Welcome to my newest pet – Skittles! 

Thanks to dee for the name!   (Of course only dee would think of a name related to “Taste the Rainbow” rascal . . . since I’m sure she has a bunch of raccoon recipes!  LOL)

    Such an adorable pet!! I’m in love. SO tempted to get this one but I’m holding out for the pink greyhound. I tweeted that they should sell it, but haven’t seen it yet. *sniff*

    not been home long, going to crash shortly for a while before I have to go get FFQ from school. She wants to go to a library in another own.. *sigh* she would love to go to and have a library card for every library known to man

    Did everyone have a nice Mother’s Day? dh too Mom and me to Outback for dinner; it was wonderful. Today I have stuffed peppers in the oven, per dh’s request; Mom is coming for dinner; and I have dibs on take out for dd2’s dh. 🙄

    sorry dee, got tied up having my truck inspected, groceries, and errands. 😉 so how’s it going? I remember stripping the paper from our living room. HUGE nightmare! I was advised to score the wallpaper; then using a sprayer, spray the wall(section by section) down with hot water; then scrape. After the scraping, then there was the sanding and re-papering. 🙄 btw, I went through the yellow pages prior to starting the project and couldn’t even find someone I could PAY to do it!! the last one I spoke with told me about the scoring and sprayer and wished me luck.

    30 yr old wallpaper and glue…..poor dh knows how they glued too….all that laminate and plywood

    i was trying to get my grandparents to go to a very special nursery with me tomorrow just to walk around the flowers, get some fresh air, see pretty flowers, have lunch at the cafe there . . . but no 🙁

    my grandmother doesn’t want to do anything right now, i worry that she is going to grieve herself to death 🙁
