Miss you ladies. March has been super duper busy which is kinda….. odd. Hoping April is much slower but doubt it since gardening season is upon us!

no pic. I adopted the lil black&white kitty I won in cocomac’s contest about guessing the pets in the box. Her name is Eliza. Also adopted Welsh Corgi and named her Dee. 😀 More to adopt when I catch up adding housing for them. 🙄

Im getting really annoyed
Next tuesday i have to do scheduling for next years classes and we got the papers for them yesterday because we need to have all of our classes picked before we schedule. We have 6 classes each trimester, so thats 18 classes total. The only classes i actually need are 2 english and 1 math related, and the rest will be electives. Im taking AP Comp and thats a full year class, so that will take up 3 and i’m taking trig and thats 2 trimesters. That leaves me with 13 classes that i need to fill, but theres absolutely NOTHING left that i want to take. So far ive picked astronomy (dont need a science class, but im taking it just for the heck of it), lifeguarding, drama (2 trimesters), beginning jewelry design, and marketing (2 hour block that lasts all year, so counts as 6) So thats 15 total. Ive gone through our course guide multiple times, but theres nothing i want. I dont even want to take lifeguarding or drama, but i feel like i have to just to fill up space on my schedule. Ugh. I still need 3 more classes and theres nothing that i want to take.

They really need to add more class choices for my school. There are a lot, but i know of a lot of other people that are in the same situation as me, so if theres that many people with nothing to take, they should do something about it.

I had a big parent brief thing last nite, and they compress the classes so that one semester counts as a year of something.
happened to me too way back in the day…I had enough credits to graduate a year early, but I needed to pad my college resume and I was not ready to be done as i wanted to do all the senior year stuff.
in hindsight, it was not a big deal and I should have just left early, but where would i have went? we did not have college money in my family. I am the only one to even graduate high school! ha ha ha

Graduating early sounds nice, but if i were to do that, i couldnt be able to take AP Comp because theres a full year class and i really need to take that one so i can improve on my writing.
I havent failed anything yet, so i’m starting to finish up my credits and ill be graduating with quite a few extra credits. I think we need 27.5 credits to graduate and i’ll have 30 by the end of the second trimester next year, so i would have enough to graduate early, but i dont really see a point in it. Instead of sitting in school all day with my friends, i’d just be sitting at home all day by myself.

i was only just 17…so where would I go?
I wound up helping out in the counseling office doing paperwork and making appts and stuff like that…it was fun and they wound up giving me real nice letters for college…but mostly it was fun and I felt all grown up hanging with the old folks..but I have always been older than my age
and i did get to take an art class i always wanted to take.. i stink at art..but I wanted to do it

I could do co op if i got a job before the beginning of the school year. Id be able to leave right after 5th hour and go to work but i would have to have a car and a license by the beginning of the school year and i dont know if thats gonna happen.
Ive already taking the majority of the art classes that my school offers and i have no desire to take anymore because the drawing class i had this trimester just ticked me off and frustrated me to no end. My lowest grade right now ( 84 ) is in that class and theres no way that im going to be able to finish my final drawing for that class by tomorrow because i just dont know what to do with it. I dont know what to do with it and its so frustrating. Im going to have to turn the drawing in half finished and it will drop my grade even more.
Ive had it with art classes for now and yesterday i talked to my counselor and i dropped my painting class that i was supposed to have next trimester. Now im stuck in a novels class because there wasnt much to choose from for that hour.

The worst part is that my drawing teacher thinks im talented and im going to feel really bad turning that drawing in tomorrow because not only is it going to hurt my grade (a lot) but i know im going to disappoint that teacher and i dont want to do that. I want to finish it, but i just dont know what to do with it. I dont know why that teacher thinks im talented, i dont think i can draw at all. That class just frustrates me so much.
But i am taking a jewelry design class next year (mainly because theres nothing else to take) so i wonder how that will go.

I have the bird drawn out and most of the feathers on it and some of the background. It has to be done in ink and he said that the whole thing had to be covered in ink but mine has a ton of white space because i dont know what to do. We need to use the 7 line shading techniques (which i hate) that he showed us, but i dont know how to use them properly.

Ive pretty much given up on it. The background for that picture is pretty much impossible to do with the line shading that we’re supposed to do. So i just dont know what to do with it. I’ve already done the essay that we were supposed to do on the bird, so if i turn in a completed essay and a half finished bird, the lowest i’d probably end up getting is a D+ for it (or maybe a C?) If the teacher counts this as our final exam grade (not sure if he will or not) and i get a D+, then at the lowest i would get an 81 (B-) so it wouldnt be so bad.
I was trying to get all A’s this trimester and that is the only class that i don’t have an A in. I know that theres no hope of me getting an A in it, so i’d be willing to accept a B.
