff. you would think by now they would know how to program that stuff properly..IMO

for peek a newz, go to wkn. under webkinz newz front page, left upper corner where you see plumpy? click anywhere on that square and it’ll bring up the next page where it says exactly what you need to do which i copied here:
How do you play? Click the button below to log in with your Webkinz World account. Then, search Webkinz Newz for the featured host. When you find the host, click on him or her. Find the host five times, then fill in the form and a special prize will be added to your Webkinz World account.
by searching, they mean open multiple tabs to look for plumpy.
